  1. OL/DL seems like a good choice as any as if you get a good one the longer you can keep them around the better.
  2. I agree the one CB to me that screams to me that fits us is Kyler Gordon and while we could take him in Round 1 we might be able to trade down and still get him in the early 2nd. If so then I'd hope a QB thirsty team would trade up with us and give us a few extra picks and still let us get Gordon if no big trades happen then just take him at #25..
  3. Question is without an agent what kind of contract does Lamar get?
  4. Hershiser was just on fire that season. Losing game 1 with Gibson's HR definitely helped the Dodgers for sure.
  5. I agree Rickey drew walks where pitchers gave Barry "juiced" Bonds walks to avoid home runs. That said those great A's teams were helped with juiced Canseco and McGwire so I can't complain too much. Yet Rickey to me one of the top 5 OFers of all time. As I doubt we ever see someone steal 100 bases in a season again and he did it 3x, his career SB record won't ever get touched either. Then you throw in his walks and runs he likely be unmatched.
  6. Old school comedian that got a bad reputation with the thin skin crowd but great at his craft. RIP.
  7. Ascending Gabe Davis, with no Sanders around he'll get a majority of snaps on outside WR opposite Diggs, count on a career year in catches and receiving yards. Descending-Knox, OJ Howard should get more playing time than our backup TEs got last season and will take away some of the looks/stats Knox got. Shocking Shaq Lawson will be second on the team in sacks this season behind Von Miller. Packing Zack Moss, a rookie RB (am hoping Ty Chandler) with more speed and return ability unseats him.
  8. Josh is top 4 imho Brady, Mahomes, Rodgers and Allen are my rank. After that Watson, Burrows and Herbet.
  9. I'm an Oakland A's fan and was able to enjoy the 1989 season but 1988 and 1990 moreso the latter hurt badly. I also was a Rickey Henderson fan and was glad to see him win another championship in 1993.
  10. Oh wow! I went to high school with the guy on the right in the thumbnail. I'll have to DVR just to see his exact role with the team.
  11. https://www.buffalobills.com/news/ot-bobby-hart-signs-a-one-year-deal-with-bills
  12. Two, KC as don't think Raiders/Broncos defense can keep up with them as Reid build offenses in Philly with subpar WRs. The Chargers feel like a more complete team with Khalil and Jackson.
  13. Singletary is better than Moss in all facets of the game and to me he's a a change of pace back. If we draft a speed/return type back (I'm hoping for Ty Chandler) than Moss won't be on the 53 but wouldn't mind him on the PS.
  14. Lamar doesn't use proper grammar at least in most of the tweets I've read from him.
  15. With 8 picks I'm expecting in no particular order CB, WR, RB, OG, TE, P, LB, CB.
  16. There were whispers all offseason that Bradberry was available, I'd like him but it depends on compensation as if give up anything higher than a 3rd I'd have reservations.
  17. I see no reason why Power should play in the NHL this season.
  18. The problem with Ole Miss is connecting to Eli which unfair to Arch as am sure he wants to establish his own legacy. Alabama is good but not sure I see the Mannings meshing with Nick Saban. Georgia feels just right to me.
  19. and a RB and a TE. The Jets aren't doing themselves any favors IMO as these last two offseasons they've done little to improve the talent on their roster.
  20. Immediate need yes but long term it's debatable as we have long term questions in terms of slot WR and possibly on the outside opposite Diggs, as yes Gabe played great against KC and has shown he can be at times a good #2 but we don't know for sure. Toss in Crowder is only here for a year and we still don't have a guy to handle kick returns that has good hands etc. In this NFL you have to be constantly looking down the road a year or two see when we took Rouseau and Basham, it was in part to replace Hughes and Addison as well as help us last season. Next year we could be looking to replace Crowder or having someone to pair with Davis like we did last year with Sanders.
  21. Toss in the 90s we seemingly took CB at the end of the 1st year after year after year with Thomas Smith, Jeff Burris and then Antoine Winfield, Nate Clements etc. With all the money we're spending we may need to keep our picks to get cheap depth to develop especially with guys like Poyer, Hyde aging and Stafford on a one year rental.
