Compared to mckelvin, Williams, and Rogers, brooks has played great....he is not the liability that the others are, and will be solid for us for a while...with all the real issues on this team, I really don't understand the point of this thread.

Let me familiarize you with his play...he has really sucked this year. Burned every week, and picked on frequently.....that said, he's still 100 times better than aaron Williams

I'm not surprised...he is a total liability...If Brooks was healthy I predicted him to be starting by mid-season. Aaron is very bad. I do like other peoples suggestions of him trying at safety. Mayock said he thought he would be drafted as a safety project anyways, if I remember correctly.....all that said, I'm glad he only gave up one big catch last week and no TDs!

Astobot...are you referring to that packers o line that allowed 8 sacks in 30 minutes of football a couple weeks back?...the bills o-line is very good, even with backups. Check the rushing stats over there in Green Bay, no where near as good as ours. And it's not just the rb talent..buffalos oline is better than green bays.

I was there...midfield and before I saw it was a miss I thought it was tipped...not positive because I saw no replay, but I'd say tip.

Wanny must have been under the misconception that our defense could cover...our personnel is best suited for blitzing schemes, not coverage. We will never get a "coverage sack" with this defense. To answer your question though, I saw TWO blitzes...one was sheppard up the middle, one was wilson or byrd off the edge...both were telegraphed and picked up rather easily because sancheez pointed them out, for blocking assignments.

I'm done making excuses for fitz, he sucks. However, I'm actually more concerned about our defense than our offense...I feel like our offensive issues can be fixed or hidden with other attacks...our defense though, is the same simple man on man, wrs wide open, no pressure "vanilla" defense everyone assured me was just preseason packages...we looked better in the preseason than today! No pressure. No batted balls. ZERO coverage skills. Horrible safety play. Making sancheez again look like f-n aaron rogers...100 million dollar man gets 1 tackle and not 1 pressure, let alone a sack (on some ps no name rt might I add)...only credit to give is for playing decent against the run....makes me wonder if Edwards was really behind the atrocious d last year or if it was wanny because it looks eerily similar!

I think what scares me most about this game is what chans plan is. There is no question that in the talent department, OVERALL, we dominate. However, if chan runs this 4 and 5 wide crap as a base offense (against a D that chan and fitz has acknowledged as being hard to read), we will probably fall behind. If we fall behind, we continue the futile throwing only offense...if the jets know you are throwing every down, we could very easily lose this game...I love this team we have though, offense and defense...so much more talent than any bills team in years...this win is in the hands of chan....PLEASE pull through for us chan! Okay, like most of you, I am very disappointed with shep overall. Here's my question, do you really think wanny or chan would ever bench him in favor of Morrison (which I think they should), or will they just let it pan out week after week because he was such a high draft pick....I'm worried they will let this crap continue all season...my reasoning is because he looks the EXACT same as he did last year, but they are hell bent on him being our MLB

I watched the bills first preseason game and remember thinking that they seemed very objective. I was wanting some bills homer perspective to make it more entertaining, but tasker and the other guy (sorry don't remember who) seemed very fair and unbiased. I wanted to start a thread during that Vikings game because they were SOOOO overly in man love with those Vikings players it was unlistenable...had to mute it around halftime and listen to tunes... I have the preseason live thing and see bits or most of every game and I can't say ive heard one more bias and annoying than that Vikings game.
