  1. ..If you understand that Charley Jones and Al DeRogatis was the best football announcing team ever. ..If you knew how great Butch Byrd was.
  2. Sitting in a freezing Shea Stadium, watching O.J. beat 2000 yards.
  3. Grade a GM after the season, not before.
  4. Woods remains the team's second best receiver. Easily.
  5. No one hates Manuel. Some of us do hate how he throws a football, though.
  6. People who say "You heard it here first" are starved for recognition of anything. Ironically, they are rarely first, anyway.
  7. Tyrod Taylor???????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there a better indicator of the state of the QB quality in Buffalo than that the OP has opined that he would be his go-to guy? His career consists of 35 pass attempts in 4 years. Cassell is old and done, not that he was ever much, anyway.. Taylor's resume is no better than Tuel's. EJ is easily the player we all better hope wins the starting spot and he can't accurately throw the football. I can't believe I'm saying it, but he offers the Bills their best chance at winning games. If the team can improve their O-line at the draft, the team might be good enough to snare a playoff spot despite offering what appears to be three zeros at QB. Here's to hoping EJ miraculously figures out how t throw a football, because short of that, the Bills are a multi-talented team going nowhere, again.
  8. A team without a good QB and as bad an offensive line as there is, is the most talented team? Sorry, that's stupid. QB is by far the most important position, so unless something incredibly unexpected happens, don't hold your breath that Buffalo will win the Super Bowl next season. I think they are 50-50 to ms me the playoffs, though and I think 10 wins is a fair guess.
  9. Saying the O line will be better than last year isn't saying very much.
  10. The only thing preventing EJ from being a great QB is that he can't throw the football accurately.
  11. People are laughing at Fitz while having Cassell and EJ?
  12. You left off "on the bench" at the end of the title of this thread.
  13. Lucille Ball
  14. Bills give up a good young LB with injury issues for a top 5 RB and some people scream. Never mind that Buffalo's D is impressive and their O is horrific. Some people love to whine.
  15. He would be the first franchise quarterback who can't throw a football very well. He could become a starter for a team that had awful alternatives, though.. Oops. That already happened, so I guess he already is a franchise quarterback.
  16. He's light years better than Graham. That leaves him a few rungs away from being worth keeping. And as much as you don't want to hear it, he gets injured. You would think that after Parrish and Graham you would have figured out that speed alone is worthless in the NFL.
  17. I don't give a rat's ass what Rex wears or says. That anyone cares amazes me. I only care about results. I live in NYC, and his time here was a disaster. He kept bringing in bad actors until the dressing room and chemistry was a disaster. His first move here is to bring in Incognito. That might work out, but considering how many bridges Incognito has burned, I won't hold my breath. When he wins, I'll cheer his time as coach. Until then, who cares what he says? He wears a Thomas jersey and some of you act like he is a great coach. One person here crows that Rex is dressing better than Bellichick. Personally, I'd rather win the division every year and bring 6 Super Bowl rings here.
  18. Horrific offensive line and no quality backs equals zero chance of a Super Bowl.
  19. I remembered the name Warlick, but not the details. Read up on him. Think I might have become a fan in his last season or the following one.
  20. I liked it better when Ryan was being an ass for the Jets.
  21. Multiple running backs when they are the easiest position to fill? Get a good offensive line and running backs become easy to get.
