The thing with Mahomes, if we take him at 10 you know there would have been pressure to start him over Tyrod and possibly supplant him and make us miss the playoffs our first season under McDermott. Say what you want but that could have had more implications on future teams than we thought as not sure we had the proper coaching staff to develop Mahomes. Or he'd have the same success early on here. Mahomes fell into a great situation with KC as they had a solid team already built and he just made them that much better than Alex Smith. Shades of Cardale Jones playing instead of Tyrod.

This reminds me of Terrell Suggs after he got waived by Arizona and stated he'd only play for Ravens, instead he got claimed by the Chiefs and ended his career with a Super Bowl ring.

I bet Jones signs with Carolina on a one year deal to compete with Bryce Young in 2025. Both play horribly and Carolina ends up with the top pick. Arch plays the Eli card and says he won't play for Carolina which forces them to trade his rights to the Rams and Carolina ends up with Nico Iamaleava. The Giants end up with Cam Ward in the 2025 draft because Deion won't let Shedeur play in cold New Jersey (with the Giants or Jets) and he ends up in Las Vegas.

He's missed the last 3 games, so there's a chance he misses the KC game and comes back to us after the Bye Week.

LaPorta and Kincaid have almost identical stats this season this year.

He's tied for 3rd amongst TEs for TDs. He's within 3 yards of being top 12 for yards. Maybe a sophomore slump but I'm more disappointed in Ed Oliver if I'm being honest.
