  1. His stats look good but gets poor grades by PFF but is am improvement as only gave up 2 sacks and committed 1 penalty but a grade of 52.2 by comparison Stafford was 43.7 with 2 sacks against 10 penalties.
  2. He might be the most complete RB in the NFL right now. That said I'd rather not give up picks for him.
  3. Since Covid hit most guys don't do the visit thing or if they do it seems more hush hush as I don't remember Von coming in for a visit instead we just talked to his agent and got a deal done.
  4. The great thing about Hines/Cook is both can line up in the backfield or go out wide as a WR. If used properly it can be a dangerous thing as defenses won't be able to key on either one. That said neither have the size IMHO to be a short down back that can get a two year run with defenses expecting a run, that's when you bring on a bigger RB (I like Chris Rodriguez Jr from Kentucky as a 5th Round pick). Or take out a WR and get a blocking/short yardage TE. McGee was our best return man ever.
  5. Yosh Nijman from the Packers might be a guy, he didn't do much he's first two years but been their RT the last two. I think he can at least compete with Spencer Brown but he's been a two year starter in Green Bay and can play both sides so at worst he's our backup swing tackle.
  6. If we find another WR that's better than him, his time could be up.
  7. Shocking.
  8. Stafford is more brittle than Rodgers, and again the Jets O-line is horrible. Come on Aaron stay with Green Bay or retire.
  9. He's got questionable hands but he's on my short list of affordable veteran slot WRs. He does have some speed to burn though.
  10. Edwards and James are on my short list of guys I could see us adding.
  11. Beane knows how to work the cap and not restrict his ability add. While we might not give a Vin Miller but if we can get better than we had last year is ultimately what matters.
  12. No but they'd also have to give Lamar a significant contract. It's a fair trade for both teams. I like it more from Bears side as don't see any great QBs or pass rusher or offensive tackle in this draft which to me best value in a 1st overall pick.
  13. As long as he doesn't expect $5 million like the Jets were paying him he'd be worth a look. I've mentioned Ritchie James and Olamide Zaccheaus as UFA slot options that likely wouldn't break the bank as possibilities too.
  14. Losee free agents and sign next none get compensatory picks. But the person they hired.
  15. The only UFA that worth a look is Adin Hill but to me he's a backup at best.
  16. Positions OG, Slot WR, MLB, DT are top needs. I'd also like a veteran S. They all don't have to be all pros just better than what we had last year. He's started 27 of a possible 56 games in KC and just over 2000 yards in 4 seasons. He looks good on paper but average on the field.
  17. Valid, it's why I've also advocated going after Ritchie James Jr. or Olamide Zaccheaus who have youth/upside potential guys for the slot.
  18. Or we go after an athletic freak DT in Bryan Bresee.
  19. Injuries to your best players like Stafford, Kupp, trading away Robert Woods/losing OBJ for an over paid Allen Robinson. Losing Von Miller in free agency. All of these can lead to losing.
  20. Rolling WRs like the Dolphins have rolling RBs. It's the salary cap.
  21. Throw in Mark Davis and got the 3 stooges.
  22. EJ Manuel? Sammy Watkins? Shaq Lawson? Every 1st Round pick under Whaley under performed. What about the great 2nd rounders like Reggie Ragland and Cyrus Kouandjio. The list are bad, really bad https://us.blastingnews.com/sports/2016/12/doug-whaley-a-look-at-every-pick-from-the-buffalo-bills-gm-001360789.html
