  1. For those of you think NEsuccess is tainted: Opinions of the 4 Steelers Super Bowls featuring some of the great steroids abusers of all time. This cheating traces back to the 1960's when San Diego was the first to pound steroids and cruise to an easy victory.
  2. Guys like Sherman are what is wrong with sports and society. No class, whatsoever.
  3. Been a Bills fan since the AFL days and when I see Bills fans who think that Brady losing or crying is a giant negative, all I can think is how pathetic to get your rocks off on that. If only we had had a record here in Buffalo over the last decade that was comparable to the Pats. The Bills continue to lose and some of our fans emulate it by thinking like bitter losers.
  4. Archie Manning was the best qb I ever saw on consistently horrible teams. Every play was a mad dash of 3 or 4 guys chasing him.
  5. Lombardi had a great roster. An awful team littered with hall of farmers. Great coach, though, but to me Elichick has accomplished a string of winning seasons that will never be duplicated. He also brought Parcells his two Super Bowls before the Pats. P arcells never won without Be llichick. Bellichick won 3 times without P arcells. Another who forgot what he did to the Bills in the Super Bowl and in another season, as well.
  6. One thread here telling us Brady makes Belichick look good. Another says the exact opposite.
  7. You really don't get it. You continue to cherry-pick moments in time to prove something so slanted as to be absurd. Brady has near zero mobility, is old and continues to win. He is an incredibly accurate passer and great decision maker. Statistically he is an all time great. It is tough to respect an opinion of someone who truly believes Brady is a bit better than average. If he had been a Bill all these years you would revere him. Your hatred of the Pats has fogged your brain.
  8. Cherry picking stats can lead one to many ignorant evaluations. Brady is a HOF QB. Easily. He is arguably top 5 of all time. To you he is slightly above average. Maybe your perceptions have been dulled by hatred or perhaps you once happened upon the cable guy.
  9. Analogies are not your strong point. Extremely weak, actually. Bills fan since the AFL days. If they are not part of the equation I enjoy watching the Pats. They play the way you are supposed to play. No matter how many injuries they keep going. Incredible stuff.
  10. I understand hating the Pats. Calling Brady slightly above average is football-ignorant.
  11. I understand hating the Pats. Calling Brady slightly above average is football-ignorant.
  12. Rooting for Pats again, as I always do once Buffalo capsizes. I wish Bill and Tom had spent their careers in Buffalo. Yeah, you guys boil at the thought, but we cannot help what we root for.
  13. I suppose the original poster has no clue about what exciting football is. The first weekend was as exciting as any I have ever seen, with the Colts game being one of the best of all time. Maybe this person would have preferred a Kardashian marathon.
  14. Another reason he is the best in the game.
  15. Oddly, I felt he was a quick learner with physical limitations. Geno struck me as the slow learner with less physical limitations.
  16. Threads like this are funny. Take a QB. who was somewhat disappointing and find another who took a little while to shine. Then posit that your QB might do the same. Might happen. Let's not think about all of the QBs. that initially disappointed that went on to become busts, which is the far more common result. Manuel might become great, but as of now that is sort of a long shot. I don't like how many injuries he already has had, one of which was from a stupid play of his. I am also not fond of his throwing motion. This does not mean he will not have a good career, but cherry-picking another QB and extrapolating from there means zero.
  17. Because I do not believe he cheats more than anyone else. At Giants stadium they used to open giant doors to screw up opposing field goal kickers. The Steelers won super bowls by juicing their players. The league is littered with felons. If you want to make morality judgments, there is no one to root for. When I say I root for the Pats, I actually don't care very much and often miss lots of playoff games.
  18. It's not about having two teams. It's about remaining interested after the perennial disappearance of the Bills midway through every season. I think you meant to say two starting QBs.
  19. I am an anti-fan of corporations and detest their negative influence on government and the general populace. Hope that clears it up a bit. The fat chick choked on her sandwich.
  20. I root for the Bills. Once they are eliminated, I root for the Pats. Can't help it. None of us can help who we root for, unless we are phony, fair-weather fans.
  21. I know it is unpopular here but my second favorite team is New England and Belichick, to me, might be the best coach I have ever seen in any sport.
  22. How did the Bills maker Kiper appear foolish? At this point it is more likely the reverse, although at best the jury is out.
  23. You expected EJ to make that list?! Was it his three knee injuries that you thoght would propel him onto the list?
  24. If you don't care, why even bother to comment? Seems easy enough to ignore something you say you could not care less about.
  25. If a qb deemed worthy is available, take him in the first round. Drop Graham. Find another lb and a wr who can steal badly thrown balls.
