Only other thing I wanted to add is you say "2nd round prospect" and I disagree with that assessment solely because you can't go by the class 3 years ago but rather this class. In this class he would have broken the 1st round easily (IMO). Also 3 years ago everyone thought the Pats got a STEAL when they landed him in the 2nd round.

I made my rational for it. Of course that's assuming they feel a need for a QB. If you look at the class for QB JG is a much better QB than all of them when he came out 3 years ago. That said I am happy if the Pats trade or keep him. I don't mind having a damn good backup just in case Brady gets hurt. I also think the media pumping up that the Pats want to trade him, I think they would but not unless it was a damn sweet deal for them. Hell I hear Texans fans saying offer Clowney and a 2nd for him... I have also heard SF wanted him as well...

Hmm that's a good question.. i think Atlanta gave 2 2nds and Swapped 1st round picks for Shaub. That's a HUGE haul of picks and IMO more than just a 1st round pick when you have 2.

Unless you work in the Browns front office, you don't know WHAT they will offer. (Neither do I it's pure speculation.. but seeing as how they gave up a 3rd for Collins in a position a lot less valuable and NOT the face of the Franchise insay they give up #12 pick. I don't know why that sounds awful IMO he is a more known commodity than any of the QBs in the draft and I dare say if he came out this year he been top 5 draft pick. (That's how weak the QB class is.) Again pure speculation on my part too.

I think his point was that everyone points to Cassel going 11-5 as a great accomplishment, but he had the same team pretty much that went 16-0. Oh and they had a very easy schedule to boot.

As a Pats fan I can't deny any of what you said as the number bare it out: 7 SB in 15 years (47% of the time) 11 AFCCG in 15 years (73% of the time) 14 out of 15 division titles (93% of the time) Scary thing is for the AFC in the SB it has been primarily only Brady,Big Ben, and P Manning in the SB since 2005? I think only Flacco went one year. So while the Pats have dominated it's been pretty much controlled by 3 QBs (and 4 teams) for almost 12 years. I don't see how you fix it until the last 2 retire in Big Ben and Brady.

You are absolutely right about him drafting WR, but outside of 1 Miss at RB (in the 1st round in Marjory) the man gotten a lot out of most of their RB he drafted. Ridley, Varren, White quality starters. Cedric Cobbs was a good ST guy.

I think the Falcons fall behind early, they come up to hyped up Miss easy throws and by the end of the first it is 17-0 NE. The Falcons Oncalms down in the second and makes a couple of drives but one stalls and they settle for a FG. The Falcon D is still being surgically taken apart by Brady and at half it is 31-10. Falcons Oncontinued play well in the third and score 2 TD allowing the Pats only one possession but that Posession is also a TD. After 3 quarters 38-24. Pats punt for the first time in the 4th and Ryan has a chance cut the lead to 7 when Ryan cuts in front of Sanu and returns a pick all the way giving the pats the uncermountable lead of 45-24. Ryan leads a 4th quarter drive that eats up 8 minutes of time for a TD making the game 45-31. The onside kick fails and Blount pretty much takes over and runs for 60 of his 100. Yard game in this one 5 minute drive that's caped off by his one yard run for a TD. Making it 52-31. Ryan gets the ball back with like 2 minutes left and runs out of time.. pats win 52-31 what will be the highest scoring SB of all time. Brady wins SB MVP as he throws for 415 yards 4 TDs. (Hey I am a fan I want the Pats win just one in blowout fashion 😂)
