What Patriot fan is saying that? I know I am not, as I have said previously I came into this year figuring the Bills win the division and the Pats would be in the playoff race with between 9 to 11 wins. (said this before the season started) Now do I think the Pats can beat the Bills? Yes. Will it be easy? No.. As I stated in this thread I believe any outcome will not shock me especially since both teams have played terrible games (Jags, Texans) and also played at high levels (KC, Dallas)..

Very well said. Add in 2 of the losses the Pats have came against SB Favorites and they both came down to the very last minute or OT and the Pats to the talking heads look amazing. Oh and we wish we had faced NO as toothless as you guys just faced them.. I say NO = Cleveland. (Except you didn’t even get their starting Qb lol) question for you if you guys had faced TN back then as weak as we did, do you think there is a chance the Bills don’t show up like they did in that game. In other words play as if they should just win because they shows up? (That’s not an insult I’ve seen a lot good teams do it threw the years)

My point was simple. When your RB actually touch the ball 20 times a game your team appears to win, when they don’t based off the last 4 games your team does not win. I hate QB designed runs, unless you have Jackson who isn’t really a good throwing QB.. running should always be the last resort because it opens them up to injury and harder hits. Yes that MY OPINION..

No, I mean by the second game any hope for a playoff run or anything substantial was gone.. The was no real reason outside of personal pride to give much push. In other words they wanted tee time and not kickoff time lol. Did I say something about the first game? (Sorry getting over Covid) if I did I shouldn’t have last year has no impact on this year. if I am honest I am shocked the Pats have been as good as they have been this year. I expected a playoff run, I never expected them be challenging the Bills for the division. Like you any outcome won’t shock me either. Again my main hope is both sides avoid major injuries so the playoff push for both teams continues.

I’ve watched the game twice. They were always sending 5 or more every on every play. It was more to run stop but 5 or more is a blitz.. also as I mentioned they punted ONCE. If you sell out for one thing it opens up others. That’s why the Pats switched to a heavy screen passing game. One game isn’t a trend but the game plan by the team. That’s why I asked I doubt be the same game plan for Buffalo.

Last year the D had given up. We had Cam “I can’t throw anymore” Newton and an O incapable of doing anything. This year they ALL seem to feel it and think the group is special. Pats also had a rag tag group by the final meeting. that said new year and no one knows what will or could happen. I just want no major injuries to derail either teams playoff hopes.

I also said take Allen out of the equation for runs. Your team ran Jags -9 times jets -21 times Colts - 11 times NO - 24 times You noticing what I am Hapless? When your team runs you win, when you don’t you lose. Mind you Jets are awful and NO O was beyond inept but still you ran you won.. the team was balanced, when it wasn’t the team was not and lost. Again I was never saying you can’t run just that the Bills for whatever reason never stick with it and against good teams, especially in the playoffs, will come back to bite them hard especially against a well coached team like NE. I will say this now if you run less than 15 times (not counting Allen) on Monday night the Bills will lose. I’m a Pats fan, I was talking about Jo Juan Williams and another CB that I think was cut.. but yet we have Jones and Jackson as starters and both undrafted was weird how they found them but wigged badly on second rounders..

1. That Hilliard run at the end of the half was a hiccup. They were expecting a pass and the Titans blocked amazingly well. Inexcusable but was also the last points they scored. 2. Yes the Pats run D was scary bad yesterday. Does Buffalo have the patience and or O line to do the same thing? 3. The Titans were blitzing all game and the Pats only punted once. Not sure if their D game plan is one to follow. 4. Did you watch the same game? Come the second half their D was worn down and Pats O started breaking big plays on both running and passing. They had 9 literally on the line stop the run. 5. I don’t know what your basing that on? Did you break down all 12 starts? The last 2? How did you get that breakdown? No snowing, wasn’t enough to accumulate but it was snowing.. had snow flurries all game.

Stevenson is also a bigger threat to catch the ball as well. My biggest fear with both of them is picking up the blitz. They both earlier in the year almost got Jones killed by missing the blitzer. (I think every team worried about that with their backs or at least one back lol) oh if only we had White for this game.. he make Jones even better.. (like Your White on IR for the year

sigh another “averaging .5 yards more a carry” while forgetting you run 1/3 as much as the other team. Also forgetting that Allen has almost as many yards as your #1 RB. I mean you are smarter than everyone else (every talking head) who states the Bills are a one trick pony and rely way to much on Allen to bail them out. Does that mean you can’t run? No just that either Allen or your OC refuses to stick with it even when it was working. Don’t believe me look at the stats.. remove Allen scrambles and your team averages less than 10 carries a game.

Bills vs Pats: “pound for pound” teams analysis
PatsFanNH replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had 2 punts blocked early this year, I do believe one went for a TD. DL — I as a Pats fan am nervous about the run after yesterday. They got gashed and if it wasn’t for TO the game is a lot closer. WR - hands down not even close Buffalo TE — Knox and Henry are a push and Jones is definitely better than your second TE. -
Dugger is a safety, I forget which one but his official position is that. Beasley will probably have Mills (Ugh) or the kid they promoted from practice squad when Jonathan Jones got hurt. hmm funny Pats have 3 Undrafted CB who are damn good but we drafted 2 CB in the second round who can’t get on the field.. lol makes no sense.. ( sorry thinking out loud lol)

I would add a seven for Bills fans. 7. Must stop the run. if Stevenson and Harris are averagjngb5 yards a carry it will be a long day for the Bills. 8. RUN THE DAMN BALL! last year your O was so good because you had the ability do everything, this year, so far the Bills are a one trick pony. Thus why so many here feel it’s off.

11/28 Football: Tennessee @ New England 1 pm on CBS
PatsFanNH replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dude! Who cares? They destroyed a NO team that beat us and picked off Jones 3 times and we destroyed TN that they lost to by going for it on 4th down. Neither TN or NO were anywhere near the same strength as the ones that won earlier in the year. It really doesn’t matter the East will be decided the next 3 weeks if either takes both it’s their division to lose, if it’s a split it all depends on how Buffalo did against TB. If they lost then they need Pats lose one, if they won they just need win out. -

Colts lost too. So they still have a 2 game lead and the head to head as well. So they need lose 3 and Colts win out.. I don’t see that happening the Titans are to well coached and some of their players will return. -
Wow! Such an intelligent post. First yes obviously he played on Monday night since he won the National Title. Hate? Pfft that’s not hate that’s simple fear. Another fears is more? Probably the Jets, I know the Colts have an inferiority complex as well. Word of advise don’t attack posters personally it’s immature and can get you a time out by the mods. I won’t report you but please try to stay civil at least. I mean it is only a game.. I know win or lose my life doesn’t change any. FYI I am not saying they can’t stop the run, it’s they have to do that first.
-
Again with the crowd noise and big game? This isn’t a rookie from west Illinois state, this is a QB who won the national title with Alabama and went to extremely loud stadiums. Now you may be able to confuse him, but the Bills will have to stop the run first. Because if they don’t they will run it down the Bills throat all game.
