  1. Both Brady and Rogers sat before they played. They are arguably To of the greats at that position right now.
  2. I say No, keepnit Lombardi. Lombardi help make the game what it is today, BB a great coach but Lombardi. Deserves that trophy name.
  3. I never heard that one, but seeing as the headset is turned off 12 seconds left. So duh he heard the Oc During plays.
  4. Faulk -- sore loser who still believes stories been proven false and retracted .. 0 % credibility. Mangini -- has said no such thing and actually. Even groveling get back in BB good graces for years! Tomlin (chef) -- has won Hines constantly since he can not ever seem to beat the Pats 0% cred Shula -- really? Meanwhile Jimmy Johnson, Ditka, along with slews of other former coaches have backed BB up.. but yes I'll Liston to the people have an ax to grind.
  5. Bob Kraft already said that he and BB know his end date. So that tells me it's closer than any of us Pats fans would like. (I know our days is in the sunset portion, but I'll still be in the stands when they say KC as much as they rule now.
  6. There are many different ways to develop a Young QB. The key is to identify the one that you feel will be a Franchise QB. So the key to developing a Young WB is having the scouts who will identify the QB that will thrive in YOUR System, because every QB is a system QB. So if your a run first team IMO you need find a WB great at PA and able to hit the quick slants over the middle.
  7. KC should be noncommittal to Andy Reid. Man is a great Regular season coach but whenever the bright lights of the playoffs hit him he wilts.
  8. One thing I have learned is worry about your own team first. The Bills have talent and for whatever reason really didn't playbupnto that talent on D. Also the schedule looks very hard but you don't know how a team will look when you face them. A good example is would you have thought the Bills had a chance week 4 in NE this year?
  9. Very True, the wild card is Jimmy G is a local boyfor the Bears, and per CSNNE Jimmy G. Is a top priority for them so they may go full on dumb and offer up a lot to get him. (They are also probably the best team of the three as well, their D is decent and they found a good young RB last year so adding Jimmy G and retaining their star WR could make them a playoff team in their eyes.)
  10. Funny thing is Cleveland doesn't hold all the cards, the Pats do. They have at least 3 suitors that they would trade Jimmy G to and Cleveland probably the #3 choice so they have to make a sweet deal to get him. (If you think he is going be good you ship him to the NFC so Chicago and SF front runners.. kind of funny how the top 3 teams in the draft are interested.tells you what they think (if true) of this draft class for QBs.)
  11. This is all speculation on everyone's part. I am shocked no one here started a thread about what Robert Kraft said to the media yesterday about BB and I am paraphrasing "He knows his end date and I know his end date" meaning when he is planning on retiring so if he is planning on retiring in say 4 years you trade Jimmy G. Now for a high draft pick that can help next 2-3 years with Brady and if you win 1 or 2 more SB you pretty much set the standard for HC in the NFL.
  12. Supposedly the teams interested (per our local talking heads): SF,Chicago,Cleveland,Texans,Jets. 8 know I forgot one other team they mentioned, I think it is safe to say the Jets have 0% chance getting him in a trade. (BB hates them the most) and I doubt he would give the Texans their missing piece to a championship bubble. So it's down to SF,Chicago and Cleveland.
  13. Really? Manning top 10 ALL TIME! Romo not even on the same playing board as Manning. Manning had 1 injury (a serious one) while Romo has broken the same bone 2 times in the last 2 years along with other injuries threwout his career. I think he has played 1 full season in the last 5 years.
  14. Very well written post! I hope your symptoms get better each day and you relaps fewer days. Up here in Boston we (well Hockey fans at least) have Savard as an example of this. He took a cheap shot hit and got a concussion and has had issues ever since. (It's been like 8 years and he still has days where he can't even get up it hurts that bad. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. (And my son wants to play football, and I will let him but will be having mini heart attacks every time he is slow to get up.)
  15. 😳 Did you not see the talent on O for that team the year they went 4-12? They had a dominant O line a stud WR AND TE they also had a pretty good QB go down early. They didn't tank they lost their QB. Tanking = wanting to lose in my mind.
  16. One game out of 11 without him would be considered an outlier. We will just have to see.
  17. I would have agreed, he is def more talented than any of our other LB (except Hightower) but the Defense has played BETTER since his departure. Now that also could been the teams O they faced since then as well.
  18. We have been very fortunate, this must be how Yankee fans felt back in the Ruth days, and Celtic fans back in the 59's and 60's felt like.. so I'll enjoy it while it lasts. 😎 I was being honest about the Bills, an average D with your current O and I see playoffs for them next year. (Heck you make it this year with a decent FG kicker)
  19. I say next year if you are able get a competent FG kicker and your HC can get your D to play average football.. I see 10-6 and a playoff birth
  20. Because it is pure speculation. He also could have been on IR for this game. Also The D played BETTER after he left, I don't think that's a coincidence. As for Jones, that one could be discussed (unlikely) since their pass rush has been eh at best all year.. (why I hope Cleveland goes dumb and gives us #12 pick for Jimmy G. Imagine the stud pass rusher we get then.. drool 😂)
  21. Well if your a synic I guess you could look at it that way lol. I just took it as him answering the question honestly...
  22. It takes a very Big man to admit when he is/was wrong.
  23. Both moves were shockers even for us up here in NE, but no one up here will question the moves if they lose in a shoot out. The stats still showed one of the best D in the league all year. (Sadly most of the WBs in the AFC are God awful.) But what happens if they shut the Falcons D down and win in a blowout. Say 34-17... will people then be saying he is a super D genius again?
  24. Could you blame him? Going from the Penthouse to the condemned building ina crime riddle neighborhood.. that's what it's like being traded from NE to Cleveland.
