  1. No disrespect to that DB, but I think Chris "Punt Catcher" Watson would have made that pick.
  2. I'm not giving up on this team. The defense looks pretty good, and the offense is playing with half the line, and not showing anything. The defense will keep us in every game.
  3. This penalty has not been called once in either preseason game. I believe that ref who is calling it has his head firmly up his own arse/.
  4. WTF is this BS with guys not lining up on the line of scrimmage!!!!!!!! They've rarely done this in history, and not yet this year. Yet, 3 times tonight? Fire that f'in ref!! Holy mackerel. This is ridiculous.
  5. Peterman looks fine to me. First down pass to Clay, Clay decides to take a left and came up short. Two other great passes wiped out by our tackles lining up improperly? I don't think those calls stand to review. However, this isn't Peterman's fault. He's a rookie, and he's playing better than Taylor.
  6. I think the call on #73 was b.s. They practice those formations, and I trust the coaches know what's legal and what is not. He wasn't on the line? I don't buy it. that ref was smirking when he called it.
  7. I get the Baltimore announcers, who cannot judge yards. Bills run for 3, they say, "gain of 1" Ravens get 2 yards, "Gain of about 5"
  8. I'm not clear on the comments. Was it wrong for me to post this? I think Bills fans would like to know this game is on t.v.
  9. Check out Peterman as they hand Clemson their only loss last year....at Clemson.
  10. That's a ridiculous assessment of the game. They had Sammy in single coverage, and he wasn't open. Goff had to go to secondary and tertiary targets. Giving Watkins credit for the success of Goff and Kupp is unfair to both those guys. Yes, Sammy is a superior athlete, but he isn't the reason those guys looked good. They beat Dallas last week, so they are coming along.
  11. Just to see what Sammy and Robert are doing. Also, the Rams played here for 20 years and although I hate the owner, I sort of like the team. Sammy was not really noticeable. I watched him run a few routes. Caught 2 for 8 yards. Woods made a catch early. I didn't watch the second. However, the clear star of this receiving corps was Cooper Kupp from Eastern Washington. Kid was open and catching everything for the first half. Made the QB Jared Goff look really good. I think Goff was 16-20. I know it's preseason, but last year Goff couldn't hit 16 of 20 in practice with no defense on the field. Oh, and that kid from UB is still a stud. How did we miss on that one?
  12. It's preseason. Ok. But I just tuned in for about 10 minutes of the game. Starting with the offensive pass interference on our tight end. Even the Philly announcers thought that was a bad call. There was a punt by Philly that went out at our 11, and we got called for holding by #51, who was last seen jogging toward the action at the end of the play. Watched it 5 times, couldn't see an infraction. There was a nice 20 yard fun by Banyard eclipsed by a holding penalty on #19, Powell. Replay shows no holding WHATSOEVER. This was a span of about 10 plays. The call on our rookie #75 on the field goal attempt, which was missed, cost us the game. The guy missed, and they called our guy for half the distance for, what, trying to block a field goal? They were given first and goal and got a touchdown. Here's a picture of a play during which the Philly announcers praised the left tackle for outstanding blocking, and the running back for nearly making a first down (ended up 4th and 4). Anybody see a hold here? He's got both arms around our guy. WTF
