Great post! But can we stop throwing GOT around there are only 2 QBs in that conversation right now and neither of them are playing anymore! (Annoyed me with the announcers for the KC game saying Mahomes is the GOAT. Ugh not yet not even close yet.)

More than likely “Allen is back” or “Allen is God” but if he has a meh or bad game the sky is falling!!

The talent level on the Bills is better than NE right on offense at least? (I don’t think anyone would disagree here on that fact) Well I’d dare say Allen with the Pats this year with O’Brian as OC and BB would not only win the division they would go to the SB! Again only swapping Jones and Allen nothing else. Why? Because BB and O’Brian would be on him every time he tried to do hero ball.. he probably been benched by BB after the 3rd pick so the fumble never happens.

The atmosphere was DEAD after Rogers went down. That place was as silent as a morgue. Oh and they were up 13-3 at half and no need for hero ball. The truth is Allen just layer a big old fat egg on Monday night. IMO the Jets D either scares him or confuses the heck out of him. It also didn’t help him focusing on 1 receiver, hard see all the others when you just look at one. All and all Allen will probably come out this week and throw for 400 yards and 4 TDS.. he just had a bad bad game all QBs have them..

Lmao what the Bills are only running 1 receiver routes? Look them off like ALL good QBs do. The 2 deep ones ok maybe not another deep route the last one come on? Look around heck maybe you see a better option by LOOKING.

All 3 INT he never took his eyes off the receiver.. All 3! Yes 2 were deeper but he never used his eyes to move the defense.

If your coach has the courage to show him tough love.. yes he will. If he doesn’t? Probably not. Last night was the perfect time show him that tough love..

EVERY QB will go into the Jets game with simple instructions not to turn the ball over.. throw it away/take the sack.. etc. the Jets D is good but they were helped by dumb mistakes like staring down the receiver before throwing the ball.

First, Allen has not reached his ceiling. That said I think he needs a jerk coach. By that I mean one that after seeing him refusing to slide and throwing the 3rd pick sits his ass down and outs the back up in and tells him he is not the hole team and he to has to listen. In other words he needs a BB. This also helps the QB because then the HC is getting flamed in the media and by fans instead of him. Also may take him down a peg or two IF he is not listening.

I went to bed and all the replays I have seen have stunk so all I see is the guy falling in front of him and I never see the leg come up. (So no clue! I went to bed before this)

All QBs have nights like Allen did, yes even Brady. (Usually against Baltimore) That’s when you need your D come up with a big turnover, or WR make a catch he had no reason to be able to grab or just break up the play so it isn’t Intercepted.. Everyone saw Allen was off but no one elevated themselves to help him and the team out. But more importantly they need have his back going forward, realize it was one night and kill it here on out.

Reading defenses from what I have heard and read in regards to Brady at least was watching lots of game film. Seeing their tendencies in certain formations, what they like to do.. what their weaknesses are. Heck I remember one of the former players on TV saying “if your not putting in the same amount of time as he (Brady) is on watching film and tendencies then he is going to torch you every time” . So basically he needs just to watch film to learn to read Defenses better.. (I don’t know if he does or doesn’t but that seems to be the way it’s done)

I did not have a dog in the fight and just wanted a good game. So here are a few observations. 1. Allen LOOKED like he was staring down his receiver on all 3 picks. Odd thing to do and makes it a lot easier for the D. 2. The Bills D played very well considering how many short fields the Jets got in the second half. 3. Every time Allen tan I kept expecting a slide and the slide never came! Seriously though he has to start sliding, you would think seeing Rogers get hurt early made that click for at least this game 4. that Jets D looks scary scary good. 5. Biggest observation is the Bills gave that game to the Jets. I don’t think I have ever seen Allen play that poorly before and while the Bills D played well they made no big play to help out the struggling O in the second half. 6. I can only imagine the amount of broken TVs in Buffalo after the punt return TD. All said RELAX! Allen is a top 3-4 QB in the NFL, he won’t have many if any other games like this again. The Bills will be fine and probably end up AFCE Champs again.

RELAX! first the game isn’t over, and second it’s only one game! No one thinks the Be gals are done after getting smashed by the Browns.

I agree, I’d say Wilson is making less mistakes than Allen.. which is so shocking!

I can’t watch the game but any update on how bad Rogers injury is? I read he is being carted to the locker room?

Jets are already SB favorites with some experts.. I think a win tonight just keeps the Bills firmly as the team to beat in the East. A loss puts you with KC and Cincy.. aka no big deal it’s 1 game on the road.. (unless it’s a blowout then people may be concerned)

I was shocked how well the O line did today. Only 2 sacks. BB gave up 3 potential points going for it on 4th down..

Lol no moral victory, last year going down 16-0 The final score been like 44-3.. I was just glad to see some fight in the team.. and the D looks good against a good QB for the first time in like 3 years? Next week going be probably another L because it will take a heck of a performance by the D just to keep the Phins in the 20’s.

Boutte hurt the Pats today, he has to learn to put both feet in. Pats D played lights out most of the game only giving up 12 points.. (I blame the O for 13 of the points) Jones bounced back after a HORRID 1st Quarter and put up some nice numbers and made throws when he had to. (He also got away with a few bone head throws as well) overall I think they would have won today if Parker was playing instead of Boutte. Good luck tomorrow Bills fans!
