Josh is missing a secondary option to Diggs that can be a consistent target like Beasley was. I still have hopes for Kincaid but he still is a rookie and might take a year or two to develop. That or maybe we draft someone next year as much as I respect Gabe Davis game I don't think we can re-sign him and not sure he going to ever be a move the chains type that will catch 4-7 balls a game that think we need.

Most teams can't follow their model as they got lucky to land Purdy as before him they looked like they made a massive mistake in Lance. Toss in they got a MVP type player in CMC for a lot less then his value was. etc. Yet ideally yes you should build a strong overall defense and then a strong offensive line and can plug in a solid QB and win especially when have an all around talent like CMC but not an easy task to have everything come together but as good as they are they still haven't won a Super Bowl in close to 30 years.

We have good depth at DE, DT on the other hand is questionable especially for a guy that can tie up blockers and free up LBs to wrap up tackles. Jones is the only one that really does that, Phillips has size but he's also been more of a pass rusher, Settle isn't someone I'd say can constantly demand double teams like Jones can.

They were offered two 1sts and a 2nd for Burns last year by the Redskins and they passed. I don't think he going anywhere, Horn would be intersting question is if Elam and a mid round pick enough? If not think we stick with what we got.

I disagree the Chiefs don't win last year's Super Bowl without a defensive TD. Also critical stops on D to cause the Eagles to get FGs vs TDs allowed the game to be manageable. Can we win with a middle of the pack? Sure but winning is easier when your D isn't giving up points see this past game, had the offense done anything in fhe first half minus the last minute drive or was able to double dip the halves we're talking about a different game entirely. Holding a team to 11 points in 3.5 quarters makes winning a whole lot eaiser than asking your offense to score 35 plus a game.

I agree Dodson wasn't horrible yesterday. He definitely in the mix.

A guy who knows this defense on the PS? At the very least he can mentor Elam and Ingram and Herb Miller. Same thing Klein was doing for Bernard, Dodson and Williams.

How many catches did Moses have last year after 5 games? I'm sure Kincaid passed that. Harty had a big play yesterday towards the end. Sherfield's our 5th WR, that role last year was filled by Jake Kumerow who had 4 catches in six games last year. Last I checked Sherfield's put up 5 catches in 5 games. Just sayin'.

Because Benford is a bum? Rapp might return long term as looks like this is Poyer's last year. The doom and gloom on this board is maddening after losses. As everyone was crying over our OL last season but appears we shored that up this off-season.
