  1. Ahh another expert judging crowd noise by his TV.... it was loud the entire first half and most of the third.. it was quiet when the game was in hand though. I should know I was actually there after paying a fortune for my tickets lol..
  2. Troy Brown, David Patton, Randy Moss, Bennett (well a TE) should I continue?
  3. I will NEVER understand how going 4-0 is better than going 4-2. I mean the guy is less great because he made the big game two MORE times than Montana or Bradshaw! Also in theb2 losses he had gotten the lead for the team with around 2 minutes to go. I don't know what else a QB can do in those spots... he can't play D! Also Kelly >>>>>>>> McNair and he lost 4 straight SB! The crazy notion that losing a SB makes you less of a great player is just astronomically dumb in my opinion. IMO I hate comparing different eras against eachother as rules, and leagues change. Brady IMO (biased as it is) is the greatest QB in the modern era followed by P. Manning. I think P Manning is LIGHTYEARS Better than his little Bro even though he is 2-1 and Eli is 2-0.
  4. Pitt wasn't helped when the best RB in the NFL, Bell went out in the first quarter either.
  5. IMO Hogan was a perfect fit for NE. He has a high football IQ. (I have seen more than one "great" WR Crash and burn here for not having that.) runs great routes and catches almost everything thrown to him. HOGAN IS BY NO MEANS A #1 WR and is at best an average #2 option, but he is a GREAT 3rd option who can get open deep to open thing up for Edelman, Mitchell, Amondola underneath. People are right that Brady makes him better because his throws are on target and ALLOW YAC, so many QBS throws make it so YAC is all but impossible.
  6. This SB pits the #1 scoring O and D against eachother. It should be a great SB!
  7. Lol yes because this is such an isolated incident... again the steeers main reason for losing is they were outplayed. I will accept losing Bell as a valid excuse as well..
  8. Falcons are my #2 team cheer for in the NFL. I have been following Matty Ice since he played for BC. I be cheering for my Pats but I won't be crushed if the Falcons won it either.
  9. The NFL wanted Patriots v Cowboys.. "the Best vs the Next". Also I find it funny how you say "everyone" is tired of BB and Brady but yet they were one of only 2 teams whose Primetime games actually INCREASED audiences. I think you fail to realize how much a good heal brings in viewers. That's why they wanted the Pats and Cowboys.. sith v Jedi etc.. lol
  10. As a Pats Fan I am glad to have Hogan. He has found his way open on many occasions and always seems to run the right route. He had a few drops this year but nothing to awful. I would not say he is a top tier WR, but I say he is a good/average #2 but a GREAT #3 option. IMO what he lacks in talent he makes up for in effort. I can only imagine how good Floyd would be if he had the effort of Hogan.
  11. First INT was both Floyd and Brady fault. Floyd cut his route short.
  12. (Eye roll) yes because a fire alarm pulled for a game starting at 6:40 PM would make a difference. I will take the flu and Bell getting injured as an excuse but this PLEASE!!!
  13. You do know the Falcons were still passing with a 24 point lead right? And I like the Pats chances against Atlanta, #1 scoring O vs the #1 Scoribg D
  14. Sigh and he has lived three 1 losing season since he was 5 years old.... (fans like this make me sad.)
  15. He should be because a good coach will Platoon him and get the max potential out of what's left. He could have 2-3 good years left.
  16. Except it isn't one season. Eli threwout his career is either good or awful. He is IMO way to inconsistent to be Elite, franchise sure. Also Eli if you watched the games looked ok, but he would strike fear in no good team. He also had a sub par year because just LOOK at the WR talent he had and he did his average. You put Cruz and OBJ with ANY of the other elites and not only do they have career years so does that QB and I dare say they break records. I have never heard ANYONE call Eli Elite. No one has ever ranked him in the top 5 anywhere. So no even last year he was not Elite.
  17. Gugny, How could you put Eli in the ELITE category? He had one of his worst years ever and he has always been a turnover machine.
  18. Hoyer not on the list so was. O need to compare. I think TT is def a game manager, as he will not cost you a game but you really can't expect him to carry the team either.
  19. If Cutler is your QB, the Bills go anywhere from 2-14 to 4-12 next year. Assuming he actually makes it threw the year. Also a lot of blow outs as that man is a turn over machine and confused very easily.
  20. I wouldn't want Tannehill as my QB. Million dollar arm, ten cent teammate and QB smarts. (I personally lost a lot of respect when it came out he yelled at PS CB for daring to intercept him. Meanwhile Brady applauded said actions. Which helped Malcolm Butler become a very good CB, just imagine how Tannahill act effected the CB he yelled at.) I take Taylor as my QB every day and twice on Sunday before Tannahill.
  21. I would put bridgewater in : "too early to know" or the "Next Gen" myself.
  22. Wow! Very impressive.. i have Manning, Rivers, Flacco on the downslope if they have another year like this year. But a great list! And very accurate IMO
  23. I purposely left them out of my post to show the hypocracy of the league IF they let the Hawks slide while hammering other teams on first offenses. I will say it wasn't a big deal but the league has to start showing SOME consistency and the day they do anything more than fine the Jets for their activities is the day after the NFL HQ was cleaned out of old Jet cronies. Oh I firmly believe (aka IMO) if this was BB who did this people be calling for his suspension, multiple draft picks lost, and millions of dollars in fines. And BB has only been caught once violating a rule. (Spygate, even the Wells Report exonerated him on the football thing.) So let's see what Goodell does here..
  24. I like what Woody said this is the FOURTH time the Hawks been caught violating a rule. (2nd time in 3 years) and a 2nd round pick is actually TOO LIGHT. When you consider they took a 3rd and a 6th rounder from Atlanta for tampering and it was a first offense. (meanwhile the Jets got caught doing the same thing w Revis which was a 3rd offense for the same crime and only got fined.. hmm) If the league is serious about punishing multi offenders harder they need prove it now, otherwise it's a bunch of Bull and they just pick and choose who to punish hard.
