The Bills will win if/The Jets will win if....
PatsFanNH replied to mjd1001's topic in The Stadium Wall
That depends on what Rogers shows up. Rogers when motivated is almost impossible to stop, but if Father Time has caught up to him then yes Allen is clearly better.. but if the Jets trail by less than a TD with 2 minutes left and Rogers gets the ball.. I’d be scared if I was a Bills fan.. this is the regular season, he doesn’t pee down his leg till the playoffs! Lol -
Officials allowed the Chiefs to cheat the entire game

Hands to the face I myself give the refs a break on, there is no way you can watch all 22 players at one time.. some thing like that will be missed.. now missing an uncountable amount of false starts and illegal formations.. those are inexcusable. -

Great point! I also think that’s why he destroyed that 3rd and 1 and tackled the RB for a 2 yard loss. -
Chandler Jones is an amazing talent but he has always been well a bit off. The year the Pats traded him he was arrested for being nude and incoherent..
-
Hard tell about Jones. The D did keep a very good Lions O to 21 points, with the Chiefs offense that’s usually good enough!
-
Hmmm and they lost.. also his biggest run setting up the TD the refs asked a blatant block in the back. KC looked bad tonight and their RT got away with lining up incorrectly AND false starting almost all night.

Bill Belichick Officially On the Market

Tsk tsk that was renamed 8 rings… lol (he did rename it he counts the 2 Giant SB as well) -
Was a sloppy night overall.. I think like most QBs Mahomes was uncomfortable without his security blanket in Kelce. I think a few easy passes to Kelse gets him in rhythm and I think tonight he didn’t trust his WR. Oh I could care less about the announcers! (I turn them off for home games) If that was Allen/Burrows heck even Mac Jones that is 100% on the receiver. You have to make that catch!
-
It was an easy catch! A HS WR could catch that! He dropped it because he turned to run before he had the dang ball.. Reid I also think was foolish going for it on 4th and 20.. punt it you have the 2 minute warning and 3 time outs..
-
Hard complete passes when they drop them when the do get open and fail to get open a lot! Again the Chiefs did him bad with this WR group it seems..
-
I THINK he was trying to say the chiefs treat September like an extension of preseason… and the Bills part I have no clue
-
JAGS everywhere but QB and TE for skill position but all the JAGS have to do is catch a ball from the best QB in the NFL right now. I mean they were wide open! The last drop was literally a TD if he holds on to it.
-
Better to rest him and get him at a 100%. If he got hurt worse in this game and missed serious time they be in big trouble! They did a poor job on WR it appears.. but if your going to lose a game better be to an NFC team.
-
It helps he didn’t have Kelce out there tonight. Just shows how important he is to that offense. That and dropped balls and one goes threw a guys hands for an INT. The Chiefs WR look meh to bad tonight, I did like the TE though.

RT gets an early start, Mahomes big run there was an obvious block in the back to spring him..
-
Not after Tua went down! Nope.. everyone expected the Bills to walk all over them.
-
Please reread. I said because they hung with the bills in the playoffs with a 3rd string QB was the reason for the hype.. Most “experts” think with Tua they beat Buffalo. Also FYI if you read it all I said it was flawed logic it logic anyways.. also they had Waddle and Hill 2 years ago and they have I think 2 (maybe 3) more years before cheetah retires. So their window is closing.
-
I myself be shocked if the Pats won. I be very happy if the D played well and the O didn’t look completely incompetent like last year.. lol but I’ll still yell and scream at my TV wanting a win. hmm.. Chargers just seems be a fraud to me. They play just good enough to never make the playoffs and they didn’t get any better this year. But dolphins being 0-1 be nice too..
-
Jets got a (in football years) very old QB, could they strike lightning once like the Bucs did? Maybe but then again the Bucs made it to the playoffs as a wildcard team and they started off poorly till Brady pretty much took over the team culture.. (or at least that what they said) So maybe they tank and Rogers does Roger type things and pouts about it. As for Miami, they are getting the hype, IMO because they hung with the Bills last year with a 3rd string QB.. so all the “smart” talking heads figure with Tua they will be unstoppable. (Flawed logic, but a logic to it as well)
-
As I mentioned the hype started after they did something. They were always overlooked before then. Heck in 2001 I heard all the talking heads saying how the greatest show on turf was going to destroy the Pats like the 85 Bears… second SB we were told they “got lucky” make it.. 3rd one they were hyped up to the hilt.. but damn it took getting their 3 out of 4 years lol get that!
-
The Pats hype at least started after they actually had done SOMETHING! The Jets have done nothing yet.. I think it wasn’t till the 3rd SB appearance(?) that they truly got hyped up..
-
I expect them to sadly be good, but all the fawning by experts saying how they will take the AFCE and ride into the SB is annoying. I have always disliked the Jets the most of any f the East rivals, but God it would be so nice to see them start off the year going 0-4 or 1-3. It starts with your Bills knocking them off in Jersey, followed by games against Cowboys, Pats, and Chiefs.. so 1-3 could easily happen!

Even Brady led teams.. Patriots - Edelman, Gronk, Brady 01-04 Patriots - Brady, Law, Harrison Bucs - the team was just loaded and just needed a QB.

P*triots place projected starting RT Riley Reiff on IR
PatsFanNH replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall
So by your logic, Shula must have been a crappy coach since he couldn’t even win 1 SB with a top 5 QB of all time in Marino. also Allen is the best QB in the East, old man Rogers is the second best followed by Tua and Jones.. in the NFL it’s Mahomes, Burrow, and Allen (with Hurt coming up fast)
