  1. Didn't you hear? The Patriots offensive line coach is awesome, his name is Matt Patricia.
  2. It's simple, when Jackson was thrust into the CB2 role he wasn't that much worse than Levi was. So we keep Jackson at a lower cap number to stay at CB2 and allow us to use the cap we were to spend on someone else like DT Jones. We then draft a guy that will be our CB3 and hopefully develop into a starter. Rinse and repeat. It's why our previous regimes sucked as we never developed anyone or got benefits of good draft picks after round 1.
  3. Bye bye Beasley. Bills getting a backup RB/possible slot WR all in one. Not bad but still need to shore up backup TE and a veteran DE to help the young kids and of course a veteran backup QB. Maybe all these Washington guys can convince Fitz to come in as a backup. Moss/Beasley spot hopefully we do draft a RB and/or a CB that can add outside depth and return kicks/punts to shore up another hole.
  4. Settle is 24, I'm pretty sure he's not older.
  5. I feel that unless they seriously low ball him than he takes the money in Cincy. Cincy made it to Super Bowl last year and has money to spend. Granted I can't see replicating the same success this season.
  6. We haven't seen money for either guys we've signed.
  7. Gronk has an opening in Cincy with Uzodah signing with the Jets yet does he turn away from Brady? Not sure. It be nice to have him here but think he can get more money elsewhere.
  8. Bobby Johnson worked with him in Indy. I remember thinking we'd go after him two seasons ago.
  9. We're getting Beebe's kid?
  10. He's an underrated guy. I didn't think we had a chance as his age. I also saw him as a backup to Oliver but he should replace Phillips but as a better pass rusher.
  11. That might be a sign were done for the day if had pressers.
  12. Saleh brings in a former 49er, I wonder if he and kid in Miami going to compete for guys they know from San Fran.
  13. So does this let us get Quinton Spain back? J/k
  14. I thought about him too but being he started at Center last year so he might want starting money.
  15. I agree and Engram can also lineup in the slot as a big WR as needed. That said he isn't much of a blocker so he's not really a complete TE that we may need to help with the running game.
  16. His age might not help him but he's better than what we have now for sure.
  17. Austin Corbett and his ties to Kromer seems to be a guy that we'd pursue yet not sure he's going to be any less than Williams and doesn't offer position versatility.
  18. I hope Beane is working on adding a lower cost OG to replace him. Maybe one of the Ram UFAs (Allen or Corbett) or former Panthers (Turner or Norwell) are on our radar. I'm not shocked by the move when look at it from money end.
  19. I'm hoping we land another passing option since we could be without Sanders, Beasley and McKenzie. With Hughes, Addison and Butler gone a veteran Dlineman or two be nice. If Levi walks a veteran CB in the mix be nice as would be a OG. I think the biggest names we could see would be Gronk or Engram. Jamison Crowder be a nice one year slot option. Chandler Jones be nice but not sure we have the cap for him. Xavier Rhodes could be a veteran CB that likely not break the bank. Austin Corbett be nice but Bates played down the stretch so might get a lesser name to provide depth. I haven't really looked to see who's out there but like in other offseasons I think we look for role players that produce but aren't the big names most familiar with.
  20. But they also have Austin Hooper on a crazy contract.
  21. The Browns have to see if Baker worth keeping long term. So do what the Bills did with Allen and put better WR talent around him. That said the Browns also paying their RB quite a bit.
