Hello everyone! Looks like he is being discharged today!! Not sure yet whether he will be in a rehab place for a few days or go right home for occupational therapy but things are looking good! He really appreciates all your support!

Thank you all again! He is doing even better today, talking and doing a crossword puzzle. He is looking forward to the Bama game. He is sarcastic and difficult, which is a good sign for him; it means he is back to normal! He doesn't get the game here (probably for the best) so he won't have thoughts but he should be back in business the following week. We are extremely blessed and grateful for the pace of his recovery and the early intervention. I have been reading your messages and he laughs. (Off topic, I cannot stand the Grateful Dead and don't understand any of their songs, but he spends a lot of time finding lyrics that he thinks match the tone of the game!)

Yeah, I only saw football posts on the main wall so I didn't want to put it in the wrong place! Echocardiogram was very good considering everything, and I will update when we know more about long term prognosis. So far everything that can be positive has been so.

Thank you for your kind words. He is stable right now. Tired but very lucid. He can speak without slurring and can move. I mentioned that people recommended he not watch the game and he rolled his eyes and agreed. I mentioned the Grateful dead and he sang a few lines. He is definitely himself!

Sorry, Gale. I'm a Yankee fan and it was a tough loss for both teams.

I went to college in Philadelphia. And after dealing with Eagles and Phillies fans, I can honestly say that they might be more annoying than New England fans. I wish I could feel sorry for them, but I can't. Also, it irrationally annoys me when Phillies fans spell it "phans" or "phaith". But I digress.

These are great thoughts. You are absolutely right, Bills fans deserve this. I did a news search for articles on the Bills/Eagles game. Almost all of the titles reference something about the Eagles choking and act as though just any team could have been the opponent. It's just a coincidence that QBs keep throwing interceptions against the Bills. No respect... Go Bills!!!!

I was at Jimmy's Old Town Tavern in northern Virginia. What a great crowd!!! I had never been there before but. But being around so many crazy fans made the win 100X more exciting. Watching people celebrate did bring a tear to my eye, but I'm a crybaby.,

Great thoughts! Watching this game reminded me what it was like to be excited during a Bills game/season when I was a little kid, in the 90s. Good stuff! (And more to come!)
