  1. From a quick google search, and I’ve never met him, but Andrew Lincoln is a Bills Fan. He is the actor who plays Rick Grimes on The Walking Dead.
  2. Did anyone notice the player who just intercepted Dak ran to the star at the 50 and did the TO pose?
  3. He is an awesome receiver but also a liability with his "issues." I am not well versed enough but how does this compare to other star receiver deals?
  4. Hi Steve, Not sure I have a good answer for you but I am in a similar position. I used to play a lot of golf about 20 years ago. Just recently I have gotten back into it, however I am using clubs that are all 10-15 years old. Even though I hit the clubs well, I have read that golf technology has improved so much in the last 5 years that almost all players should have newer clubs. Since I have been playing a lot more in the last 6 months I have been debating how I should upgrade. Should I just buy a whole new starter set, (like the one the OP mentions) or should I pay more and slowly upgrade my clubs. IE Wedges first, then woods, then irons in order to not have a great expense up front. Right now I shoot about 90 on average. I play a 20 year old Scotty Cameron putter, Ping Eye 2 irons ~15 years old, and Taylor Made Burner woods. Thoughts? BD
  5. Been to a Red Lobster. I don't think this will change either. This one may not be popular, but I have never gotten a massage. Well at least one I paid for.
  6. Last year I had the pleasure of attending both BUF @ CAR, 9-3 and BUF @ JAC, 10-3. Both were pretty painful.
  7. Been to a least a dozen games in Miami and will be there again this year. As many have mentioned, Miami is a rather tame away game due to the lack of Dolphins support and abundance of Bills fans who show up. Despite this, I treat Miami like I do going to any NFL away game. I'll usually tone down my attire. Wearing a Bills hat and polo shirt, rather than the full on Jersey. Additionally, my overall NFL rule is the better the seating section equals less rowdiness. I don't have any kids but I don't think I would bring any kid to an NFL game until they are in there teens. Just too many drunken buffoons.
  8. I didn't know there was a college pro bowl game. Being the director of recruiting for it seems like a tough gig. The best talents in college football right now have trouble committing to play in bowl games. Seems like guys without any potential to get drafted would play in this game.
  9. Meeehhhhhhh. I think she gets a lot of attention because she is young and she has a deep adult type voice. The novelty will wear off as she gets older.
  10. This was a totally dumb thing to do. However, part of me feels bad for young kids growing up in these days when everything is recorded. I personally have done a gazillion dumb things when drinking growing up. The good news is nothing got recorded back then.
  11. Thanks for the info. Overall the coverage is weird. It was live on NBC golf this morning. Cut away to the European tournament. Now is back on NBC golf but is replaying from this morning.
  12. Can someone please inform me to why this final round is so early? Leaders are on hole 5 and it’s not even 11am. It figure it should be all over before 3pm. Is there a weather concern for the afternoon?
  13. I put $250 on the over. I am cautiously optimistic.
  14. I just sent a text to my Mom (who is polish) trying to say Happy Dyngus day. It autocorrected to happy fungus day.
  15. I agree eball. I don't know why but I was rooting against Hossler. I feel bad for him airmailing into the water in the playoff but I was pulling for Poulter. Also, if you were watching all day Hossler seemed a little bit whiney after shots. Who knows, he is young and best of luck to him. On a side note, here are my random three bets for the Masters this week: 1) Spieth finishes above Tiger. 2) Jim Furyk finishes in the top ten. 3) Underdog to win.... Rickie Fowler
  16. Should we care that he is in the middle of the pack? How many times do we need to hear Tiger is back? Until he is contending, this is a non story. Right in the middle T-84th
  17. I think that Rotten Tomatoes and especially IMDB's ratings are inflated when a movie is first released. This could be due to several factors: production companies may pay to have people give good scores, people who go to see the movie when it first comes out already love the franchise/idea, or something else. The better solution is to find a reviewer or critic who has solidly given their blessing to movies that you have enjoyed. On a side note, I have several rules I adhere to when I am going to watch a movie. They have worked out for me well: 1) Movie has to be rated R. I have enjoyed many movies with lesser ratings but to me they are just basic entertainment. Not classics with themes and messages. For example, I enjoyed Finding Nemo but in no way do I think it is on the same level with No Country for Old Men. 2) The movie can not be a sequel or remake. Of course there are exceptions to this (Terminator 2, Godfather 2, The Thing etc.) but they are the exception, not the rule. I want to see an original script or story. I have become more and more bitter with the same ideas being rehashed and droves of people going to see the movie because they remember the original. 3) No superhero movies no matter what. On a further side note: The Dark Knight is constantly praised and is the #5 best movie of all time on IMDB. I loathe this movie and have often thought about writing down a comprehensive review of why it is terrible.
  18. I had NO +5.5!!!! I was freaking out waiting for the PAT attempt! I got lucky there was mayhem and they just kneeled!
  19. Good idea Boyst. My tickets are decent (Section 232) so I don't think I will move much. However, I have a friend who is in a box. Do you think that trick would work for Box seats? Thanks Dr. Dawkinstein! Another good tip. Anybody have an idea if there will be a scalper market?
  20. Hello All, Sorry to add one new thread in the addition to the many that are out there regarding the game this weekend. However, I haven't seen this posted in other places and think it is insightful for those attending the game. Like many of you, I purchased 6 tickets through Vivid Seats on Sunday night. (This applies to those who purchased from Stubhub as well) These are "mobile tickets" where you use your phone as entry. I have already created my Jacksonville Jaguars account and have the tickets in there. Today I called the Jacksonville ticket office to see if I can print these tickets. I was informed you cannot and all playoff tickets are "mobile entry." As an FYI to all those attending who got their tickets through such means I recommend: 1) Making sure you have the app downloaded and can view your tickets ahead of time. 2) Sending tickets to the individual members of your group so they have it on their phone. In my case I have to share 5. It is no problem for all the tickets on one phone if everyone is planning on entering the game at the same time and staying together all day. However, if anyone needs to go to the bathroom or get food without the mobile ticket, they may not be allowed back in the section. Lastly, I have one question. I have several friends who are planning to come to the game and hoping to scalp tickets outside the stadium. Since the vast majority of tickets out there are these "mobile tickets," will there be much of a scalper market? Currently, of the 1000 or so tickets on Stubhub only 8 are hard printable tickets.
  21. Two comments: 1) You may not be aware but if you work in PR there is a law requiring you get a bonus. There are stipulations to this with the employment sector, full or part time, and how long you have worked for the company. Despite this, most full time employees get between $200-$600 every year. 2) I have worked for my current employer for about 11 years. In the beginning the company was small ~30 employees and the bonuses were good. But they have steadily declined to the current status. See my rough estimate below: 2007- $500 or bring spouse to meeting in Mexico 2008- $500 giftcard 2009- $500 or bring spouse to meeting in Mexico 2010- $250 Giftcard 2011- $75 Honey Baked Ham Giftcard 2012- $100 in a Send Out Card Subscription (basically a service to send out cards for free) 2013- $50 Gift Card 2014- $25 Applebees GiftCard 2015- Present- Just an email thank you.
  22. I like DD's posts as much as any other poster here. However, his "inside sources" and messages are quite cryptic. I don't know why so many take his opinion as truth compared to any other posters ramblings. If he does have inside info about the stadium and location why not post it? Why just give clues on how to find it? He could create a new email, new username, and completely hide his identity and post the info. Due to this, I hold his comments with as much credibility as any other fan. Someone should compile his predictions and insights and we can all review them in a years time. Happy Holidays!
  23. At the time of me posting this the "gaming disorder" thread is just above the "Call of Duty" thread.
  24. 720 lbs of pressure in his pelvic thrust! Random Thoughts: Pats definitely get some insight from picking up Harrison. Also, this reeks of a great "storyline" for the AFC championship game and possibly Pats Superbowl win.
  25. Is it safe to say if we get into the playoffs we will be the 6 seed. And then therefore play @ Jac?
