Yes, the Pats boards are filled with such homers that daring to say something like.. “The Pats run D scares the hell out of me it’s so bad” will make you trolled and depending on the board maybe even banned.. As you can see I’ve been here for roughly a decade or so.. I try hard to not troll, and during Pats week(s) I cheer for my team and will post even more..

You have beaten? KC when they were playing horrid and no one else.. NO ONE! Pats beaten Cleveland, (45 points on a good D) Chargers and hung with Dallas (at full strength) and Tampa Bay. The last two within the first 5 games with a rookie QB.. I dare say Chargers, Dallas,Tampa, Cleveland a lot tougher than your schedule of Jags, KC, TN, and Indy. Allen is the better QB, but also the more likely to make a mistake. Why? Because your O throws on average 40+ times a game which is double what Mac will throw. We are.. depends on my dads health. (Parkinson’s makes it day to day)

Your vaunted O put up how many points against the Jags and Colts? Heck it only put up 10 points with 2 INT in the first half against an injury riddled NO. It’s going be fun game.. but please yoir O been feasting on bad teams. meanwhile Harris is 10th in total yards, and Stevenson is a coming up rookie, who looks damn good. Are they Taylor? Nope, but again different styles.. they are hammers while Taylor makes you miss. Your D against decent running teams so far? 0-2… oh you stopped the 3rd string NO RB.. wow.. cool. ..

Your right… they are much harder to bring down while Taylor just makes you miss.. two totally different styles but both will make Bills D look SOFT. I think BB main plan is to keep Allen off the field and pound the football down the Bills D throat like Indy did.

Hey Steve is great for a laugh whenever they go to him! The faces he makes are hilarious… mind you I don’t think either him or Mayo are calling D plays anymore I think BB is doing that. Also isn’t everyone a bit banged up at this point I think BB puts everyone down even if it’s super minor..

It was barely raining for the Tampa game and most up here felt they should have gone for it on 4th and 3 because 55 seconds is to much to give Brady. oh Good luck with them without your top CB. Brady will pick on whoever the newcomer is whenever they decide to stop running on Buffalo. The Cowboys had ALL their WR and also had a scary run game.. The Pats took them to OT and again lost because Bill didn’t go for it on 4th and 3. (Mind you was also PI not called but anyways) mind you Dallas at full strength like that would Destroy Buffalo. NO you beat up on a team missing both their starting RB, and what’s Buffalo weakness again? The run.. add in incompetent QB play and Allen escaped the first half without being roasted on this board. Also if Stevenson and Harris don’t scare Bills fans after Taylor ran all over them then they don’t pay attention.

Very True, but still wouldn’t been nice see the Bills D stop a good RB. It would prove that last week was the exception not the rule. That and why isn’t Hill playing? There is no way he is worse than Simien who has missed open receivers.

Also missing Kamara and Ingram have your run defense a huge break. Kamara is a game changing player.

First the Pats D in 2001 was top 10. The D last year had a lot of scrubs on it and still did very well. In 2001 he got competent QB play from an unknown, last year he got sub par QB play from a former NFL MVP. The Talent level on 2001 squad was much higher than 2019. Also they would have been .500 with competent QB play either by Newton in just 1 of many bad games he lost, or I don’t know any QB had shown up for the KC game! So while 7-9 sounds bad all fans know coaching with a QB can make simple throws they be 10-6.

Wait? For 20 years BB always built the roster where there was not a huge drop off from the starter to the backup. The reason this worked well especially on the O line is the fact Scar could turn almost anyone into a decent O lineman. The man was the best O line coach ever! But BB rarely paid more for 1 or 2 players..

Hightower may retire, I think Van Noy takes less to stay after his experience in Miami. I Hope they pay Jackson and draft a good CB early in the draft. Collins be gone again as some dumb team offers him way to much again. He got lucky that team was ranked 30th in talent and ended up placing in the middle of the pack record wise last year. IMO that was his best coaching job as a Pats HC.
