Absolutely agree! But that’s why I asked I just heard BB say that the division rivals probably wouldn’t trade with us.. (I bet he called and asked about Parker and they told him to BUGGER OFF.. lol) I mean BB obviously had no worries about it he dealt Bledsoe to you guys for a 1st round pick. But being traded from a team that isn’t a contender to one that is.. that also can light a fire under a player.. not always but the persuit of that ring is very strong esp in older players near the end.

It makes sense, you don’t want the guy you traded to come back and bite you in the butt. Lol mind you it could be a BB/Patriot thing to where the divisionnteams just scared their Fan base/owner lose their mind if they trade say Parker to NE and he breaks out for 1200 yards and 7 TDs..
-
Well a lot of teams won’t trade within their division. BB even said “we are open to trade with any team, I doubt within our division it we are always open to trades” so that’s why..

Ok wow! This is how I see it from the outside: 2nd year coach and GM: 1st year broke the longest playoff drought in the NFL. Second year went up and drafted what they feel will be their franchise QB. Now based off of what I heard the talking heads say about him then.. it was obvious the idea was for him to watch and learn from a vet. Sadly he outplayed the vets they had. (Or perhaps fortunately) the team has been inconsistent all year. Allen shows flashes of his raw talent but as expected makes dumb mistakes like a rookie and runs to often. (Ok I hate running QBs they never seem to last in the NFL) the O is lacking talent, they thought they had a #1 WR in Benjamin but he doesn’t appear get any separation and well seems done. My point is simple. I can see what their thought process was. Get a good defense that will keep us competitive while the rookie learns (preferably behind someone) then draft a few more playmakers on O. (Like a WR and maybe a RB in the 3rd or 4th round) then next year you have if it goes according to plan the Pats 2001 Offense.. good, doesn’t make mistakes with TO and feasts off of other team mistakes.

Would they trade him within the division??

Raiders now Shopping Derek Carr (?)

Miami paying to much for Tannehill already an over rated QB why spend even more for another over rated QB? jax might as they have a running game but is he much of an upgrade over Bortles? Who also sucks. giants — hahaha they are going #1 over all pick this year he may screw that up and win 2 games loo Maybe the owner is cash poor after Gruden contract and building a stadium in Las Vegas... they are stockpiling #1 picks right now. 5 the next two years. That’s a lot of trade capital. -

How did THAT QB ever beat the Patriots twice!?! Completely clueless.. -
Patrick Peterson available; has now requested a trade
PatsFanNH replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes they did add Peterson and they have arguably the best CB duo in the NFL.. but god can we get Chandler Jones back in thebtrade as well.. lol we need a pass rush!! -
The Vikings think Allen > Darnold

Couldn’t be the fact one wa s a road game, that they overlooked? And the other a home game they learned not to overlook a team anymore?? -
Stating the obvious - the NFL talent level vs. Bills
PatsFanNH replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s not entirely true. The Bears are winning based off of their D. I dare say if Mack was 100% they win that game yesterday! I also point to the Ravens who are winning right now with a sub par QB and average WR talent but a shut down D. They lost that game because a kicker missed an extra point! -

Just wanted to add, that most players want to go to a place they feel they can win and have a chance at the Lombardi. (NE is hardly a haven for the nightlife but few top free agents ever say no to visiting BB OR the Pats.) -

Dude I been here less than a week and they started me! What do you think I could do?? -
Raiders might, they aren’t in love with Carr.. my gut says they trade him for a 3rd round pick to the Jags or some team like them.

The Marquee Matchup of Week Seven: NO vs. BAL
PatsFanNH replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Pats v Bears lost IMO a lot of its luster as Mack I don’t think will be playing. (He hsnt practiced all week) Take away pressure on Brady and he will carve that D up like a Thanksgiving Day Turkey. Browns D is pretty damn good! If that team ever got competent coaching they be very hard to beat. -
Is hitting QB's on the arm roughing the passer?
PatsFanNH replied to BBills88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Brady,Brees, Rogers are the face of the NFL the three players everyone knows even if they don’t watch football. I am pretty sure the NFL has told referees to pay “closer attention” to any hits on them. Is it right? No all QBs should be given the same protection.. is it surprising? No this is a business and those three are money makers for all 32 teams. -
Someone needs to be fired over Mahomes right now.
PatsFanNH replied to Klaista2k's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No that was the Pats game, I only saw highlights from Denver. (And if I saw that left handed throw one more time I’d have puked..) i think Mahomes will be damn good.. I just think people need pump the breaks thinking it’s mostly him when it’s more like 30% him 70% his teammates right NOW. That will change in a few years. -

I’m just saying thinking Mahomes be the same in Buffalo as he is in KC is unrealistic. Different teams and different coaches.. he could be a bust here if they had drafted him.. who knows! I just try compare apples (talent around then) to apples is all. -

We will disagree. Mahommes has looked very good yes, but almost all his throws (on Sunday) that went for big plays were because his talented we (Hill) or Hunt made an amazing leaping catch or dove and made a catch that wasn’t even intended for them. If you put Mahommes on the Bills.. he has more INT/ less yardage and Maybe 7 TDs.. he wouldn’t be terrible but not anywhere as good -

Again look at the talent each is throwing to. Mahomes is very talebted and a future top 10 QB.. but right now he benefits from elite WR/RB/TE play. In other words they make him look good. who does Allen have that is even semi close to Kelce,Hill or Hunt? -

He had 0 TDs against the Broncos.. did the talking heads lie to me again? Lol... also I said he has SKILL Players around him make him look better.. I think Hill and Hunt had no less than 5 or 6 catches where they had to leap to make the catch and hell he over shot his intended target and Hill slid down and got it for the TD.. so I will say this again.. he has been figured out he just has a lot of talent around him keep him looking good. (Oh and FYI the Pats D is weak.. why I said a D like the Bears or Rams would dominate him and he look average.. Pats showed they need the fast strike TD to get the TD. They were 33% in the red zone against NE. That is awful!)
