Not sure but Zappe might not be a starter but he's a good backup IMO. I'd welcome him here as QB2. To think people thought we messed up drafting EJ over this guy.

I'm sure one or two will be available after the preseason just keep Klein around to start and cut him if find someone better. -
I haven't listened since he moved to satellite, I've caught a few snipits through youtube etc. but as my username suggests I enjoyed the Jackie era.

I'm not a Torrance fan. He makes me think of Derrick Dockery. Barkely came in and had a career against the Jets awhile back, no reason to think it can't happen again. That said look at the teams with top QBs (to me that's KC, us, Cincy and Philly) and tell me which of them have a QB you can count on to win you a game or more? -
Eh to me Brandin Cooks (who they traded away) is a better WR compared to Woods at this stage of their careers. Schultz is a good TE but I really don't like any of their other WRs as of today.

Oh I agree but four 6ths is quite a lot especially when we don't have many roster holes to begin with.
-
How many 6ths we need? Think we have 3 now thanks to trading down in the draft.

McGovern has played Center before, we could slide him to C and put Edwards at LG. -
The Bears are doing a decent job trying to get good players around Fields, Houston on the other hand has not. Yet I don't have faith in either of the teams management at developing a winner. without an injury to Rodgers how is he going to get playing time? Toss in who would trade for him and ask him to start? Wilson looks like he'll be taking the Marcus Mariotta route in the NFL.

Building the most problematic NFL player 🤣

or lack of one. worse than OJ's? What about Ray Lewis' or Aaron Hernandez's road rage? -
If Kincaid can fill the slot role of this team...

Harris and Murray should also be factors in the redzone as both are bigger backs compared to Singletary/Cook and more accomplished than Moss. Toss in Sherfield/Shorter brings a little more size, Harty can play the McKenzie role as quick guy and seems like Dorsey making changes as reports of Harty in the backfield as well as TEs etc. -

Harty missed 3/4th of the season. -

Look at what Dorsey had for talent at TE #2/slot last season, it was dreadful. Kincaid is significantly better and because of that he should improve the offense as most have said. -

Exactly, 11 play 75 yard drives that take up 7 or more minutes off the clock are wonderful thing. It's what we saw in 2021 when Josh was being discussed as an MVP candidate. even scarier is you haven't mentioned Knox, -
DC needs a QB. As think have some good WRs in McLaurin, Samuels and Dotson. RB isn't bad with Robinson and Gibson. It be interesting if they tank this season and move on from Rivera and get a rookie QB next season.
-
He's been around the Zay Jones area in terms of receiving yards and a top 25 guy in terms of receiving TDs, somebody is going to give him a big contract (Denver, Baltimore, Indy maybe New Orleans or Tampa) as despite what many here feel he is an above average #2 WRs. Ie teams with not an elite #1 and questions behind them (I likse Tampa and New Orleans as could see them saving cap with a salary dump).

Double check google maps and make sure you chose Sunday as your travel date and watch the walking, sometimes the directions will leave you walking for 45 minutes to the stadium since that's the closest bus to the stadium as think they only have one bus to it now. If I were you I'd use an Uber to the stadium or as close as you can get, and then walk down Abbott and Uber back to your hotel, if the game's not close leave early cuz traffic is crazy after game day and the Uber might take a long time to get to you.

NFL Had To Change A Rule All Thanks To Former Star WR Antonio Brown
The Jokeman replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yet the NFL does acknowledge that young boys and girls might idolize these players and maybe they figure for the NFL credibility it better to have better behaved players on the field to appease that crowd that feels since these guys are role models they should be good. I honestly don't care what a guy does off the field if it's not hurting anyone. As let's face it those early 90s teams Bills were hardly saints off the field. -
Because we all want to see Lamar show his true colors. As I for one sick when here Lamar's better than Josh cuz he won a MVP a few yeas back.
-
Depends how much playing time he gets, I think 35 catches with 500 or so yards with 4 TDs is realistic if he in 60% or more of our offensive plays (see slot WR). Yet think he's also below Harty in terms of touches.
-
Sherfield could be a be a temporary fill in as we wait for Shorter to come along. As I agree I think Gabe is gone as not sure we can afford him unless he does a Milano below value contract to stay here.
