  1. Na Beane wouldn't be dumb enough to give two QBs franchise type money contracts.
  2. Tough call, I'm voting AD Mitchell again but Darius Robinson is hard to pass up since we have questions at DE/DT depth and long term answers. Yet I ultimately went with the best with Legette and hoping like the last mock a quality DT falls in Round 2.
  3. I could debate the 49ers traded up in 1985 to get Jerry Rice, granted they were the defending Super Bowl champs. Yet he definitely helped them win 3 Super Bowls. Yet I agree I'm not one that feels we have to trade up. The reason people are clamoring for this draft at appears to have not just the top 3 guys and question marks but you can still get an above average WR if get the 6th or 7th guy off the board.
  4. Who was the elite WR in KC last season?
  5. And chasing points is never the best way to win, instead you hold your opponent to less and/or cause them to make mistakes and take advantage of them. Until our defense can stop KC's offense on more than one drive in the post season we're going to struggle to earn a Lombardi trophy.
  6. I'm also fully expecting Harbaugh to grab Brock Bowers as he's always favored TEs in his offense.
  7. Beane has talked about adding speed and RAC this off-season, Coleman is not that so think this won't happen or at least like you hope it doesn't.
  8. I don't know. I felt that OJ was guilty and hurts being the respect I had for him prior but it goes on to show that celebrities shouldn't be idolized without truly knowing them as people.
  9. Like many I grew up loving OJ for his ties with the Bills and was shocked by the unfortunate events that lead to the loss of Nicole and Ron but after to evidence was presented he was guilty in my mind. I became upset that a hero had fallen. I then got more angered when a jury seemingly let a guilty man free. Yet have no ill will to OJ for the verdict which some want to hold onto. I can separate the athlete from the person and thank OJ for what he did on the field but never forgive him for what happened afterwards.
  10. What motive would Jason have?
  11. Reich hand a handful of moments but come on man Diggs was far more consistent and contributed more on the field week in and week out. It's like those that those calling for Tasker a HOFer, sorry impactful yes but not in enough games.
  12. Because he hasn't signed yet is all I can guess.
  13. Maybe Dallas doesn't want to compete with them, I'm just glad they aren't going to Hamilton.
  14. He wasn't even the alpha at LSU, while he offers a lot in terms of height and speed he seems limited to certain route that take advantage of his speeds. He kind of reminds me of Alvin Harper in Dallas who when moved on to Tampa to be a #1 he didn't live up to the billing. While I love his skill set I do have reservations. Ultimately I'd stand pat at 28 and see what fell to me, as am okay if we take Legette at 28, or Chop or Darius Robinson or Newton and then look at a WR in Round 2. As we have a few holes to fill and even without Diggs I don't think WR is the worth reaching for if other quality prospects fall.
  15. Difference was Philly's guy was arguably the most talented player in his draft class and fell a few spots down because of some off the field issues. Similar to Warren Sapp. Sweat on the other hand at best is a 2nd Round pick but might fall the mid 3rd to 4th because of this.
  16. Most likely in a cubicle with no windows close by, talking to customers maybe catching the coverage on a near by tv if not distracted with the call I'm on.
  17. I'm sure Higgins will be. Unless Cincy gets Chase locked up long term before hand and franchise tags Higgins again.
  18. The Raiders are always a team to surprise. Xavier Worthy seems an obvious connection since they love speed. They might also take a QB.
  19. I think we need an eventual replacement for Da'Quan Jones that can't take later than Round 2. We also need to shore up some depth in the secondary and at RB which to me more important than getting two WRs. I'm okay getting one in the first 2 rounds but not both.
  20. I see Brown as a poor man's Gabe Davis. Yet he did show he could do more when Dell and Collins missed time.
