    The nature of the NFL is that it's a business and players know they on borrowed time so cash in when you can because once you can't then there's likely someone in line to replace you.

    Step back the Chiefs have scored 20, 17, 19 and 9 against the Lions, Jags and Broncos twice and added Mecole "butter fingers" Hedman at WR. But I know we should work on scoring more than stopping the opposition cuz that worked in 13 seconds game.

    You can tie a 1st Round pick to 5 years with your team and not kill your cap, unlike Johnson who you'd have to sign to a significant extension to keep him here or let him walk and get a 3rd Rounder at best.

    With as bad as the Bears are it could be the 33rd or 34th pick in the draft.

    Jonathan Allen is the DL I'd want from the Commanders but don't think he's on the table. If I were to go for a cheap alternative I wonder if the Giants would part with A'shawn Robinson?

    I'd love a starting capable DT yet the question is at what cost? I'd also welcome a LB to pair with Bernard for the rest of the season.

    He could also factor in a FA compensation formula if he did leave for greener pastures.

    I never saw him play but Butch Byrd seemed to be a do everything CB. In terms of my time watching, I think Nate Clements was the most complete. Intercept? He might have had what? 6 career interceptions here?

    He's also an under rated receiving back as he was a good check down option for Brady.
