  1. Yeah, i don't have a second team. My hopes and dreams are on the bills all the way. However, I play DFS for all other games that I plan to watch. This allows me to have nonemotional $kin in the game and in this situation I root for very specific outcomes that could win me hundreds of thousands of dollars. odds are long but the games can give you birdies when they start going right for you Example for a NE vs KC game: I say the chiefs are gonna have a great game. I decide to stack Mahomes, Hunt and tyreek. Now if the chiefs are running up the scoreboard how are the patriots going to approach that? They are going to dink and dunk James white and Julian Edelman all night, so you run it back with them. If you nail it, it would literally change your life
  2. Because it’s not a trade. It’s a tender offer. They have no say other than to match the contract or take the pick and lose him
  3. The deep threat we need? I know mcdermott said he doesn't believe in #1 receivers, he just wants players that the defense has to prepare for, Anderson needs to be prepared for. I know a second rounder and a large contract is a steep price but Anderson is an elite deep threat about to enter the prime of his career and has yet to have a great deep ball QB. I wouldn't do it with #9 in round 2 though, I make a trade with KC or LAC. Based on the trade chart it would take their 2nd and 3rd round picks to get up to #9 in round 2. Then after that trade is made I make a 4 year 47-52 million, 24 million guaranteed contract (his market value according to spotrac) so we get Anderson and a 3rd round pick and the jets get the 61st pick in the draft and lose their top WR. Thoughts? Obviously the jets could screw us by signing him to the contract.
  4. Nothing is guaranteed, still needs to make the team in august. The guy looks like he competes and this staff respects that
  5. If true, and he did want to leave Seattle for his wife, I imagine Miami or LA are also entertainment meccas she could be interested in... also possible destinations for Wilson
  6. I Want to trade back to the 20s and get Hock. he has a broad 6' 5" frame and athleticism that matches the top TEs in the game and only a sophomore. You could see a ton of growth in this highlight alone
  7. This would not make sense for where the bills are at. Cleveland was in the year two of a tear down and had around $120 million in cap and no one on the roster that they needed to re-sign. Josh allens contract is competitive advantage and trading for Bortles would handy cap the Bills ability to build a contender in the next 2 years.
  8. 83-91 million is plenty of room to splurge on a couple big free agents These players cost no where near the 83 million in cap space. Rodger saffold will cost 14-16 million, Daryl williams around 14-15 million and the elite pass rusher 22-24 million. leaving. Thats about $53 million of the $83 million in cap. Leaving $30 million for rookies and other veteran signings. you look at the blueprint other teams have laid out, most recently the rams, formerly the eagles and Seattle. They are drafting their rookie QB and then spending on everything and every way around that rookie because that 4-5 years that you have them on their rookie deals you have a financial competitive advantage over everyone who has paid their guy.
  9. Excuse me, I rounded up, they have $83 million with no cuts and get another $8M(cutting clay 4m, bodine 2M, Vlad ducasse 2M).. I didn't say the whole house is built, I said we have foundation to build on. The 7 players that I mentioned (QB, LT, CB, CB , FS, SS, MLB)I can easily see being here for 3-7 years on very reasonable deals, 1/3rd of starters set for that period of time is a foundation IMO, Obviously we have holes to fill on the offensive side of the ball.. I think they use the 83(91) million to shore up the O-line, maybe one of those elite pass rushers available to finish the house. Then draft TE or WR high to give josh the opportunity to open the Super bowl window. FA wish list Rodger Saffold- G Daryl williams- RT any elite pass rusher to pair with jerry Draft wish list T.J hockenson- TE D.K Metcalf- WR Hollywood brown-WR
  10. It was a great class, and since the regimen came in they seemed to have cut the fat quick and turned around a laid a solid foundation, QB, LT, CB, CB, MLB , FS, SS are all, for the most part, set for 3+ years without contract risk. They have 100 million to blow now, they have been great on a budget, lets see how they do with these more risky big money contracts
  11. our staff loves to add guys who have head coach experience. They didn't make it to that level of coaching by accident.
  12. I watched the press conference where they introduced lafleur. 23 of the 27 minutes were from the CEO, mark murphy. looked as if he wanted to maintain as much power as possible. hiring someone who feels in over there head and will not demand any control of the 53 man roster. That said I'm interested in seeing what hacket can do with a elite QB.
  13. I think if you look at who we have drafted high it would tell you that our front office likes to swing for the fences with high upside guys that have potential to be top 3 at their position. If they have the athletic tools they believe they can coach'em up. D.K. Metcalf appears to have the tools.
  14. Big surprise, 3 rookie QBs with weak supporting casts and offensive lines are bad from the pocket. I bet the stats also show Josh is getting better from the pocket .. Detroit read the blue print. Didn't work for em
  15. I picked Desean Jackson because he is one of the few Vet receivers available this offseason and our system seems to suit speedsters. I have heard that he is still an elite deep threat LB Josh Allen is a pipe dream based on where he should be drafted. Future Pro bowl Edge Rusher, If he is on the board and we don't pick him I'd be disappointed
  16. Yeah, makes sense. He reminds me of Khalil Mack
  17. Allen is a breath of fresh Air. Definitely has me Dreaming of championship football. My 4 steps to winning the 2019 AFC championship are as follows. 1.) signing RT Daryl William out of Carolina, had a break out year in 2017(3rd rated offensive Tackle), injured this past year. (4 years- 55 million) 2.) Sign Rodger Saffold, Guard for the LA Rams. (4 years- 55 million) 3.) Draft Josh Allen LB out of Kentucky. Upgrading our pass rush to elite. 4.) Trade a late pick for Desean Jackson. Fixed Oline upgrades Shady. Elite pass rush upgrades D. Big Arm QB Staying Clean with multiple Deep options. Winning
  18. Odell beckham please. He might actually be available too
  19. i'd say Arizona would be able to get a Kahlil mack(27) like trade for the Patrick Peterson(28). Something like 2 first round picks or if dealing this years picks, a top ten and an additional second rounder. He single handedly removes most teams top offensive threat and he is on his way to the Hall of fame as well
  20. I'd say he has 2 miles of all purpose driving
  21. Lesean is a vision football player who is one of the best at avoiding the direct contact hits that wear on the older players. I think he has years left if he can get some proper blocking, not saying they will all be at the same elite price tag or with this team but if AP and Gore can do it, so can Shady
