  1. I still say if the Bills D is that hampered by 3 players being out they need to adapt to a bend but don’t break type Defense. Make the teams take long drives to beat you and guard against the big plays.. most teams will shoot themselves in the foot.
  2. They lead the league on salary cap IR? Maybe but I’ll just take my Pats D missing Judon, Gonzalez, Jonathan Jones, Uche, and Marcus Jones. All starters on D our top 2 corners, and our top 2 Pass rushers and our Swiss Army knife in Marcus Jones who probably takes that 1 long punt return (that ended in a FG) to the house. Pats D still been playing well (Minus Dallas and Saints game) and if they had a competent O the Team probably be 4-3 or more likely 5-2 even with those injuries. Right now your O is the 3rd highest scoring O in the NFL. Behind only Miami and the 49ers.. but yet they are to blame for the losses. Lol Umm I have only made 2 threads this week. The other saying the bills be fine.. which they will be if your Coach can stop the bleeding on D. Your Bills won’t beat anyone if the D keeps giving up 29 plus points a game to bad Os . You only have a few more left before the good Os arrive on your schedule.
  3. Omg! It’s 3 people down.. The Pats O line has been a MASH unit all year. Brown, Onwenu, and Strange were back but no where near a 100%. Heck Brown got reinjured during the game but came back in for the final drive. But your D missing 1 lineman and that’s why the Pass rush just vanished.. BUT it’s ok to expect your O to score a TD on practically every drive they got in the first half. That’s just not sound logic.
  4. It was hyperbole. The last 2 games you faced the 2 worst O in the league, the Bills got lucky to come out 1-1. Yes they only gave up 9 points to the giants but again almost blew the lead in the final seconds. This week you face the 27th ranked O in Tampa Bay. Mayfield isn’t elite but he has time he has a lot more scary weapons than NE does.
  5. Giving up 29 points to the worst O in the NFL isn’t hanging in it’s letting go and being splattered against the wall. I mean even on the last drive they gave up a HUGE play to start the drive off. All they needed to do was make Jones drive down the field and make him either make a mistake or at worse settle for a FG. Instead Stevenson rumbles for 30 yards? (Almost getting the Pats into FG range) They had a hard time staying in receivers who couldn’t get separation all year.. imagine what will happen with Evans on Thursday, or Higgins and Chase when you have the Bengals. You had no real pass rush. I think the Bills even tried blitzing and still failed to get home. Point is the Bills O could score 35 moving forward and the D as it is playing now will give up 40.
  6. Umm to win Sunday they needed to score 30 points.. the Pats got 29
  7. I may be spoiled but BB would have them do the bend but not break routine waiting for the other team make the mistake. Most teams will.
  8. I get that! But expecting an offense, even a great offense, to score 30 points to win a game is asking a lot of them. The D is injured, but they had the LEAD with less than 2 minutes to go.. facing a frankly BAD O. They couldn’t stop a bad O. What’s going to happen when the Bills face not only very good O’s but also very good D’s like Dallas and Philly. I mean Sundays Bills D wouldn’t stop Mahomes once and they pull off what the Bills did to NE a few years ago and score TDs on every drive.
  9. That’s just fans over roasting, as most fans do. Should hear the screams for BB to fire up here still even after the win.
  10. I am really confused by this. The Offense did start off slow but: 1. scored 25 points against a team that was 0-24 when a team gets 24 or more points. 2. Got a 3 point lead with I believe 1:54 left in the game. All the bills D had to do was stop the worst scoring O in the NFL from getting a TD in order to not lose the game. 3. Yes the Bills D has a lot of injuries on it, but hello! The Patriots have the worst O and they gave up 29 points to them, more than doubling their normal output. 4. The Bills D per numerous sources only got 22% pressure on Jones who up until Sunday was the most pressured QB in the NFL. My point? The Bills D would worry more a heck of a lot more than the Bills O because if they gave up 29 to the worst O what will they give up to teams like Dallas,KC, and Philly? Your O be fine, even sleep walking through a half they still managed 25 points.
  11. That was click bait, he literally came to the conclusion that firing Reid would be stupid.. Since he got Mahomes, the only QB that has stopped him was 1… Tom Brady 3-0 against him in the playoffs. So any fan calling for the coaches head when the only QB/team was the GOAT that stopped them is silly.
  12. It’s amazing how Bills fans are so focused on the Offense. Your O even though started off slow scores 25 points. Why is that significant? The Patriots were until Sunday 0- 25 when the other team scores 24 or more points in a game. Mac Jones has never led the team back in the 4th quarter in 3 years.. (not all his fault but the QB gets credit and blame) You almost lost to the Giants and their backup QB because your D couldn’t stop their O late in the 4th quarter and you were a PI call away from possibly losing. Right now the Bills have a defense problem more than an offense problem.
  13. Umm Andy Reid was always chastised for not being able to win the NFCC Game. He would get there and lose every time he got there, he finally gets over that hump and loses to NE in the SB. They never said that about him in KC. Matter fact people thought he over accomplished with Smith. So I disagree with saying he was similar to the Bills Coach criticism. He had post season success.
  14. Really it was his fault his QB was dumb and tan the ball to end the half? Or his fault an obvious PI wasn’t called? I mean he had his backup 1 play away from beating the Bills..
  15. I will go with: Bills 19 Bucs 17 All FG drives but it’s enough for a Bills win.
  16. The eye test disagrees with the “longest time to throw” stat. I’m not saying it’s wrong but it felt like Baremore was getting into the backfield on almost every snap. Allen broke like 3-4 potential sacks with his strength on Sunday and scrambled away from pressure a lot as well.
  17. No difference? The Patriots averaged 12 points on O, the WORST O in the NFL. They scored 29 against the Bills. Jones only had pressure on him (per bleacher report) 22% of his drop backs while Allen had it 52% of his drop backs. Now does the loss mean the Bills are doomed? Heck No! It does mean they need to fix some things before they hit the truly hard part of their schedule. the next 4 games are Bucs, Bengals, Chargers, Jets. They need go 3-1 at least, because the Next 4 are Eagles, Chiefs, Cowboys, and Chargers. That’s a tough stretch right there. All 4 will be tough on any Defense.
  18. I would say the O line is a major issue, Allen was pressured on almost 50% of his drop backs by a d line that has struggled to get pressure since Judon and Uche went down.
  19. Except Purdy has more weapons than Allen and a D better than Buffalo. I think the 49ers are the best team right now in the NFL.. but any given sunday
  20. Also to put less stress on their backup QBthat they will have in all year.
  21. Their D is still not as good as SF. They lose to them in the NFCCG game and Hurt has 3 TO.. calling it now lol
  22. The Pats could say the same thing about their D. They were missing their top 2 pass rushers in Judon and Uche, had their top 2 corners out as well in Gonzalez and Jonathan Jones. If both D’s are healthy it’s a much lower scoring game and probably a lot more turnovers on both sides.
  23. I believe since it was a forward pass it is considered ok.. but don’t quote me on that.. like I said the refs were to involved both ways.
  24. It shouldn’t be possible if any of those 3 were suppose to cover Bourne.
  25. One difference is Murray and the Pats defender hit hard and knocked the defender down. These Henry at least made an effort to make it look like he was trying to put into a route.. 3 people shouldn’t be able be blocked by 1 guy. I looked at it and it felt like all 3 were tying cover Henry. The last guy should have been on Bourne at least and he either released slowly or blew the coverage.
