  1. We disagree. I think the original sentiment of the OP is off-base because he is operating under the erroneous assumption that if we have any criticisms of EJ, we are therefore bashers. The premise of the thread is wrong and meant to provoke strong opinions. Don't whine when you get these opinions.
  2. Your stats say that so far EJ is a better QB. I agree with that. I merely said Geno is a more accurate thrower, but Geno is a poor decision maker. I am not sure why some people are so crazed about this viewpoint. Right now I would rather have EJ, but if Geno gets better at reading the D, I would probably prefer him. None of us knows if that will happen, though. Some of you act like any criticism of EJ is like your kid being criticized.
  3. His interceptions have come primarily from poor decisions, rather than accuracy problems. I thought most fans understood this. 18,000 is a lot, though.
  4. The obvious hole in your argument is that those of us who still have doubts about EJ didn't start the thread. It was started by someone who believes EJ has already proven to be called a raging success. That is the opinion that at this point is baseless. You are blaming those of us who disagree with that attitude. He was looking to rub it in our faces that his opinion was correct. To not expect pushback is silly. How about we wait more than two games before declaring EJ the answer.
  5. How can the class that EJ came from be irrelevant when the poster I responded to, cited it. I said Geno is a better passer than EJ, as far as accuracy. On what basis is EJ better than Geno, at present? As to the future, who knows? By the way, EJ has far better weapons than Geno. When was the last time the Bills had so many talented offensive weapons. Kudos to Whaley. Someone posted the list in order to make a point. It then becomes fair game to point out the silliness of it.
  6. The 2nd year QBs come from as bad a class of QBs as in recent memory. I also believe Geno has a much better arm than EJ.
  7. You think he has no flaws? Now there's some real hyperbole.
  8. It's the equivalent of the original post of this thread.
  9. Number 5 shows the worth of the list.
  10. How very true.
  11. Happy to see that you admit his flaws. I have already acknowledged his assets. Wow! You have beating the drums for longer than you have been regularly watching him.
  12. Some people jump on bandwagons after one or two games. Everyone who posts here wants the Bills to win. Some of us can want this but still see flaws in their most important player.
  13. I will get back to you if RGIII ever becomes healthy. How many teams have a better combo of WRs and RBs? It ain't many.
  14. I would lean towards they don't feel Manuel is ready to dominate in the red zone. The offensive coach knows better than we do as to strategy in the red zone.
  15. He still missed two throws that were easy as pie and one of them definitely cost a touchdown. He has become a better manager and that's important, but I remain unimpressed that he will ever be good enough to be among the best. If he turns out to be consistently competent, I will be satisfied, though.
  16. At this point, it appears Goodwin isn't what a lot us hoped for when he first arrived. Looks like another Parrish.
  17. I thought they would win 6 or 7. Today didn't change my mind. Surprised to see a lot of folks think EJ was one of the stars today. I thought he wasn't bad, but nothing more. Running game and defense were good.
  18. Why does the NFL care? Does this mean we should bet the Bears every week? Who else is the NFL rooting for and fixing the refs for?
  19. Any draft where you can get a Luc Tousignant can hardly be called bad.
  20. Any draft where you can get a Luc Tousignant can hardly be called bad.
  21. I still feel bad about stealing Rachel from you.
  22. If you believe Carroll or Belichick are screaming to fire them, you are the one without hope.
  23. After a decade and a half of garbage, who could have envisioned that this season could possibly be a step backwards?
  24. What makes them better this year? Kiko and Jarius gone and Watkins added. 8-0 @ home seems plausible?
