  1. Curious how you quantify the revenue that Watkins generates for the Bills. If he never played another game for Buffalo, how much money would the team lose?
  2. What has made the NFL so much money is the amount of people who gamble on it. The NFL is the only league where this applies.
  3. Buffalo and Phoenix are exact opposites. They each have about 6 ok months. I'll take San Diego over Buffalo 12 months a year, for weather. In the winter, San Diego crushes Buffalo. In the summer, Buffalo is a bit hotter than San Diego. https://www.currentresults.com/Weather/New-York/Places/buffalo-temperatures-by-month-average.php https://www.currentresults.com/Weather/California/Places/san-diego-temperatures-by-month-average.php
  4. "Best of anywhere in the U.S." The best?! I can understand loving living in Buffalo, but weather is in no way one of the reasons. For just weather, I'll take San Diego
  5. To me, the worst case scenario is you keep him and he's injured next season and then you drop him and get nothing. The notion that unless he goes to Jets, Cleveland, or a similar team, it's a stupid move makes no sense to me. If you don't think you're getting the better of it, you don't do it. If you think it's a good deal you do it. If the Bills hadn't given up so much for him, it wouldn't even be a big deal to trade him.
  6. Surprised to see how many people are terrified to deal a player that can't stay on the playing field. No one is saying to give him away. A team has to be willing to trade anyone if they think they will get the better of it.
  7. You're ironically right, in that you are 180 degrees from the truth.
  8. Anyway, I'm more concerned with who Buffalo is taking in 2019 and 2020, when robots can finally be drafted.
  9. Anyone who would prefer Kelly ain't real bright.
  10. Do you believe you watch more film than the people in the NFL in charge of making personnel decisions?
  11. So, the point is that Buffalo screwed up in a later round, and that's not so bad? I imagine that he has to be better than Cardale and EJ, which is not that hard. At least they say Peterman is an accurate thrower. Always found it funny that the biggest knock on Cardale and EJ was that they both had accuracy issues. I can't think of a worse attribute for a QB. Like those issues would disappear when bigger and faster men were defending against them.
  12. If Peterman is going to be so good, why did a bunch of QBs go before him, or are they all going to be great, or did every other GM screw up?
  13. He hasn't had to.
  14. Looks like Buffalo has gone for metrics. Love it.
  15. Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is an absurd one – Voltaire
  16. You base your fandom based on what happens on draft day? I suppose there might be one fan in the stands that lives by that belief.
  17. SF and Buff won't get that for their picks. Why on Earth would Houston give up their first pick in 2018 in that deal?
  18. Boy do you overvalue what a draft pick will get in return.
  19. Doesn't that sound like great output for Gillislee in exchange for a 5th round pick? How would that mean Buffalo won the trade.
  20. I'll believe that when I see it.
  21. For a change of pace, I'd like the analysts on the broadcast to not be shocked by the selection.
  22. Feminine? Another embarrassing statement from someone who deep down cries himself to sleep wishing that Brady was a Bill for his entire career.
  23. Except for the iceberg, the maiden voyage of the Titanic was a rousing success.
