  1. lol no problem, I know how that works. I was going from my research, where 7 of the last 10 draft classes had a Franchise QB. Mind you that is very subjective based on your definition of a franchise QB.
  2. Even by YOUR math it's a 70% chance a franchise QB could be drafted this year. The odds of drafting said QB is 11%. I actually DID the math!
  3. Brees isn't going anywhere. The Saints need him to sell tickets.
  4. Ok I did the math. Since from 2005 - 2015 there have been 127 QBs drafted, of those QBs 15 are absolute Franchise QBs making it about a 12% chance to draft a Franchise QB. There were 3 drafts with 0 Franchise Level QBs. So using this small sample size imthere is a 70% chance there is at least 1 Franchise QB in this draft.
  5. That was WAY to much math for a Simple equation. The truth is an average is NOT what you just stated. An average is simply this if there are 12 Franchise QBs out of 12 drafts that equals 1 per draft wether it came all in 1 draft class or if it was literally every single class. IMO it should be the number of QB's who are Franchise QB divided by the total number QBs drafted to get your true percentage of getting one.
  6. The QB class is weak this year... why I can see some team being stupid and trading to much for either a broken down old QB (like Roman) or a QB who showed ability to excel in limited action (like Jimmy G. Or the Steelers backup Landry Jones) my gutt says at least one crazy trade for a backup happens during or just before the draft.
  7. lol I expect nothing less I will still be there cheering my cold white butt off for a win. But no matter what I am gonna enjoy the ride as it is getting close to the end.
  8. Got love the media.. run with any stupid story. Although I am shocked Chef (Tomlin) threw him under the bus like he did.
  9. He can make every throw, he is a good QB. I am not sure if he is a special WB but he will probably be an average QB with a good HC. ( the one in ND sucks!)
  10. In all seriousness if they want the refs be better and speed up the game is a simple fix. Make the refs FULL TIME employees so they can learn all the rules and be trained how the NFL wants. This way you will get consistency and a lot less head scratching. I think it is vastly unreasonable to expect a part time employee (who has a full time job) to learn and INDERSTAND every rule the NFL has as well as UNDERSTAND what the intent was behind the rule.
  11. Per Pete Carroll, Sherman was playing with an ACL injury most of the year.. just an FYI
  12. Assessing a penalty for a player complaining about a call or non call is beyond idiotic. These are human beings out there who are emotionally vested. (I hope) they should be allowed to display and argue a bad call/non call.. If you want to speed up the game is simple.. Allow them to play football without having so many ticky tacky rules to enforce.
  13. As the SF owner said "you may want fire the owner but that just isn't how it works, your stuck with me!" With that little smirk on his face makes ya want to slap him.. but the owner wanted Osweiler.
  14. 1996 was the beginning of the wait list for Patriot season tickets. Had a lot to do with Parcells being here.
  15. sorry to hear about your grandma, but sit back and just enjoy the game . Both games this weekend should be an offensive clinic going on. (Now that i said that watch it be 2 defensive show downs lol) I see Atlanta v GB being whoever has the ball last wins type game. While the Pats V Steelers game I expect the Ds to play better than expected and stop eachother a few times, but I could see both Brady and Ben being clutch as well and winning the game on the last drive. (And seem a lot of Bills fans hate Whaley)
  16. Bell is a mismatch advantage for the Steelers vs Anyone. Man is IMO the best RB in the NFL.
  17. Pump the breaks he is light years better than "pick 6" Eli. Also seemed for a long time it was literally Brady, Manning then Big Ben then Back to Brady....
  18. Same is true for Lewis on Pitt LBers. (Read I think on bleacher report where McCoy actually said Lewis was the most talented RB he ever saw maybe even more talented than him. Was said during training camp w the eagles. ) Both these Os are scary good and should be a fun game I just see Big Ben throwing a couple of picks as he has not been as careful this year with the football. (He killed me in fantasy this year.) be interesting to see for sure. The Pats Run D has been very good this year. I thought the biggest miss match were the young Pitt corners on Edelman and Amondola and Hogan.
  19. The NFL loves the Pats going deep into the A playoffs and wee hoping for a Pats V Cowboys SB. The two teams whose prime time games actually exceeded last years. It is easy you to see why though. Everyone HATES the Pats out of NE so they watch to cheer for the other team, and the Cowboys had 2 exciting rookies to watch.
  20. Since 2003 with but 1 exception. (Flacco and Ravens SB) It has been Brady,Peyton, Big Ben every year.
  21. I agree, I just don't see Brady having another Bad game for two reasons. One, the Steelers S front is not half as scary as the Texans D front and their secondary is young. The second reason is it is beyond rare for Brady have 2 bad games in a row. Also a big difference this year is Big Ben has had more than one game where he has been bad, the reason they win isn't him but rather Bell. IMO you stop Bell you stop the Steelers.
  22. Yup was the Cowboys and 49ers before is with that fan base. I am hopeful this long run has increased our fan base from before 1996.
