NFL's newest franchise QB: Daniel Jones
PatsFanNH replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He had very little time, that pocket was collapsing fast. Also most passes are under 20 yards, did you mean <10? It was an impressive debut considering. not saying he is a FQB but he did amazing with what he was dealt with. -
NFL's newest franchise QB: Daniel Jones

It was rather impressive, when you consider their biggest play maker on Offense went down early! Barkley went out and the game was squarely on his shoulders and he came threw. Now lets see how he does it from week to week and against better teams. (Also his accuracy was better than Allen's last year by a large margin!) -
Allen 3rd highest rated passer in 4th Q

Is that a good thing that he still has to be passing when facing the Giants, Bengals, and Jets of the world? (Jets was a great comeback) -
Forfeiting this week's game makes sense.

So you take a loss at home and feel you would have an easier time beating the Patriots at the Razor where they have lost like twice in two years?? You also don't know how injuries will turn out for the Bills.. you could be decimated on D and Brady lights you up like the dolphins.. you don't know.. you play to win NOW. -
I see a lot of sacks because both D are so good.. I see Brady taking a sack instead of throwing an INT. (IE he goes down or runs for like a yard and slides.. etc) Bill and Brady make eachother... like arguing which came first the chicken or the egg. as a fan I dont care lol
-
Big BIG difference is, the TUCK rule was an actual rule. AND it was called correctly. Sadly Raider fans are still in denial and fail remember all they had to do was stop Brady on 4th down.
-
I agree on a close game. I just don't see the Bills D confusing Brady , (it rarely happens) and he will torch blitzes all day.. especially if Edelman is going those two share a weird psychic link lol. The Pats D hasnt faced anyone, but neither have the Bills. (Jets with a MONO QB, Eli Giants, Cincy) It should be a good low scoring game.. with hopefully no major injuries
-
I won't lie I loved them signing him BEFORE everything came out. I was like pfft he gets us that 2nd stud WR. But after the aligations came out i was less supportive.. But DAMN how stupid do you have to be to send a threatening text when you KNOW its 1 strije and your out. ugh million dollar talent 2 cent brain,
-
He is with the Pats 2 more years. He isnt going anywhere. Also that incident is so dang weird!!! dont wanna go into it but he wasnt even there when the cops came lol,.. just weird.
-
Pats D has not allowed a offensive TD since the AFCCG.. and have not allowed a first half SCORE since the end of last season. Brady looked off as soon as Edelman went down with a rib injury.. Before that they scored 3 TD's on 3 drives.

Even if the Bills do, there is no reason get down on your team. At worse its a learning experience and the Bills will get better moving forward. There will be no need for the threads like "Bills suck we have beaten nobody" or "we lose again lets start over"
-
You start with a weird "not facing federal drug charges" and I respond with UMM because the person your speaking of is PLAYING still. See people use Umm when they are confused by a weird thing you said, or as I did poke a joke back at you.. see Pats fans also joke.. so maybe do as Rogers suggested a couple years ago and R-E-L-A-X,. its all good man.. just misunderstanding eachothers writing skills missing eachothers jokes.. it happens

BB misses as often as he hits on trades, the difference is he can afford to, he has the coolest seat of any NFL HC so he can make bad trades/FA Signings and be fine while most can not. (maybe Andy Reid??) HOGAN Didnt wash out 3 SB trips in 4 years isnt bad. and he helped a lot.
-
Umm ya that was on the Bills, and I said the last year and a half or so??? Man has really improved and playing lights out. Also rare for a miscommunication in that backfield.. it happens but its rare.
-
So you think the 15th ranked sacking D will get more than the 1st ranked sacking D? really? Why?
-
Umm so Chung couldn't be there? lol that said you obviously haven't watched Gilmore the last year or so. Man has turned into a shut down corner, perhaps the best in the league right now. could that happen? Sure! I was using Gilmore as the example it could be any of the corners because Allen sees X when it ends up being Z and he throws it quickly and it gets picked.
-
Aww i'll use small words for you. All Pro Tackle retired from Browns.. Browns did not replace him... Mayfield is now running for his life. AKA all the talent around him means nothing if he has no time! Nah I had it on accidentally... and typing fast while working.. make a lot of mistakes lol
-
Question? does your D run on zone D usually? Brady feasted on the Steelers Zone D, is it similar to theirs? And you should but see I see a close game and then Allen misreads the coverage and Gilmore picks him off for a pick 6 to win the game for the Pats. IE. I expect Allens youth and inexperience be the deciding factor.. THIS time.. But heck I will probably be wrong.. lol

Hey Happy, The Bills could win with the Pats O line beat up, our Center IR for the year (blood clots in the lungs yikes!!) and at least one backup tackle in the game. (Wynn on IR to). I am looking see how the Pats D does against an O capable of moving the ball with consistency. I still expect a couple picks and a strip sack from Bennett. (Basing that off of Bills fans talk of Allen I gave not seen him play this year except in that awful Jets game. )
-
As I have mentioned Pats are on backup tackles, I would expect the TE to stay in and help block Hughes.
-
Neither team has faced a true test yet I agree! The Pats D I think is legit. I base that off of 3 points allowed in 3 games and allowing 199 yards per game. Thats good no matter the competition. The Bills like I said are ranked 6th so they are not going be easy move the ball against especially if Edelman is out and we are still on our backup tackles. As someone mentioned this isnt a must win for either team, I just dont want any other injuries to either team.

The BROWNS BIGGEST MISTAKE WAS not REPLACING THEIR RETIRING ot WITH A TOM NOTCH TALENT EITHER IN fa OR THE dRAFT. Their O line been awful!
