Hate to say it..... (QB situation)
Kemp replied to IslandBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Where did I say I like dheck downs? I can't seem to find it. What I meant, that you apparently did not understand by my comment, is that Manuel is pretty good at not making the big mistake, a very nice quality for a QB. -
Hate to say it..... (QB situation)
Kemp replied to IslandBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Only smart thing to do is pick a qb if you think someone who might be better than Manuel is available. Hurting anyone's feelings is not an issue. I remain very unimpressed with EJ's accuracy, although I like his decision-making. I also believe that Geno has way more upside. Very accurate but bad decisions. Easier to get better with decisions than accuracy. -
Why is Graham used more than Goodwin?
Kemp replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Graham was a fumbling machine in colege. He was rated the worst WR in the NFL last year on one set of metrics and he almost never gets a reception. I can see why someone would defend him. If he was his agent or mother. -
Wondering how you know he had good throwing mechanics before college. Unless you went to his high school games you are wishing and hoping and have not a clue. I don't remember any NFL qb who improved his throwing mechanics. I have seen them get better at reading their environment,

Does Archie Manning ring a bell?

Funny post! A team is better off with EJ than Luck!!!!????? Some of the attempts at logic here are priceless. Almost reads like satire. Is it? Also, who cares how Bills stack up against Colts?

Pats* pull another one out of their posteriors
Kemp replied to BRH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am the lone Bills fan who roots for the Pats once the Bills are out of it. I love the way they play. Brady is the ultimate competitor and Belichick is the best coach of my lifetime in any sport. All of us wish he was running the Bills organization. Anyone who claims otherwise is lying or deluded. Does anyone really believe the league or the refs want them to win or are some of you just blowing off steam? -
get EJ what he needs to succeed in 2014
Kemp replied to BackInDaDay's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could not disagree more. The league is not about setting trends in order to succeed. It is about understanding the rules and exploiting them. The NFL's rules have evolved to a point where it has become far easier to gain 5 yards through the air than on the ground. The teams that succeed do that the best. All you need do is look at the teams that run the ball for the most yardage and you will see that is almost an anti-barometer for success. Having a good ground game as a secondary feature is a great thing to have, but make no mistake that it is a primary. If the rules change to make it better for defensing the passing game, it will be time to switch strategies. Until then it is suicide. -

Offensive weapons are a wonderful thing, but if your QB has accuracy issues, who cares. I won't argue that having WRs who can steal jump balls isn't a great thing to have, but considering that QB is so much more important than any other position, it would be nice to have one that does not have accuracy issues. -
I want answers on phantom call on Williams
Kemp replied to tedstrong's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
In a game where they had ample opportunity to win, where a supposed number 1 receiver choked once again, some are upset by the refs. The refs are unimportant. SJ taking another crap on the field is important. Calls are missed on every snap of the ball. The Bills deserved to lose and they did. -
A Few Thoughts About The Game, in no particular order.....
Kemp replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would have thought that everyone here understood that coaches play the best players they have. A coach can make a mistake but good players will always get their deserved playing time. The argument that coaches retard a player's growth and abilities is nonsensical to me. Saying that Tuel was a mistake or some of the others you mentioned does not address the central point that a coach can only play players on their roster. If you are a coach and you are unhappy with a player, other than sitting him for another player, what other choice is there? To answer your first question, the GM picks the players. A coach might have influence, but ultimately it is not his call. An exception exists somewhat in Dallas, but that is from the top, not to the top. -

I love when fans think a coach can ruin a player's career when it is the exact opposite. -

When a player often comes up small at big moments, he is a small player. SJ is a small player. -
Funny to see that anyone criticized arm strength under those conditions last night.

Kiko is already one of the best Bills LBs in the history of the franchise. Him and Byrd are incredibly instinctual. Still think Graham is a horror show who got lucky that the defender was not paying attention. Funny, that if they get lucky they ciuld end up 9-7. More likely 7-9, but who knows? At next year's draft, I am rooting for another good LB to create an excellent grouping. Might even prefer it to a big WR. -
Who wants to apologize to Jairus Byrd?
Kemp replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People who criticize Byrd and think they know another man's pain are effing idiots. -
REAL facts of EJ before injury and the QB's that filled in
Kemp replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Great cherrypicking of stats in this thread. Ooh, he is better than Tuel. Russell Wilson had a bad start. Lots have bad starts and continue that way. Manuel may become legit. So far, he isn't. -
Why is the media not pointing the finger at Hackett?
Kemp replied to MClem06's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With a bad qb and worse wrs, not to mention a poor OL, the problem is not the coaching. -
Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended
Kemp replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone questioning the mental stability of Martin or saying this is no big deal does not get it and never will. -
Fumbling machine in college, so no one should be shocked he can't hold onto it. Add in that besides speed he has no discernible skills and one wonders why he is still here.

Bills might win. Any team might win.

Why Does Everyone Love Pettine So Much?
Kemp replied to Storm Front's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
D is markedly better than last year. O is worse, which is pretty amazing. People expecting more out of O are funny. Put the QBs we have seen this year anywhere and it would be bad news. Add in the difference between Spiller last year and this year and it is a wonder that they remain competitive at all. -
Considering Ryan's Jets were picked to be the worst team in football by many, including lots of posters at this site, he has done a pretty good job. Using injuries is a joke because most teams have big ones and the biggest one the Bills have faced stem from the QB being stupid. Hopefully, he will learn.

Top five most disliked NFL players of 2013
Kemp replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
People who like Suh are nuts. Those who do would hate him more than anyone if he pulled something against the Bills. -
Stevie = Kaleta as far as refs are concerned

You know the season is over when the irrelevant whining threads appear.
