  1. Now that Watkins might be done for the season, and possibly for his career, we can look forward to? Anyone have anything? At least Goodwin finally looked like a star. Was he dressed? Change 6-10 to 4-12.
  2. No need to tank when you already suck. Feels worse when you think they moved up to get Watkins and the better receivers drafted after him.
  3. A couple more like that and he doesn't see another 15 games.
  4. For those of you who said it would be different this season. Yeah, right. Stupid penalties continue. Rex using up time outs. Tyrod doesn't look like the answer Every time they run to the right, they get stuffed, but that doesn't stop them from trying McCoy is no longer a great RB, despite some of you saying he will return to greatness Zero defensive line pressure and an offense that is the opposite of dynamic. I'll be happy when the stench of Ryan is finally gone. Yeah, they are missing a bunch of guys on defense, two from injury, but let's face it, this is a bad and a boring team and they were facing a team that almost looked equally unimpressive. Disgusted. 6-10, anyone?
  5. We already can be pretty sure that he will jump offsides at an unbelievably bad time. Hopefully, that's his only screw-up.
  6. Taylor to Goodwin for 45 yards.
  7. I'll alter the hypothetical for you. If you had to bet $10,000 on whether the Bills will make the playoffs this year, what would your bet be? Yeah, I know you don't have to bet. I still hope they make it, but when looking at it objectively, I doubt very many here would bet on making it.
  8. When injuries and stupidity run rampant on one team, what other rational conclusion should we reach? They could make the playoffs, but how many of you if you had to risk your life on your decision would opt for they will make it?
  9. As a longtime sufferer of Crohn's, how can I not root for him? I had it for 15 years before it was correctly diagnosed. Often heard I was a hypochondriac.
  10. My biggest concern is that they will pass a joint around in the huddle.
  11. Baltimore 16-13 I think if Buffalo was facing a dynamic offense, they would be soundly beaten. When you are missing so many key players on D, it's tough to imagine anything else.
  12. Tyrod Taylor gets off to a great start, but gets knocked out for the season in the first New England game. EJ goes 1-4, and gets replaced by Cardale, who shows off a strong but inaccurate arm, leading to a 6-10 record. Coaching staff gets fired. The following season, the Bills become a Super Bowl contender.
  13. And we know who they want in office.
  14. I refuted your theory and statistics and you've moved on to another topic. The problem isn't just the voter ID laws, but looking just at that we know that in the states in question, what constitutes a valid ID is dependent on which groups use which IDs. Then there are the issues of shutting down polling places in poor, black neighborhoods and closing the polls on weekends when it's much easier for many poor blacks to vote. What do you think the reasons are for all of these things when taken together? Don't be lazy. Read the court's decisions. It's easy to find with Google.
  15. The courts in these Red States decided it was to keep blacks from voting.
  16. I read about the first 50 examples. Most don't involve voter fraud by voters. More about people running for office submitting false addresses in order to run for a district they don't live in. Also, in the first 50, they go back to the year 2000. If you follow the math out, it approximates the percentage of fraud I cited, which is miniscule. Lastly, the data here comes from The Heritage Foundation, a Republican think tank, rather than a neutral source. But let's assume their numbers are accurate. This would still mean that voter fraud is probably near .00000013.
  17. Horribly uninformed, indeed. Very rampant. Trying to cure a problem that doesn't exist in order to suppress the vote of people that Pubbies don't want voting. Facts are fun. Out of the 197 million votes cast for federal candidates between 2002 and 2005, only 40 voters were indicted for voter fraud. Only 26 of those cases, or about .00000013 percent of the votes cast, resulted in convictions or guilty pleas.

Tonio K had an interesting take on western civilization: THE FUNKY WESTERN CIVILIZATION (Tonio K.) come on everybody get on your feet get with the beat there's a brand new dance craze sweeping the nation and it's called the funky western civilization well there's a riot in the courthouse, there's a fire in the street there's a sinner bein' trampled by a thousand pious feet there's a baby every minute bein' born without a chance now don't that make you want to jump right up and start to dance? let's do the funky the funky western civilization it's really spunky it's just like summertime vacation you just grab your partner by the hair throw her down and leave her there they put jesus on a cross, they put a hole in j.f.k. they put hitler in the driver's seat and looked the other way now they've got poison in the water and the whole world in a trance but just because we're hypnotized, that don't mean we can't dance we've got the funky the funky western civilization it's really spunky it's just like summertime vacation you just drag your partner through the dirt leave him in a world of hurt you get down get funky get western (own up to it boys and girls) and if you try real hard maybe you can even get, you know, kinda civilized· (mesdames et messieurs, bon soir. this is joan of arc. tonio has asked me to personally deliver a rather special message. he say he just cannot get enough of my 15th-century wisdom. he say he loves it when i talk with him like this. and after many a saturday night of doing ze funky western civilization together, i know for a fact he agrees with me when i say [in french]: you can bull **** the baker and get the buns you can back out of every deal except one) this is the funky the funky western civilization it's oh, so very spunky it's just like summertime vacation all's you gotta do is find some little kid somewhere and throw him way up in the air (never mind the parents) yes it's a funky a funky western civilization and it may seem kinda skunky, you know but it's hitting every nation (all across the universe) that's 'cause all's you gotta do is grab your partner by the hair throw her down and leave her there ©1978 Worthless Music and Propane Publishing Co. 19. The best book I read on the subject was And the Band Played On. A well-written and informative read. That will be a problem for some, here.
  20. I tried to tone it down in my last post. Was just wondering what I wrote that he said was not true. If I don't hear an answer, I'll just leave it alone, too.
  21. Can you point to something I wrote that was factually incorrect? I will try to clarify it, again, if you care to expand on your point. Right now, I'm not sure what your point is, though.
  22. I believe that is incorrect, but if you can give me a citation, I will admit the stat is meaningless. It was an answer to a question. What don't you understand?
  23. Reagan refused to mention the word AIDS and ignored the epidemic. The funny moment came when Surgeon General C Everett Koop had to give a public address about health. Reagan's people were always given his speech in advance, so Koop, knowing this, gave them the wrong document on purpose. He then proceeded to talk about AIDS, infuriating Reagan and his people.
