Marty was a great coach in the regular season. His coaching style of "Play not to Lose" did not work in the playoffs. Cost him his job(s) and was why he never could win the big one.

Shows what a good defensive coordinator can do with a mediocre player. If we had Nolan as our DC guaranteed we would have players on the Pro Bowl squad, not to mention a few more wins.

As a season ticket holder that makes an 8 hour drive, round trip, to attend games, I am sure glad I passed on that pathetic display. The season is lost and like many others posting, I believe Gailey has lost the team. The heart, if there was any, is gone.

The coverage may have been adequate but he did not make a play on the ball to knock it down or intercept it. That is the problem with the Bill's DB's, they do not make plays on the ball. Covering the player is only half the battle. Lastly, the DB's for the Bills are not aggressive enough with players off the line. Players like Marshall need to be disrupted at the line.

With this pathetic defense, we are lucky to have 5 wins. Edwards should have been fired after we got pushed around in the Jet's game in Buffalo. That started the downward slide from which we never recovered.

It is tough to argue against the logic presented in this article, however this remains true. PUT A WINNING TEAM ON THE FIELD AND THE FANS WILL COME! The number of tickets sold is one factor, the number of people that actually show up is another. As a Season Ticket holder, this I know is true. I will not be at the game today. I tried to sell my tickets, no takers, I even tried to give them away, no takers. Bills fans have shown that if the team puts a winning product on the field they will support this team. Until that occurrs get used to the TV blackouts.

I have to disagree with you on the talent on this team. We do have talent in all areas and with the right coaching and schemes I believe this defense could be much better than they are showing. I agree that the other teams may have more talent but I believe it is a lot closer than you make it out to be. I also believe that proper coaching can make a huge difference in the attitude that is brought to a game.

Totally agree. We have players on defense that are capable if put in the right situation. This defensive coordinator has to be the worst game planner I have ever seen. Really, we did not know Rivers would throw to Gates? Really we did not know the Titans would feature Johnson, Cmon. We don't blitz, we do not double team, we don't not make any attempt to disguise our coverages. We are completely vanilla and the same defense every week. Any team can game plan for that.

That made signing in worth it tonight.

No doubt the team would be better without the injuries, how much, one can only speculate. The defense on this team is killing them. You can point to the injuries but in the end good teams learn to overcome injuries. IMO the problems are a lack of depth, poor coaching, poor scouting and unwilling to spend the money for the depth. Until the management of the team changes their approach or the Bills have a new owner, nothing will change IMO.

Went to the game Sunday and took notice of the number of players on injured reserve on each team. According to the Gameday Magazine handed out Sunday, the Bills have 12 players on IR while the Titans have 3. How can it be that the Bills have four times as many players on IR as another team? It seems every year we are at or near the top of the list of players on IR. It cannot be just bad luck. There must be a reason!

If you are truly fed up following the Bills there are 31 other teams to follow. I follow the Bills, for the Bills, and because they are part of the NFL. As someone else posted it is entertainment, a diversion, nothing more.

The offense could play well enough for this team to win the remaining games. They scored 24 points against the Jets and that should have been enough. The defense is what has been killing us and I do not see that changing. We are playing teams with better offense than the Jet's. Thus I do not see it possible. I can see the Bill's winning one or two games going forward but will be surprised if they acheive any more.

I will be shocked if any other team offers him the money he is seeking.

In Johnson we are seeing a great route runner. A great route runner will beat a great corner every time. Johnson now needs to work on increasing his focus on catching the ball.

Agree. I do not need to see Johnson putting any blame on Fitz for that drop. It is all on Johnson. A free agent at the end of the year, sign him for #2 money or let him walk.
