That is probably very true, I was 16 so I didn't notice that much. But I don't think the SB helped him at all.. I remember the next year he just started yurt king even with no one around him.. He was shell shocked from the Bears treatment.

LeGarrette Blount / helmet rule
PatsFanNH replied to mikemac2001's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lol umm that player he mentioned is NOT a Patriot. I don't think they have called that new rule much if at all. But also makes the rules confusing for the RB am I 3 -5 yards out am I between the tackles.. ( a sweep be obvious but up the middle like Blount runs 90% of the time is harder) -
I visit all of them. I like here the best, outside of NE week I am usually not well yelled at or told stick a tool somewhere lol.. The worst is gang green , if they could actually go like a 2 post without dropping the f bomb I be shocked. And Phin heaven can be funny but anytime I talk there somehow their undefeated season always gets mentioned lol

The steelers have been successful since the 70's... The Packers been Owned by GB and also always successful.. And noticed they all were premier teams to start the NFL. B(GB,Dallas,Pitt) as for fair weather fans.. Carolina comes to mind, as do the Falcons to name a couple. Yes a Baseball town first and I will admit we are hard core Bruins fans as well.. But look how long those teams been here.. Talking over a 100 years of history for both of them and the Celtics also go way back. The Pats are the young whipper snappers lol..

Not really because we started selling out the moment Kraft bought the team. Now do we have a LOT of bandwagon fans.. Well duh! yes so do any other successful franchise. That takes dedication, and Bostonians know something about that too.. Say 86 years.... And Chicago has you beat as well with over 100 years being a Cubs fan.. Those fans got dedication..

Let's see how things go after BB and Brady retire. There was never a reason for the fans to actually support the Pats in the Past. Like I said the organization was God awful. They drafted poorly and when they got one right they traded 9-10 times. I was a fan and sat in the stands as a kid with my dad, and teenager where I met a lot of other teams fans.. The Bills were the best of the bunch as in they tailgates and were not jerks about kicking our teams ass... ( the Jets were the worse even at the stinker bowl when we all wanted to lose for Bledsoe..)

Greg Hardy arrested for drug possession

😳😳😳😳 this is a bad joke.. Right? Guy is a mental midget I'll admit but that's harsh. Sad really how he derailed a very promising career. -
Lol he isn't just Brady's he has other athletes as well..
-
BB will not put someone in who would hurt the team.

Followed by the dark lord rising back up and laughing as he dispatches the Bills once and for all.. Banishing them to a perennial 0-16 squad till they find the young Jedi to break the curse.. 😛😏😛😛
-
Which will follow Tyrod throwing 5 picks 2 returned for TDs and the bills lose 17-0 at which at the end of the game the entire second team D gang tackles McCoy hard.. 😛😛😛

I hear ya the old Sullivan stadium was empty almost every week till Kraft bought the team. The Sullivan's were god awful owners that rarely put a good squad out there in their 30 years of owning the team, and when they did I think it was dumb ass luck. I mean they traded Jim Plunkett!! (Face palm)

Well he was at practice today throwing the football. A huge improvement from last Wednesday when he couldn't even lift his arm up.

If I had a gun to my head I say Jimmy G. He is the best QB available and even by pundents here say 2 weeks was plausible for him be back.

"Experts" Picks week 4 versus the Pats
PatsFanNH replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I know Hightower been out with a knee the last 2 games. -
Lol Does Grogan count since he played in the first SB and I do believe Eason started the next year as well. Tony Eason was ruined by that SB, he had a lot of promise but became shell shocked after the Bears SB. I remember the Raymond Berry song that year lol.. Also technically Zolak was a starter for a game along with I think Miller in 92.. Also your question should also depend on the age of the fan your talking to. What 30 year old is going to know much about anything before Parcells?

Getting back to the original post, I do believe it depends on who is playing. As an example: The NFL loves the Pats in prime time because: A. NE fans will watch B. Other fans will watch because they hate the Patriots. I at times believe the NFL makes crap up to make them a bigger villain just to keep people watching them. And for a long time as the White Hat they had Indy and P Manning (then it went to the Broncos) I am not sure who the ultimate GOOD guy is now. But I think you get my drift, I don't think they rig games but they influence people's opinions about teams to get them to watch more than just their home team

An expansion team inToronto would make sense, they are huge in CFL. But the Bills need be in Buffalo... It's tradition.
