He looks like the real deal, I would consider it. Unfortunately, you also have to pay him 25 million a year.

44 games with Tyrod at QB - % breakdown
davspo replied to twoandfourteen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't realize he had started that many games for the Bills. The reality is that he was given a more than fair shot (even with the other defects the offense has) and has not shown himself to be the guy. Class act, great athlete, maybe a better outcome with another team. -
crappy watkins lost it for the rams

It's going to be real interesting to see what he gets in the open market! -
Which WRs do the Bills keep - if any

We have to keep Zay but I have seen enough to label him a bust! -
Expiring Contracts... Who stays and who goes?

Gaines is a must, and should be able to do. Kyle would be great for the fans. Everyone else is replaceable, if we can't sign for a good price. -
Sammy is an interesting character. I think it would be foolish to pay him any more than 4-5 million a year. Numbers don't line, he way under performed this year with a good quarterback. I think it could be as simple as the guy just is not that smart. He thinks the world is flat for god sake. Read his tweets if you get a chance. They explain a lot.

Thompson running free.. thanks Romo!!!

TT is an outstanding athlete and, by all accounts, a good person. He is just not an NFL quarterback. Yesterday was just a microcosm of his tenure in Buffalo. With that being said, the number of dropped passes did not help matters at all. This offense has some serious issues that need to be addressed. The OL play this year was below average, the receiving corp can't catch, and the QB refuses to get the ball out. We must start with the quarterback. -

I am as critical as anyone on these boards. With that being said, a first year head coach took a team that I thought would have no more than 3 wins to the playoffs breaking a 17 year streak. In so doing, he made bold front office moves that will pay dividends for years. Getting rid of Darius with that huge contract number was a great move. Moving Sammy (500 or so receiving yards this year even though he was health and had a real qb) was a great move. EJ Gains is proving to be a step above Darby. Gathering draft picks. His game day decisions could be questioned but at the end of the day, in one year he has been better than any other coach over the last two decades. Yes I have been critical, but no I am not dumb. This guy is good, and the future looks bright. Just think- the rookies (who are preforming well) will now feel the playoffs are a must, not merely a goal. The vets know it is now possible. He has changed the culture. He is a great coach, anybody who says otherwise is not being objective. -

Only watched about 4 of his games and none have been impressive but can't say I've seen enough to call myself informed- certainly ugly tonight- -
DL and LB groups are more pressing need than QB
davspo replied to Dadonkadonk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Trade whatever you need to trade to get the one an you want. The rest can be found in other places. The qb is the single most important position in today's nfl -
Investigated? Are you serious the NFL is part of it- wake up people

Not watching the game but really the Bills got screwed on a call- I can't believe it - that never happens -
I understand that winning is the most important thing, but given the history does anyone realistically believe that is going to happen? Let's be honest with ourselves, they have better talent, a better quarterback and better coaching. Everyone is saying that winning is the best revenge. That is correct, but assuming that is not going to happen, I think it is necessary to take Gronk or Brady out to simply send a message that we are not going to simply bend over and take it. Gronks cheap shot (one of the cheapest I have seen and borderline criminal) could have seriously injury White. We can't simply sit back and take it. I would rather lose big and send a message to the Pats and the rest of the league that Gronks activities will not go unnoticed or unpunished. That being said, the most likely outcome is a Bills loss, bs penalties called against the Bills so that the refs are not seen as losing control of the game, no payback and a very disappointed fan.
