Oddly put but yes, EJ had the height, arm, studied, athletic, good kid but alas el-busto. Don't reach for these guys if one comes down grab him if not Luatte or White in round two. Your point is well taken with el-sitto too, all of them will need to sit and there is a chance AJ might be ready to be the man. If so no harm no foul, at least you didn't give up three picks for a back-up QB.

OK the experts have spoken, which makes me think we shouldn't until round 2 take him at 22. I love this kid go watch his tape, some guy named Montana lasted until round 3 because of arm strength.

I hope Beane doesn't give in to this fan base who insist on reaching for a QB and not just that giving up the house to do so. At least the last time a crappy GM (Nix) insisted on appeasing the fan base he traded down to do so (EJ). Unless Donald, Rosen or Mayfield fall to us at 12 move on and take the Richmond QB in round two he has as much chance of working out as the others. Fill the many holes you have AJ and Nate deserve a shot.

I understand wanting to trade up we really need a franchise QB. The problem is you have to be sure there is one there. I just don't see any of them being a sure thing so take the D QB from Boise st at 12 and CB or OT at 22, Notre Dame WR and the Richmond QB in round 2.
