  1. RJ did but apparently it didn't get him to get his arm strength back according to Wikipedia. Comeback attempts (2006–2008)[edit] Following his release from Oakland in 2004, Johnson underwent Tommy John surgery, a procedure more commonly performed on baseball pitchers. A tendon was taken from Johnson's wrist and transplanted into his elbow to replace the injured tendon that resembled "a frayed rope" from overuse. After a year of recovery, Johnson worked out for the Tennessee Titans, but was not signed. Reports suggested his arm strength was still under 50%. In 2006, Johnson was signed by the New York Giants to compete for a roster spot behind starter Eli Manning. Johnson was released before the preseason came to an end. In an NFL.com interview, Johnson vowed to continue his career for as long as he could play at "an NFL level." In September 2008, Johnson was invited to a Titans workout, along with Joey Harrington and Chris Simms. However, the Titans signed Simms as a backup for veteran Kerry Collins. This was Johnson's last reported NFL workout.
  2. Actually four if want to count Mike Shula who is our Senior offensive assistant.
  3. Keenum might not have the upside of Trubisky but he's still one of the better backups in the NFL. Granted Josh is indeed something special and without him the offense takes a few steps back.
  4. Hodgins was a slot guy in college and was a size mismatch, his biggest issue in the NFL will be speed and while 40 time doesn't matter but speed and separation do count for that and not sure how much he'll have.
  5. Drafted with our original 1st Round draft pick year that year.
  6. I can't remember if I suggested this one before but if liked her in Schitt$ Creek, Annie Murphy is on a show on AMC called Kevin Can F*** Himself. It definitely has it's dark moments and love it's take on traditional sitcoms.
  7. I learned from a co-worker that the actors that play Flo and Jamie in the Progressive commercials are married in real life. *mind blown*
  8. Disney ruins everything.
  9. So I guess you didn't mind Tim Tebow? I for one would hate to be his teammate. Again not so much as the player but the media circus that surrounds him.
  10. Eli and Coughlin definitely had Brady/Belichick's number.
  11. Just like he trolled Peyton Manning, it's all in good fun but to his credit Brady is as competitive as they come and Josh Allen has part of that in him too.
  12. Unless the media asks players for comments on what he doing etc. It can be a distraction and/or some teams just don't want to be in a media circus, I see McDermott like that whereas someone like Rex Ryan loves being in one.
  13. Think Tim Tebow 2.0. Sadly Kaepernick is polarizing to some for his kneeling to the flag, personally I had no issue with it but others do.
  14. Just don't watch the Bad News Bears Go to Japan, it's terrible. In terms of better baseball movies I've got to give Eight Men Out and 61* some love.
  15. I have the same first and last name as a serial killer in Illinois, thankfully I was 6 at the start of his crimes and live in New York and nobody asks me about him.
  16. Maybe put the fans in charge of plays for the offenses in some sort of app/online voting system. Yet honestly I haven't watched the Pro Bowl in decades and likely won't watch it even if my suggestion went through.
  17. Finally, I was waiting to see someone mention this.
  18. That sounds exactly like something Hoodie would do, he's just feels like a coach that fit in well in the Lou Saban, Vince Lombardi days.
  19. I can't see the Browns allowing Baker anywhere near the team as the media circus be in full gear and having lived through Flutie-Johnson here in Buffalo I wouldn't wish that kind of thing on any fanbase well I take that back maybe New England.
  20. He's the only FB on the roster.
  21. I disagree, one could argue Fred's success let us move on from a potential HOF in Marshawn Lynch.
  22. Hmmm I found this a year ago, it might be same guy. https://www.google.com/amp/s/buffalowdown.com/2021/05/06/buffalo-bills-reportedly-setting-workout-qb-zach-smith/amp/
  23. I saw a QB in the WKBW highlights, #6 named Smith yet no such player on the roster unless he was just here on a tryout. I had thoughts that Terrel Bernard might be in the mix as his athletic profile is similar to Poyer.
  24. Jeff Burris was good player but Nate Clements was even better.
