  1. because we didn't re-sign Barkley and wanted someone better than Webb or Fromm?
  2. It be nice if we have him for a few years too.
  3. He is, I also saw the Texans just cut Darren Fells who isn't a horrible TE2 that we could sign and not count against comp formula.
  4. Didn't the NFL make it illegal to jump up to try and block kicks?
  5. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31086416/long-new-england-patriots-safety-patrick-chung-reverses-course-announces-retirement
  6. He got hurt last year. He's a good player, he's an upgrade for us.
  7. I can't say we've improved except for with Star returning it bodes well for our D. As I wouldn't say we regressed either. Yet if we do add Ertz that changes things quite a bit. Also if get significant play from a draft pick or two we could see better things in 2021.
  8. Because we need a role player which Sanders can do. Most of the guy's left wanting 1 year deals hoping to explode for a big year and cash in next year. Truth is Sanders or whomever we brought isn't going to beat out Diggs as our #1 a d might not beat out Beasley as our #2.
  9. The most dangerous word in sports is potential, I don't want to be in TE purgatory with Knox.
  10. I'm hoping it was less than the tender, I don't mind him back but still want to improve CB2.
  11. Nope, we cut him so not comp pick eligible.
  12. Mack is from Florida, I know he played at SUNY Buffalo (as I'm an almnus- Class of 2000) but this bring him home narrative has to stop. I voted Hunter as has a much friendlier cap number and age on his side.
  13. I'm not sure but considering last season in Mongo's first game back Morse got hurt, we had Bates in at Center and moved Mongo there a series later.
  14. Mongo can play center and with Morse a long term question mark you have a security blanket in Mongo. As he can start at RG or C.
  15. I think it's a money thing, as let's not forget we didn't tender McKenzie last offseason either but eventually re-signed him.
