I like Johnston's skill set but fully expect him to be drafted in the teens of the draft.

DK Metcalf is the number 1 WR in Seattle, he over took the role I would say in 2021, that said I have no issues improving TE2 in fact I've been activating that if he fell to us I'd be all for drafting Michael Mayer. I also agree we need better production from the slot yet not sure if Shakir ready to step in and no guarantee a rookie WR can step in either as to me WRs one of the hardest transitions from college to NFL there is and most take a good 3-4 to maximize their talents/learn to run routes and develop consistent separation.

6.5 sacks is nothing to just ignore, it's pretty good production for a 3rd DE on the depth chart. In terms of Tua, he doesn't need to bulk up he needs better feel in the pocket to avoid getting hit. I'm not sure adding bulk is going to help with taking hits as he wasn't a great scrambler to begin with now that he's bigger not sure that going to make him any less elusive.

I get why people judge Gabe on catch rate etc. yet he does produce above average despite some of his problems. I mean what are people expecting from a number 2 is my question. He scored 7 TDs last year and in fact stored more than 6 TDs in each of his first three seasons here. He's also averaged close to 17.0 yards a catch, while he isn't a true speed demon he can get downfield as evident from his 98 yard TD last year against Pittsburgh. As to me Davis is never going to be a guy to catch 6 balls a game and get you 70 yards a game, it's just not him or his role. It never was or never will be, that was left to Beasley. Instead he's in the John Brown/Emmanuel Sanders 2-3 catches a game role and honestly think he is pretty good at it. He might not be a top 32 WR (which to me would mean he's a number 1 since there are 32 NFL teams in the league) but he is a top 40 which puts him in the circle of better than average number 2s.

If he's a low end 2 list for me 55 WRs better than Diggs. I agree he didn't live up to the preseason hype but think people easily dismiss Davis as being a good not great WR.

Lamar Jackson wants guarantees that exceed Watson contract
The Jokeman replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
If no long term contract met (which I doubt will) than Lamar signs the franchise tender to play the season and prove his doubters wrong. He proves them right as gets injured again and struggles in a more traditional offense and the Ravens see him leave as an UFA in 2024 meanwhile they drafted his successor in this draft when they draft Hendon Hooker in a trade up. -
We need more of a penetrating DT more than a traditional nose, see Aaron Darnold, Warren Sapp, John Randle or even a better all around version of Jordan Phillips type. As Da'Quan Jones does a solid job keeping offensive lineman off LBs to make tackles. Yet as eluded we don't have anyone under contract after this season. The guy I'd love for us to land is Keeanu Benton who should be there in Round 2. As he's strong at the point and showed in Senior Bowl practices he's got some speed that didn't use as much with the Badgers.

The Bills will win a Super Bowl within plus or minus 5 years of the new stadium opening.

Draft Prospect Interviews with Bills - Post 'em here
The Jokeman replied to Yantha's topic in The Stadium Wall
Or maybe we're trying to get intel on a teammate of Torrence's like DT Gervon Dexter Sr. who he practiced against. As we do have a need for a DT and Dexter is one of those guys that has the size we seem to love. -
There is an out in his contract after 2014.... so it could be true yet not sure it's 100%.

They also offered OBJ a contract. Either way I don't think Lamar is going to turn the corner again and put up MVP type passing stats no matter whom he throwing to. -

Hodgins is a big slot similar to what Jordan Matthews was in Philly. -
I can't see us getting Davis back after this year and with Shakir's flexibility I think he could replace Davis in 2024. In terms of slot the draft doesn't have many big guys so whomever we draft likely more of a slot and long term guy as not sure Harty's a long term answer.

DT Keeanu Benton OL Nick Saldiveri -
I'd love Johnston but expect him to be gone by the middle of the 1st Round. You're right most of this class lacks in size which is okay since we just need a slot guy.

The return of Brady part 2.

and despite how "bad" Dorsey is from a statistical standpoint our 2022 offense was better than the 2021 offense. He's more of a mid tier TE than a top end guy IMO. All the more reason to get a good 2nd TE. People cry we didn't use our 2nd TE well because last year our backup TE wasn't a great player.

Get with the time it's now "get off my lan" yet I'm a young 45 soon to be 46.

Does Meatball put Levi in to face the team that traded him? 🤨

As many have already stated the present version of the NFL doesn't rely on RBs as such. Running games have been replaced with short passes to sustain drives by making 3rd and longs limited. I think a big reason Josh was "off" last season was he wasn't dumping things off as much maybe because his elbow or maybe lesser options to pass short too. I think it definitely needs to return if we're going to see our offense improve this season. A good slot man could do us wonders.

He wasn't drafted.
