  1. If you look just at Denver game YESTERDAY.. The QB had no time and he had 3 drops from Thomas alone (not counting the 4th down drop where McCourty separated him from the ball) as well as at least 3-4 other drops. And outside of that poor decision on that INT he played very well.
  2. Let's play that game, Wilson was an OK QB. I say fair when they won the SB. If he was taking over just now with no running game? Yes he would probably suck! He was able to develop thanks to Beast mode being there so with there inability run this year I say that would kill a first year starting QB. (Or even in last year) Then I feel you have not watched the Broncos . Their woes are less QB related and more O line and drops related. (Thomas killed them yesterday with his drops.)
  3. I may have misunderstood what you said then. If Denver had Buffalo Oline but everything else was Denver's? I say they win that game and heck I'll go out and say they maybe have 2 losses all year. You don't draft a QB to replace a man your paying $20 million a year for 2 years either. They knew Brock was a project, mind you I think Lynch is a bigger project.
  4. Umm Osweiler never came close to the field till last year, so there sure wasn't a NEED at QB when he was drafted. (And 4th round QB are a shot in the dark)
  5. The Bills don't have that D. The Broncos Secondary is just amazingly good and their front 4 down right scary.. the only weakness is LB. The Bills, outside of Watson, don't have any WR close to Sanders and Thomas. (Although Thomas yesterday dropped a beautifully thrown pass)
  6. Not disagreeing, just saying Marrone does make sense as the short term HC in Jacksonville.
  7. I do, the fact you don't know that Ernie wasn't in his current role till the last "puppet master" left for KC and well guess what that one flamed out to. BB genious isn't in finding talent fit his system. (He is good at that) but rather 2 different things: 1. Adapting the system to fit the players talents. BB was a 3-4 guy but now uses 4-3 reg among other things on D as an example. 2. He isn't married to his high draft picks. If you suck for a 2 years you are gone if no improvement inbyear 3. Numerous examples of this just on D. BB the COACH makes BB the head of Ops and GM look smart.
  8. He has looked AWFUL in limited time, but again their Online is awful on Simmiens isn't the reason for the losing. Is he a Superstar? No is he average and good enough to win with THAT defense? Yes, sadly that O line couldn't protect for crap.
  9. I think he would be the logical choice as well since he has HC experience and was somewhat successful.
  10. Lol except Denver problem isn't at QB. If you watched yesterday's game you saw Thomas drop 3-4 balls and an O line that just sucks beyond belief. I see Elway going out and stocking up on O lineman this offseason if he doesn't he could have the GOAT at QB and still lose.
  11. Lmgdao BB is the head of football ops. So no Ernie is not the puppet master, not even close.
  12. I think most will tell you that wouldn't matter as long as the Emperor BB is in NE, the empire will stand.. lol
  13. In her defense she may have had to listen to him gloat during the Kelly years and is just loving the pay back lol... Anyone who is married knows, a woman NEVER FORGETS!
  14. Lmao, yes but Yoda was a Jedi Master... BB is the Emperor, he would enjoy burning it to the ground.. lmao
  15. I say 2 years, in 2001 he was a real game manager. His play was thatof "if it isn't there throw it away and let the D Handle it" it Was either 2002 or 2003 where he blossomed.
  16. I agree 100%. Can someone just tell me why? With the way the wether was it was obviously a ground and pound type game. And more importantly why didn't they focus on Bell Like the entire second half??
  17. Only if you took him now, I don't know if any of your past coaches would have stuck with him and gave him time to develop. I mean he was on the bench in year one, year two, I will say it he was a game manager and allowed the D to win most of those games. (He just didn't screw up) he became great (IMO) in 2003. And he became great because of great coaching allowing him to develop. I think Marv Levy would been able do it, but I am hard pressed to see what HC after him would have been.
  18. Yes they will as a wise n on Sunday locks up at least the #2 seed but if both Oak and KC lose I THINK that locks up the #1 seed.... (but I am not 100%sure on that one ) See IMO your QB, while an issue isn't as bad asyour coaching. How Rex and Rob ALLOWED Bell to get almost 300 total yards on O by himself is completely unacceptable and it isn't an isolated incident. IMO Buffalo biggest issue is finding a coach build with so far.
  19. NE gets the benefit because they have been winning for so long and EVERYONE considers the Emperor a absolute Genious! Lol Sadly even Bill fans think your FO is run by I think someone here said "Bozo the clown"? So almost any move is looked as desperate now.
  20. Pats have taken Floyd... that makes me very happy.. they needed another WR and he should fit in nicely for the short term he is here. (Def better than our ST ace trying go out and play WR lol) Think Floyd is happy be going from AZ to the Pats??
  21. That program was turned around by O'Brien when he went there and this guy kept it going.
  22. The hardest one to happen on that list is the Dolphins losing to the Jets, the rest are very Plausable to happen.
  23. No I remember the season well, and I laughed hysterically when the Bills put that tool back in. He SUCKED! And the bills overpaid for him big time. Also dissing the CFL as a silly thing.. geez I'm sorry it's the only other professional FOOTBALL organization on the planet (well that's close to NFL rules) and Flutie won everything there repeatedly so yes if the Bills were not screw ups when he was there you guys would have gone places. Oh and he wouldn't been the first either many came in from outside the NFL lole arena football (Warner) and yes Gugny even some from CFL. (I wanna say Moon)
  24. A lot of talk about Hogan, he is an important piece for the Pats O and shows good awareness (the last TD last night was him and Brady seeing the same thing.) But for the Pats IMO Mitchell is the future star WR.
  25. [quote name="PolishDave" post="4162262" timestamp="1481651876 If Rex was honest and willing to change when he is wrong, then he would have re-implemented the defense that was proven to work much much better with this personnel. Rex is the type of coach that wants to make the players fit his system. That is not the kind of coach you want. You want a guy who creates a system to best use the players he has. If he was truly that good of a coach then he would have realized that Schwartz's defense was superior and he would have copied it. Nothing wrong with trying implement your system as long as you bring players in who can do that. My best example is BB he changed the D and brought over players from the Jets that he liked (who were obviously FA) it took a couple years but by year 2 they were SB champion caliber D
