I guess the Chargers should have dealt Quinton Johnston last year (his second NFL season BTW) when he had 700 yards receiving as a former 1st Round pick. Coleman before his benching was on pace for 626 but yeah I know I know Johnston has to compete with the all time great Ladd McConkey who was amazing yesterday when he had 3 catches for 13 yards. Oh wait no we should have stayed put and drafted speed merchant Xavier Worthy who had 3 catches for 25 yards yesterday.

and despite all this Keon has put up numbers that are similar to those other WRs drafted around him in the same draft class. Yet I know I know stats don't matter only when they do when want to complain that he's not as good as McConkey, who isn't the type of WR we needed when we drafted Coleman. I mean Coleman had as many yards as Ricky Pearsall (drafted 7 spots before him) had yesterday on 1 less catch.

And that is why you need to play within a system and try to be mistake free, so many games can be turned on one or two plays. Thankfully our defense held ground and only gave up 3 after that turnover.

No coach is going to tell his QB to two hand toss a pass to someone which lead to his first interception. I am sick of fans blaming coaching for players making dumb mistakes. That was Josh trying to do his Mahomes impression to make a play out of nothing which as we saw wasn't wise. So you'd rather give up 2 points vs 3 points? Or are you assuming the defense couldn't defend a short field assuming KC would get one on the free kick after the safety?

Truth is nobody want to be around Keon if he was a sad sack and that's not how you build a team. I've been on a job that involves team work for over 20 years. If one member fails you try and build them up not make them feel under appreciated as that's one of quickest way to make them quit or not want to show they can improve. Keon took ownership to his mistake. Will he improve? Time will tell. Personally I'd want him around cuz there may be a time we'll need him and all we can do is hope he shows up. Whether it be on or off the field.

Seriously? He missed quite a few tackles toward end zone.

Bishop's interception was critical to our comeback. Part of reason we were in that position was poor play by Josh early.

The Chiefs lack a running game, it's that simple. On the surface Hunt's stats look good but watching the game he didn't scare me.
