  1. I remember Stevenson in the preseason doing well. He also showed seperation I'm regular season. As a KR he struggled but wasn't horrible all the timr. I agree with your draft needs and throw in RB1 I'm there too. At OG we let Feliciano go and find a solid depth guy as Bates and Williams were great down the stretch. I bring up Hyde and Poyet as think if improve CB2 it makes S less important so we can afford for them to slip as they age.
  2. Then we need to find a true #1 RB. I like Motor but he's ideally a 3rd down/change of pace RB. Moss is not reliable.
  3. But he can't play both I suppose as he ages we can slot him if unearth another outside guy.
  4. If I'm a Fins fan I'd hate the choice. I mean yes he's young but eh I don't see a track record of success by him just a guy tied to Shanahan. Similar to Dennison and with Gary Kubiak.
  5. I know but father time catches up with everybody eventually. I'm looking at 3 years down the road as to me that's when you can fairly grade drafted players.
  6. Micah and Jordan aren't getting younger. It's a tough as we really in the last year or two to likely be at this level unless Josh keeps at his current pace and defense can be middle of the road or better. On offense I want a RB1. I'm not calling for Stevenson to be a starter this in 2023 but 2024 he could.
  7. Jonnu Smith and Nelson Agolar were bad signings if ask me toss in Belichick has a bad draft record IMO. Yet I might be biased as a Bills fan. I get Belichick past success should allow him to write his own check but I wouldn't want it as a Pats fan.
  8. True, I could see McKenzie in a team with a young QB with questions in their top 3 WR group. Chicago was interested last year, new GM/HC but still good team fit IMO or maybe the Lions, Jets or Jags.
  9. Youth and perception he better than he is as stats make him look better. He might be another Chad Pennington but I see Jake Plummer.
  10. Mac Jones without an OC. That said without McDaniels it's going to see what happens to Pats O going forward.
  11. I'm sure Levi being younger and the Bills success makes him look like a better option to some, not me.
  12. Injuries catching up with Beasley but love him extended at reduced cap hit. Yet not sure we would with his age. I'm okay with a depth/developmental WR in Round 3-7.
  13. To me Bradberry a #1 CB maybe not shutdown like Tre but still a great guy. As a number 2 our secondary easily the best in the league.
  14. Diggs and Davis definitely guys for the outside. Beasley in the slot is good if healthy. Stevenson isn't a bad WR when he played either. I just think we have higher needs than WR even if McKenzie leaves.
  15. If Kraft feels that Bill can't compete with McDermott he might want to move on. Also I don't know how much Belichick want to stick around if can't keep winning. As until he improves as a GM the Pats might be a mid tier team. As to me is a Kraft is a Jerry Jones type owner that now has tasted winning doesn't want it to stop.
  16. Toney was good when he played. He reminds me of Percy Harvin.
  17. He could be on a short list of 3rd round targets. The key is finding guys who can get seperation and/or short area quickness vs long speed imo.
  18. I'd love Bradberry as a replacement for Levi but he'd cost too much against the cap.
  19. Bill likes guys he's comfortable with obviously. It might be his ultimate undoing because GM Belechick isn't great and Kraft might move on if he doesn't show he can't win without Brady.
  20. McKenzie getting benched speaks loudly to me. Yes, he's a good player but to me he's just a guy. I have no issues moving elsewhere including developing Stevenson more.
  21. At the league minimum sure as at his age/health concerns he's a backup TE which we lack. I'd take a chance in him on a one year deal and maybe draft a kid in Round 4 to compete with Sweeney at TE3.
  22. I could see Barkley back assuming Trubinsky not returning. I'd also like drafting a guy in Rounds 6 or 7 to develop and see if can build to trade down the road. We could draft a kid to compete with Haack or to develop on the PS with eye to replace him if he struggles again.
  23. The problem was Flores basically threw Belichick under the bus when the Texans front office has ties to him. The Texans feel like the Ralph Wilson lead Bills to be honest as do the Jaguars in that their owners just don't know how to run a football organization and until they find a GM that can their in trouble of being the laughing stock of the league. You do have to recruit in the NFL, and as important as it is in college, culture might be more important in the NFL. The McDermott years are teaching me more about the ins and outs of a football locker room that admit have never been in before.
  24. I think we could look for a Klein eventual Edmunds replacement in this year's draft if a guy we like falls to us. As I can't see us giving Edmunds big time money with Josh's big salary starting in 2024.
  25. You might be able to move Ford and a 7th rounder for a 6th rounder on draft day.
