Brian Thomas, Mitchell and Legette are the top WR on my board that love in Buffalo. I'm also going to keep pounding a drum on Cornelius Johnson as a kid that is going to make people wonder why he fell to Round 4 in a few years.
The thing with Legette is he builds his speed and has some YAC ability. Toss in the plays to his size. I compared him to Moulds and like Moulds he might take a few years to develop in the NFL. I do have some reservations on his short area quickness to get open yet if he had everything we'd want he likely not be there at #28.
Sutton had a great year last season, will he ever stay healthy to repeat it? I'm not sure but with the contract and compensation it cost if rather get a rookie.
Legette ran a 4.39 so he's a hair slower than Metcalf. As things stands to me he's a guy if like here as compliments what we have an as upside to be a alpha #1 WR we'll need in 2-3 years as Diggs moves on.
I agree but sad part is the draft doesn't have an DLineman to me pop out as instant starters. Safety is rarely a 1st Round pick and nobody grades out as one unless we take a flier on that kid out of Iowa.
He may have not made our team but he did well in New England. CB Alexis Austin played 211 defensive snaps in five appearances with the Patriots. He had nine tackles, an interception and two passes defensed.
Likely not first day signings but I like WR Noah Brown, RB AJ Dillon, S K'won Wallace, DE AJE or DE Dorance Armstrong, DT Montravius Adams, CB Levi Wallace.
He's the guy most likely to fall to us at #28 that I'm happy drafting although I like Thomas Jr. and Mitchell better. The one year wonder is fair criticism but as his NFL.com draft writeup states, it was his only season with 30 or more targets.
He's number 3 behind Douglas and Benford. Yet I'm sure we'll draft a CB somewhere with our 11 picks as competition and moreso if we don't re-sign Dane Jackson. I will say I like him better than Cam Lewis but also be on the eye for a cheap vet to bring into the mix.
Not a major surprise especially when Beane claimed last year we thought Rapp as a possibile replacement for Poyer. I'd add another vet and draft a kid to compete.
