SPOILER ALERT!!!! Hello All, After reading this thread a couple weeks ago I just blazed through the first three seasons. I have a few questions: 1) First, how is 3 episodes considered a season? 2) In S1 E1 "The National Anthem", what is the explanation of why the kidnapper kills himself? Is it he just assumes he'll be caught? 3) In S3 E6 "Hated in the Nation", how did the newer agent "catch" the rogue murderer? I know the broadcasted testimony, about the agents apparent suicide was probably falsified. But how would that lead to them catching/tracking him? Overall, I liked the show. Hope they get more seasons soon.

Anyone still watching WW? Beware Spoliers.... In the latest episode there was finally what I would consider a twist or shock. Did anyone see this coming that Bernard was actually a host? I didn't see it until the point he got fired. I figured something was up, and as clues came out I put it together. The other thing I found surprising is how Ford then used Bernard to kill Theresa. Previous to this I viewed him as the charming eccentric visionary. Now he is a murderer and probably has killed others (possibly the previous partner. Sorry I can't recall his name). Another question is what is to be down with Bernard now? He was fired so I assume he won't work in his previous role. Maybe he ends up in Ford's secret areas of the part. Anyhow, this was the first episode where after it ended I wanted to watch another right away. Thoughts out there?

I have watched the all the episodes so far and like it however..... I am starting to get worried this will be a show where it seems to build and build and build but never really deliver. I feel like I keep watching the same storylines (get it?). Maybe this is intentional. How many times can I watch Westworld employees say the hosts are suffering a one time glitch? There has been multiple glitches every episode but the WestWorld employees seem to be hiding it. Also, like the guests I have no feelings for the hosts getting blown apart in gun battles. After seeing a few episodes worth I don't really care anymore. I'd rather see a guest die. Maybe this is intentional too. I will keep watching but hope we get some answers. LAST RANDOM SIDE NOTE: The guest who is a jackass said at one point they were paying $40K a day to be in the park. This number seems off. For this type of technology, I figure it needs to be AT LEAST 25 years in the future. I was thinking for a park/experience to this magnitude it would be millions per day.

Don't care much for the NBA.... I won't tune in until the playoffs and then only marginally.

Power ranking are always weird. I don't think the LA Rams are that good but 3-1 and 1st in their division has to be worth more than the 29th spot.

My Annual, Beginning Of The Season, post
IslandBillsFan replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jack, I was about to PM you and ask where this was. Some random thoughts: 1) Jeez harsh words from Rick Reilly in segment two. 2) Sad to see some of the people in this video who have passed without seeing the completion of the dream. 3) With playoff draught, I would hate to see a three part video summing up the last 16 years. 4) I haven't seen the replay of the Music City Miracle in a while and maybe I'm biased, but it definitely looks like it goes forward to me. Some notes unrelated to the videos but I wanted to post them anyway: 1) I am not looking forward to the gazillion reviews, penalties, and commercials this year will have. Games are getting harder and harder to watch. 2) Before Week #1 has been my favorite part of the Bills for many years now. Only part of the year you can hold on to true optimism. 3) Go Bills! See you at the opener. -
Fellow TBD Members, With the first preseason game two days away I haven't heard much about what to expect in the first game. I know there has been many reports from camp and practices (Thanks Astro) but I haven't heard how much starter time we will see Saturday. Will we see the offense and defensive starters for at least a quarter? Also, anyone or anything people want see in this first game? Thanks and glad we are getting closer to the regular season. P.S. As always Mods, if this is overlaps with any other thread feel free to move of delete. I searched colts and preseason but only found threads about other specific topics.

Jim Furyk Shoots a 58 on the PGA Tour
IslandBillsFan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Few random thoughts on Furyk: 1) He seems to be consistently in the 10 ten for any tournament I have watched him in. 2) He looks very funny with his hat off. 3) 58 is awesome! -
Longest trip to the opener?
IslandBillsFan replied to BringBackFergy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After eyeballing the map, I think I am a close second to those coming from Cali. I will be coming from Puerto Rico and bringing the Zika virus with me. Maybe I get bonus credit because I will be flying over more water than anyone else in the thread. -
Some thoughts on seat belts semi related to this post: I completely agree that seat belts the vast majority of the time save lives and prevent more serious injuries. I also acknowledge there should be laws about children wearing them. What I can't understand is why there are laws compelling adults to wear them. I understand that most people should wear them, however, it seems most adults should have the choice to wear them. If I want to run the risk of being ejected from my car I think I should be able to. I don't know of any cases where a body was ejected from the car and it ended up hitting and hurting others. It seems to me that if you are forced to wear a seatbelt because it is preventing potential self harm then we might as well ban motorcycles as well. Going down this line of thought we should ban alcohol, cheeseburgers, ATV's bicycles etc etc etc.... Just my random thoughts here. I am going to sound like some weird anti-govenrment wacko but personal choice should play a factor on what risks you want to take.

Hello All, ZIKA is not a worldwide crisis in need of awareness. It is a media creation. Here is my humble opinion from the U.S. capital of ZIKA, Puerto Rico. As of last week, there are about 1,100 cases of ZIKA in the continental U.S.. In U.S. territories (mostly PR) about 2,500 more cases are present. Most experts expect this virus to spread and grow. However, the concern is mostly media generated. In the continental U.S. I think there has been one confirmed death. Out of 5 people who have ZIKA, only 1 presents symptoms. These symptoms are minimal, similar to a cold or flu. The trouble with ZIKA is if a pregnant woman contracts it there is potential for microcephlany. Brazil and several other regions have a much higher concentration of the ZIKA virus however it still doesn't present a health "crisis." Compare ZIKA to almost any other disease and you will find many more cases of the disease and many more deaths. Malaria kills about a half a million people for years. However, we understand malaria and are not concerned with it. ZIKA is the new disease on the block and is generating all sorts of media attention. I think of ZIKA as the disease of the year, think SARS, Bird Flu, Mad Cow Disease, Ebola, West Nile etc. etc. Although ZIKA will grow and will cause problems you are still 5x more likely to get killed by a shark, 5x more likely to blow yourself up with fireworks, and 50,000x more likely to be killed in a car crash. P.S. I'll try not to contaminate Ralph Wilson stadium at the opener.

Quick question: At the end of the Germany France game the French fans and players did the Icelandic clap thing. I thought that was an Iceland thing? Did France just steal it because it was cool?

I am not a season ticket holder (as I live in Puerto Rico). However, my cousin purchased two tickets for me for the season opener this morning. Not sure how much trouble he had but his seats are in 209 and he got me two in 207.

Tragic news for The Hip, last tour...
IslandBillsFan replied to ricojes's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hello Fellow Hip Fans, Obviously, this is terrible news for Gordon and the band. Glad to see they are still doing a tour. I am looking at getting tickets to a show as this may be the last tour. Has anyone looked into getting tickets? In the email they sent out they mentioned their will be a pre-sale on May30th and they will email details. I haven't received any emails yet and am getting worried. Anyone have any insight? -

Sticky of Bills' moves - N'th week of FA
IslandBillsFan replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I haven't been following the Bills free agency but I keep hearing about other teams pick ups. After reading Popazoid's summary, it seems a little concerning. Could this be a semi rebuild? -
Jim Kelly: 'The U is going to be back' under Mark Richt
IslandBillsFan replied to Saxum's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After living in Miami from 2006 to 2011 it seems every year they think they will be "back." I hope this is the case as I think the coaching choice is an upgrade over past choices. On a side note, I am planning of going up to my alma matter to see Miami @ Appalachian State University in Boone, NC this year. Should be fun! P.S. I went to ASU not Miami -
golf fans -- is Tiger Woods done?
IslandBillsFan replied to truth on hold's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I wish they would've show Tiger Woods following the kids shot. I wouldn't be surprised if he missed the green. -
They say we wouldn't know what to do with it...
IslandBillsFan replied to Billsfed's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My friends and I always go to the home opener every year. Before the game we always make sure everyone agrees to the vow that if the Bills make the playoffs we will go. Looking at how the team has been the last 16 years, we all assume when the drought ends it will be an away wild card game. We will go which will most likely be a pain in the ass. Trying to get tickets, get hotels, and get flights with one week notice will be expensive. However, if you average out the money we have saved by not going to the playoffs for 16 years we should be able to fork it. -
Just a birth defect. The real Chupacabra lives down here with me in PR.

Hello Everyone, First off I am not of Puerto Rican descent, however, I have lived on the island for over 4 years. With that being said I have attended two funerals here and both would be considered normal ceremonies. These strange wake scenarios do exist but not nearly to the extent that the media makes them out to be. With all that being said, if I pass away in PR feel free to prop me up with my laptop open looking at TBD.
