He'd make an ideal big nickel if actually want one.

We might add a C/G guy but think you do so in Round 3 at the earliest now as Bates/McGovern both have the ability to play OC as needed. I think we could see a TE or DT early in the draft.

Last year exposed our Safety depth was questionable at best. Also no guarantee Damar returns this year. To me this a good add.

His size worries me especially when we already have a small guy in Matt Milano. That said we don't need another Edmunds but like to see a MLB in the 6'3 235 range. I'd also like to see us run a more traditional 4-3 as while Taron Johnson an above average nickel CB am not sure it's best to have smaller guys on the field in potential running plays.

I think the only collusion among owners is that no QB is going to get a guaranteed contract like Watson got likely ever again. In terms of them not pursuing Lamar I think it has to do with thought he wants big guaranteed money and with him not having an agent it makes it harder to negotiate as let's face it most of us value ourselves above what we're worth and if get offered significantly lesser get offended and look to move on. That's part of an agent's job is to be the middle man to find a fair contract for their client or let their client know their worth from a negotiating point of view. I fully expect Lamar to play on a franchise tag this year and see if he performs better under a more traditional coach, if he does he'll get a long term deal, if not he could be traded or not re-signed after 2023.

If we add DHop then think you wait on WR maybe get one in Round 3/4/5 to develop into a RedZone guy that might replace Gabe. That said I'm not a Gabe Hater but I can't see him sticking around if Diggs and DHop are our 1 & 2.

Oh I agree the Jets have questions at OL, TE and RB. Even with their additions am not sold on their WRs either.

The Jets coaching staff and GM probably know they're on a short list after failing with Zach Wilson. Rodgers is a more plug and producer than Lamar. If they can make it the playoffs in 2023 they likely can secure another two to three seasons.

I'd love the Bills to grab their old slot Richie James Jr. as think he a solid depth guy.

I think Ike is short man on this list, can see us cutting him and if qualifies put on the PS.

McGovern can play Center in a pinch, I doubt we draft an OC only.

Nobody likely will get named DC since Leslie on sabbatical but who calls plays/develops the game plan will be interesting. I'll assume it be Al Holcomb.
