Bills have private workout with Baker Mayfield
buffalover4life replied to FluffHead's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Backwards, The bills covet competitiveness and leadership. Baker Mayfield will not only be the arm that moves his team but an emotional force in the locker room for the next decade. I -
Bills sign Phillip Gaines

I really like the way Dorsey talked about him after Gaines was drafted in the 3rd round. I Trust his talent Evaluation as well -
Bills sign Phillip Gaines
buffalover4life replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
From what I see from his combine report card is he is a great athlete, with good size and his strengths fit the bill of what McD looks for in corners STRENGTHS Nice length. Can be deployed in zone coverage. Plays the pocket. Good production on the ball -- 35 passes defended the last two seasons. Tough and competitive. Is hardworking and well respected by coaches and teammates. -
LB Rashaan Evans - stock dropping?
buffalover4life replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe he knows that he plays faster than the 4.65 he would run in the 40..you see an athlete on the field -
Let the record I'm against trade into top 6 due to price
buffalover4life replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If they trade up they believe the player they get will be transformative of the entire offense. Making every player look better. Sometime you need to go all in to get a player like that. The price to move into the top 6 is essentially Sammy Watkins 1 year deal, Cordy Glenns contract, Tyrod Taylors 1 year deal and a extra first round pick acquired in a trade that netted the bills Tre'Davious White. Looking at it like that will help when we eventually move into the top 6 to draft our guy -
It would be a luxury to take him at 12. Too small for LB and Mcdermott has a thing for finding safeties, we're ready to roll into the season with the guys we have at safety. If we are going to go undersized I'd far prefer Rashaan Evans at 22, it seems like he defends the line of scrimmage.. or Vander Esch if we go full size

Josh Allen may go 1st overall
buffalover4life replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I could see this happening, as Darnold would have won the job outright in training camp. It will be obvious that Darnold is the better QB. So bringing in Tyrod as a "bridge QB" does not make as much sense unless you want to go with the higher upside guy who is not ready to start or win a NFL QB job...Josh Allen. -
If a team is not afraid to go all in, they can easily do it. Would the giants say no to the Cardinals if they offered David Johnson, two first and a second? What is a QB worth to your franchise? ODB and David Johnson with Eli for 2-3 more years. Fix the rest of your team and open one last window with Eli at the helm How much does winning increase the value of the franchise? How important does the team think a QB is to winning? Will those other players do the same? Giants have all the leverage here, the jets knew what they were doing too

My Buffalo Bills 2018 Mock Draft choices for us
buffalover4life replied to USABuffaloFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont like the trades or Rudolph selection. I like Price and Vander Esch My mock goes something more like this Dream Scenario would go, QB, LB, RT, G, WR, HB 12.)Lamar Jackson or josh Allen, whoever is there. 22.)Rashaan Evans- sideline to sideline backer, extremely experienced round 2, pick the best offensive line players available. WIll get very bad next year otherwise 65.) Anthony Miller- the next AB 96.) Rashaad Penny Or trade it all for Baker.. -
QB Problem fixed in one Fell Swoop
buffalover4life replied to M. Wrotto's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
lol OK. He led the league in TD passes. He is not on the block -
WR is starting to become a big concern for me
buffalover4life replied to DKBills25's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want Anthony Miller with the 65th pick. He is the second coming of AB and he is supposed to go in rounds 2-3. His ability to catch diving and contested balls is very impressive -

I literally think he could be as good as Aaron Rodgers. Id give our first four picks for him and 1 next year, I hate the idea of him playing for the Jets.. -
Stud running backs all over this draft
buffalover4life replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah, I would have a hard time trading all of that for Baker mayfield, Rosen or Darnold; but would still send it. Not for anyone else though -
Stud running backs all over this draft

I think RB is extremely important for this coming season, All our QBs will be very inexperienced. We are now one ACL from shadys career being over, 30 is not very forgiving for injury recovery. He scares you almost every time he gets actually tackled. Dream Scenario would go, QB, LB, RT, G, WR, HB 12.)Lamar jackson 22.)Rashaan Evans round 2, pick the best offensive line players available. WIll get very bad next year otherwise 65.) Anthony Miller- the next AB 96.) Rashaad Penny -

Rahsad penny is my guy with the last pick in the 3rd round if he is there. Very similar to Shady, elusive, breaks arm tackles. ran a 4.46, 5'11" 220. -
In-Depth Breakdown of Lamar Jackson by Eliot Crist
buffalover4life replied to DCOrange's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Getting all scrambly? yeah, he should just not use his gift and take the sack. Also, when you get "scrambly" DBs have a hard time with coverage and your likely not on your first read. He does have the speed and acceleration to get away with a lot of this in the pros, because the college athletes didn't come close to shutting him down. Lamar is likely one of the best athletes, if not THE BEST athlete to ever play the position. No one ever called him the best pocket passer, but the guy is a playmaker and is at the front of the conversation for highest ceiling of any QB in the draft. Also a guy who could use his skills to make a splash early. -
Thats a raw deal for the Browns, would likely need to throw in our first for next year or that 12 you have going to the giants should go to the browns. . . Hardly any compensation for the move back from 4 to 22
-
You, like everyone else, has hardly any idea what the Browns, Giants or Bills want...But if a situation were to align, I'm comfortable with our ability to do business with these two teams
