The truth is that no one could do a "great" job at predicting the draft, but I would hazard a guess that he would be more accurate than the posters here, including you. So, if he is an idiot, those of us posting their predictions here are.......... It really is funny to see how definitive some of you are in your opinions. Men who make their living at it are lucky to hit at 50%, yet some of you are certain that you know the answers and those that disagree with you are idiots. If this was an easy game, GMs would be doing far better than they are.

I am happy to learn that we have an above average offensive line, considering we don't know who is on it. If we take that receiver first we will continue our oh so successful strategy of drafting guys who return kicks. No one beats the Bills at that.

Even as a child I understood that what people say is worth zero. What they do is everything. If a coach says we are learning or building or going for the Super Bowl right away could not be more meaningless. Praise Marrone after the team accomplishes something, not before the first exhibition game.

Grading an off-season before the draft is amusing, at best. You grade the off-season at some point in the following season.

Wannstedt is a far better coach than Sheppard is a linebacker. Linebacker remains the weakest part of the D by far and the D was far worse than the O last two years. I think some of you have forgotten that the Bills gave up yards like no other team in memory. If an RB got past our D line he was off to the races.

Frankly, I am astounded at the belief that LB is not a glaring weakness on this team. So far, Sheppard has been a horror show and I am unclear why people think he will automatically improve. Bradham is at best unknown as far as what he will become. I have not watched Lawson closely so I don't have an informed opinion about him, but I will be surprised if he is excellent. Last year the D line was so so, as was the secondary. The LBs were the worst of the groups. When holes opened on the line the LBs did not plug them and they brought zero pass pressure.

What a winner. He couldn't beat out the QB behind Sanchez. Fitz is a far better QB than Tebow. Far better. If Fitz had been on that Denver team they probably would have had a better record. A winner is someone who elevates his team, not someone who puts up very few points while his D shuts out the opponents.

Going by the limited film I've seen on Patterson, I think him at 8 could be a disaster. Graham was enough of a disaster last year. A disaster in the 1st round would be even worse. If there's a qb you love, take him first, else grab defenders. Last year's D was one of the worst in recent memory.
