Good to know that Sammy knows what Jesus would and would not do if Jesse in fact existed. Seriously how did he do on the wonderlic test

Sammy is a mess- what is he even talking about? Dude needs to focus on his career before it's over

Dollars to donuts it's not drugs- mental health disorder - sad to see-. Seemed like a nice kid- - always respectful- these kids overcome so many obsticals to make it and it's sad to see something like this happen.

This seems like classic bipolar disorder- I don't think it's drugs given his squeaky clean background. Just a guess

Ten Reasons to Not Get QB Drunk in the Draft
davspo replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The point is that you have to approach this with reason. You can't just trade away the future for someone who may, or may not work out. It is not an exact science. -
I don't understand all the hate for Brown. He was a competent started, although not a superstar. He was rarely injured and a good locker room guy. I don't think he fits the McD mold of linebackers but he is better than anyone we currently have. I am guessing a linebacker will be the Bills second pick in the draft - whatever round that may be. I am still very concerned about the oline- especially with an inexperienced quarterback.

Additions you like to see from here on out?

i know it's early, but I'm concerned about the offensive line. With the play of the right guard and tackle last year, it is clear that needs to be addressed, especially given the lack of experience the new quarterback (whoever starts) is going to have. We have also lost Wood, and although Groy can likely handle the job, there is a dearth of depth. I can only presume that they would be looking to sign a FA guard or swing tackle and hope that they use an early pick on a lineman. McD is a defensive guy and usually defensive guys fix their side of the ball first. I do trust the process. -
This guy was arguable the best in the league before his ACL tear. Not sure what he has left in the tank.
-
If he is healthy keep him- could never have enough good tackles and trade value is low coming off an injury -. If they are convinced he is not healthy - move him no matter what the cost and dead money

I have always like Ivory'smrunning style- very physical runner. I like it- certainly an upgrade, without commenting huge money.

Buffalo Bills 2018 Salary Cap
davspo replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Look at our cap space for 2019 and 2020, we will have roughly 97 mil next year and 162 mil in 2020 with zero dead money. We need to spend wisely this year and be serious players in 2019 and 2020. Great year to draft a young qb that we could build and fill in around him in the years to come. I know it's a bit longer than most want, but things are looking up. Lots of draft picks and money to burn in the next two years. Trust the process. -
Should the Bills re-sign Seantrel Henderson?
davspo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does the dude even play? Time to move on. Between the health issues and drug issues, there is no good reason to believe his career will take a sudden turn for the better. -
That would mean that Cleveland, the Jets and the Cardinals are the only teams that are definite to select a qb before the Bills. The Giants may or may not. Bills could move up to the 10 to 14 range without leveraging the future.

Teams are desperate for qbs- do I think TT is worth anything no- but I would have never believed Smith would sign an extension of that magnitude. They just might get something for TT. National media loves him.

We need a quarterback. If they feel Cousins is the guy, pay him. If not use the draft capital you need to trade and get the guy you want. Sure, there are many holes that need to be filled, but a QB is by far the most important position. Drafts are always a crap shoot, there is no reason to believe that 21 and 22 will be great player, and there is no reason to believe that number 3 will be a great play, but you have to try. Its been over 20 years since this team had a legitimate QB- you have no options but to keep searching and trying.

Chiefs trade Alex Smith to washington
davspo replied to Castellar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's not a bridge quarterback if he's making that kind of coin
