  1. It is the typical Pats Offense, with a rookie QB for the first time since…. Bledsoe. The pats I still expect to win 10-12 games mostly because of the D. oh most importantly, the Pats should have a top end O line.
  2. This is still The Bills division. Jones will take his lumps this year and I am excited for the year..
  3. I have a feeling he was cut because he didn’t want to be a backup. He has always said he was not worse than 32 other QBs in the NFL.
  4. I said the AFC East Coach’s not jut NE. I started it because I heard it on Cowherd show, wanted see what people thought.
  5. Heard this on Cowherd, and I have to say I agree. The Jets rookie QB and coach will have it harder here because of who else is in the division. Buffalo - Your HC actually turned the culture around and has probably a top 4 team in the NFL Miami - Flores has amazed me at least, at how far he has gotten Miami in just 2 years. The Culture there is changing as well. New England — A lot will argue BB is the GOAT of HC, most will say he is the best HC right now. He did pretty good last year with a JV squad that talent level was almost last in the NFL. so do you guys agree the AFC East has the toughest group of HC.
  6. No they haven’t been. They actually pulled Jimmy G back before the draft. The Pats were supposedly close to getting him. That was before they got Jones so now they would have to wait till someone is desperate.
  7. A SB QB v a QB that was a Bust in Chicago? Hmmm let me see which one would be easier to sell to the fan base… hmmm lol
  8. Mid season it be like 12 million… very easy to manipulate the cap space for that. Not according to every stat site I could find. They say 38-12, but that’s moot. He also has a HC who tries put a square peg into a round hole, a good coach calls a game to his teams and QBs strengths.Yes I think Shanahan is a meh coach. (I mean he was responsible for two of the largest collapses in the SB history)
  9. I say a team will do it. They always do! Always one team out there make that crazy trade… especially if there starter goes on IR early and they have SB dreams. mind you time will tell, because I am 95% sure Jimmy G is on a new team before the deadline this year. I also don’t see any other WB of his caliber being offered…
  10. He is 38-12 as a starter a .750 win clip. He came in to the 49ers team that was bad and won his first 5 games. Teams want that winner especially if they are that close and lose their star QB for the season. Say like the Cowboys, or Packers, etc. the draft picks mean nothing when your in win now mode.. (Pats we’re that for like 10 years) Heck I bet if he went to NE (and he was healthy) the Pats win 13 to 14 games because he was built for that style O. (Also team only responsible for the prorated portion of his contract)
  11. Should be a fun game to watch! Strength v Strength. I’d say 7 is a good number with that Steelers D. Chances of an upset? 25%
  12. Pats just got a 4th for a RB that can’t stay healthy either.. I could see a team giving them a 1st possibly a 2nd and other compensation as well. as for Lance it seems Shannahan is sold on him after the second preseason game to be his starter or at least all the talking heads up here believe that. Thus when some top QB goes down on a good team they may just give them the farm for Jimmy G who if you look at their winning percentage is like .700 as a starter. ( I don’t see the same team doing the same for MT )
  13. The 49ers have the top backup in the NFL with Jimmy G. A former SB QB who just wins when he plays no matter what team that is on. They will get a kings ransom when they finally decide to trade him. there is a reason why MT was available for 2.5 million. No one else wanted him.
  14. BB had a LONG dry spell where his drafts were pretty bad. I would say the last 2 are looking good, especially the sophomore class which got a TON of playing time last year like Dugger at Safety, and Uche at LB.. as for this trade getting a 4th for a player who has been injury prone since his rookie year and who was probably going to get cut seems like a good haul. BB may riff on draft picks but unlike a lot of other coaches he seems quicker to admit when he made a bad pick.
  15. I agree about how lose the helmet was on. That flew right off. I see Smith bending his head but it’s towards fields not away. (Obviously IMO). Mind you if that had been Allen receiving the exact same hit I dare say 90% on this board would be calling for a huge suspension of whoever did the hit. Now I don’t think he meant to light him up like that (helmet to helmet) and if I was a Bears fan I’d be just as angry at the lack of O line protection. (I don’t think anyone touched The Bills guy on the way in)
  16. I just don’t believe in Jackson as a QB he relies way way to much on his feet. I could be wrong though.
  17. I’ve watched that video 5 times and Fields never even saw him coming! He never lowered his head and the hit was high and reckless. That get you suspended in the regular season.
  18. How I see it: Baltimore — going regress more as people have figured out Jackson is just a running QB. (8-9 record they are swept by Cleveland and Pitt) Dolphins - Regress as Tua struggles a lot and takes his bumps (7-10) Chargers — O still excels but their D still stinks and 1 great pass rusher still doesn’t change that but they improve because of their QB. (10-7) Pitt — starts hot as usual but falls fast ends the year with a 9-8 record Cleveland - Wins the division with a 12-4 record KC — is the Alpha again of the AFC with a 15-1 record. Vegas — D is meh and oh is meh.. they lose games they shouldn’t (5-12) Colts — find out their new QB truly sucks and they lose a lot, people are shocked but they will have a top 3 draft pick. Bills — barring injury they should roll to the 2 seed I say probably 13-4 maybe 12-5.
  19. Lol you were not the only person say something like that. also isn’t that what I said “Trubisky can do the job if Allen gets injured”. also I totally disagree on Trubisky just because that man shrinks when it’s crunch time. There is a reason he is a backup.. but hey it’s ok to disagree.. My point is simple. with Trubisky you lose to the Pats and Dolphins at least once each. Both D are just to good and he is to mistake prone to not expect that to continue.. (Assuming Tua takes a normal step and Jones is under center for NE.) I am biased I see Jones being the second best QB in the division and I don’t expect him to start week 1 lol..
  20. Did you see the talent level on the 2000 Patriots? I saw it ranked from 30 to 32 in talent… and BB still got that scrub of a team to 7-9 and they lost 2 or 3 games that they just shouldn’t have. Now with Talent and hopefully competent QB Play they could win 10 to 12 games maybe.
  21. There are a few on here who think Trabisky could do the job if Allen is injured. I 100% disagree. I also think the Bills be good without Diggs but not SB good.
  22. I agree, but with both your a SB contender. That’s why I consider it derailed. The only question I have is what Defense shows up for the Bills.
  23. Not lose a game, lose one of your two best players in Diggs or Allen. Sorry I should know better than to write something half asleep lol. I don’t think it’s outrageous to say that would derail the season, just like if KC loses Mahomes or Kelce their season is derailed..
  24. I have faith in Jones, I think he could manage the O fine and keep from making the big mistake while taking advantage of any turnovers the D gets. this team is built a lot like 2001 team for the D to win games and for the O not to screw it up with bad turnovers. (In other words I see Jones being able play like Brady did in 2001, Brady wasn’t the week one starter for us that year either lol) I know the Pats can beat the Chiefs, hell the should have last year! The Bills are the only team in the AFC that I am unsure of and that’s because of the Allen and Diggs connection. The Bills lose either one for any reason and your season is derailed big time! Stevenson isn’t going anywhere, he was a 3rd round draft pick this year.. the Pats draft LOOKS like it is going be very good this year!
  25. He has looked great in practice to and has actually out performed Newton. I wish people stop comparing a 5th round bust to a kid who went 15th overall and lead a team to a national title. Will he be great or good? No one knows but he looks damn good right now. Will he mess up? Of course! All rookies do!
