TC in St. Louis

They called that on Seantrel Henderson about 4 times in a preseason game. It's fairly obvious that the tackle is a tackle and not a slot receiver. I think it's an unnecessary call.

He racked up 20 on San Diego. This without a running game, an offensive line, and crappy receivers. He's got a long way to go. He knows it, too. He doesn't need to read stuff like this about how lousy he is. He'll come around.

My son just added Fitz to his fantasy team. Surprised he was available after the start he's had!

Can I delete my original post? Clearly I was mistaken. What Vontae did yesterday was hilarious. The whole country is laughing at us. He's right. I will stop watching Bills games and find myself a new team. A winning team. I will now be a fair weather fan. Can somebody please jot down my handle and let me know when the Bills are worthy of having fans that give a crap?

I just watched ESPN's coverage of Vontae Davis walking out on the team. Max Kellerman just took a big giant steamer on the Bills and Bills fans. He is laughing at the situation. He needs to get socked in the jaw. The Bills fans are the most loyal in sports. He's a pompous jerk.

Sir, I don't have time to read all the topics before I share a thought. Sorry. I wasn't going to jump in till I heard the radio guy on my way home from dropping my kid at school. I think it shows that we stuck out like a sore thumb yesterday. Although on second thought, the radio guy is originally from Baltimore, so it's likely he watched that game on NFL Sunday ticket. I don't necessarily have a problem with those 3 quarterbacks. What I do have a problem with is the offensive line and the total lack of receivers. They had the entire offseason to get somebody in there who can get open and catch a pass. They thought they had fixed the OL with signings of mediocre players. Good coaching and schemes can overcome a slight lack of talent on the line, but they didn't have either of those yesterday.

Right! And then they got OJ and turned him into a decoy till Saban came around. Brutal. There have been some awful years, but this one is particularly disappointing coming off the Playoff team of last year....although we totally lucked into that and only racked up a field goal in that playoff game.

I was driving to the Bills Backer's place in St. Louis, telling myself this would be a good game. Our team was improved over last year. Nate looked great in preseason. He's gonna have a solid day. Our defense was improved. Star would be a stud. We'll play a good game. It only took one play to know that I was delusional, and that all these months of tracking the team, getting on this page to keep up with the news, watching youtube videos of our new guys, reading all the propaganda....drinking the koolaid, as they say. This was the worst game I've ever seen. And I've been watching this team since the mid-60's. To come into a season with expectations of at least a good, competitive team and...well, you saw it. This team is a mess. I was just listening to St. Louis sports radio, and the guy was ready to discuss Mizzou's win over Wyoming.....and he got sidetracked. He was talking about Josh Allen..."what was he the 6th, 7th pick? Why isn't he playing.....why is this McDermott guy obsessed with Nate Peterman? Trade Tyrod Taylor! Get AJ McCarron.....trade him too.....get Josh Allen....put him on the bench! What has Peterman ever done? This guy is a lousy coach.....sorry I lost focus there." Even the St. Louis guys, who don't have a team and don't care about the Bills, know that Peterman should never trot on the field again. It's hard being a Bills fan.

I remember that he didn't want to be here. So we traded him. We're the ones who signed him as an UDFA and developed him into being a star. Then he left. What if we still had Robert Woods, Nigel Bradham, Marquise Goodwin, and Reggie Raglund? What did we get for those guys? a 4th round pick. total.

The Bills did plenty in the offseason to improve. They signed 2 veteran OL (Bodine and the other guy), drafted Wyatt Teller, drafted Edmunds and H Phillips and signed Star and Trent. It's not like they just sat there on their hands. They decided that Josh is their guy, and did what was necessary to get him on the team. And I think he looked pretty damn good in the preseason (except the massacre v. Cincinnati). Peterman looked great in preseason. Last year is gone, as is the offensive coordinator. Daboll has designed an offense around the strengths we have. There will be a lot of running, and there will be a good passing game. I just listed to a St. Louis sports guy trash the team, and especially Josh Allen. He called him a disaster. What he fails to know is that our guys drafted him on purpose. They set up the draft in order to get the Franchise Quarterback of their choice. And they got him. His name is Josh Allen.

I think the national media is too lazy to put more than a casual look at this team. They all seem to have ranked us based on the Cincinnati preseason game. That's idiotic. I am looking forward to this Sunday's game. That's as far ahead as I go. Let's win that one, get on the bus and go home.

We haven't seen anything yet. No Shady. No game planning. The OL was horrible against Cinci but didn't have Dawkins, and they were rotating in and out. Our defense hasn't really done anything except vanilla no-scheme let's not get hurt football. I'll wait till after the first game to get a grip on where this thing is headed. The media has treated us as irrelevant distractions for so long, I don't think they know what the hell they are talking about. This isn't a 2-14, no talent group. This is a group with heart and great leadership. Let's go.

I tweeted to the guy, "Please stop writing about the Buffalo Bills." Worst team in the league? Come on, man!! I watched every minute of pre-season. We had our moments. Our run defense concerns me. We have shown no pass rush. But perhaps that's our vanilla schemes. Our OL played like crap against a great DL last Sunday. Dawkins didn't play, and they kept rotating guys to different positions. Personally, I don't know how Ducasse gets on the field. I had some faith in Miller, but he played like crap too. Shady didn't play, right? Our QB was exposed by that pass rush. He needs better protection. Everybody wants to jump on Cleveland's bandwagon. They have more talent. They had 4 of the top 36 picks. They always pick at the top of the draft. Guess what? They haven't proven ANYTHING. They lost 31 of their last 32 games....and kept the head coach!! Because of Cleveland, we ended up keeping both our first round picks, and got T. Edmunds! That's because they were stupid enough to pass on Chubb and as a result our trade with Denver was canceled (giving up both firsts) and we traded with Tampa, and kept both that pick and our second first round pick. I love Cleveland for that. Too bad we don't play them. Do you think Cleveland will make the playoffs? I think the Bills are a better team than they were last year. Last year they were 9-7 including some horrible games (Jets, N.O., San Diego). Hell, I might just drive up to Green Bay for the game on the 30th! Screw this guy. He's too lazy to know anything about our team. Screw him.

I was in the other upper end zone, knowing if he made the kick it would be 24-9 , and there was no 2 point conversion, so we were cooked. Denver was lining up for about a 24 yard field goal, and I was ready to go when I noticed that somebody was running down the sidelines toward us, and it was now a game. It got nuts after that, and Denver was marching down the field at the very end....I think Kirby Jackson picked off Elway to end it. What a game.

I don't get why she was wearing the bracelet at 3 a.m. Don't most people take off their big rattly jewelry and put it on the bed stand? Also, who was going out of the bedroom, tying sheets together? Her son would tie sheets together to take off and not call the cops? Sounds rigged. Where did he go that he needed an Uber? She said that she was locked in the bathroom. I've never heard of bathrooms being locked from the outside. Her friend accused Shady of everything that's been made famous by NFL players. Dog abuse (Vick), child abuse (Peterson), steroid abuse (he'd have tested positive by now), and beating up a woman (Rice). Shady stayed away from her and had lawyers do the work. Why would he suddenly do something so stupid? If he values jewelry so much, why would he risk an $8 million a year job? I don't get it.

I don't believe her. If the guy had a gun and asked for specific items, why not just give it to 'em? Her other allegations are absurd. If he was on peds he would've flunked a test by now. She should have moved out.

We held the Jags to 10 points in Jacksonville. The next week they got 42 in Pittsburgh. Bodes well for our defense.

Lost my voice screaming at the end of the game home. Quiet ride home to Geneseo.

It's good to give him a taste with the first team. That doesn't mean he'll end up there, but they determined he deserves to run some plays with the ones. Better receivers, better blocking, etc. If he progresses well, he'll earn more time with the ones. I heard him on the radio saying he doesn't want time off. He wants to keep playing and learning and becoming a professional football player. He has a great work ethic. If he is as talented as they felt when they drafted him, and his work ethic is this strong and consistent, he will eventually become a football star.

I loved it when we picked him. He was MVP of the Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin. I was tired of him making all the tackles.

Yes. This is "The Shining" of draft analyses. I think these two spend all their time memorizing information on every player who ever put on pads so that they can justify their programming. They hedge every bet. Bills draft is lousy, but if the players turn out to be good, it's a home run. If they didn't love Josh Allen, they wouldn't have drafted him. Tremaine looks like a great pick to me. I loved that they got Harrison Phillips. I don't know jack about the rest of them, except the lineman from VTech looks like a great pick. And I always liked Proehl's dad. Trust the process, not these two no-nothings. If they knew what they were talking about they'd be scouts.

I had to look that up....he's not in the Hall of Fame, but he is in the college football hall of fame. I still get upset when I think about him leaving us for the Falcons, after saying he wasn't' leaving. I remember calling him Cornelius Benedict Arnold.

Maybe he was recently injured. I fell and broke my wrist two weeks ago.
