We should do what needs to be done to get Jawaan Taylor and a WR from Ole Miss (DK or Brown) - that would be 3 guys drafted who were mocked top 10 at one point
LETS GOOOOO
Smart money says we move up a bit today... I think we need to do it if we want any of the following guys:
- Jawaan Taylor
- DK Metcalf
- AJ Brown
- Hakeem Butler
- Greedy Williams
I am down to trade up for the first 3 guys on that list... who are you willing to trade up for today?
I think Oliver, Jonah, Q-Williams, and Hock will all be gone... so we end up with DK Metcalf
If any of those guyrs remain however, they will take one of them
Rosen stays in Arizona
Murray goes to the Giants at 6 and people go nuts about the Saquan/Murray combo
Lock to Broncos at 10
because...
Bengals move up to 9 and trade with us for Haskins (we move to 11 and literally lose nothing because a QB went 9 and 10... we all chug a beer for Beane)
Jones goes to the Pats with the last pick in the first round
I was alright with DK or any WR at 9 until I saw the last picks at 9 and realized the Bengals took Josh Ross at that spot - made me think about the "reach" factor by grabbing a WR that early and the lack of impact they can have on a team.
For that reason, I am ok with DK or any WR as our first pick, just preferably not at 9
if no WR in the first round is true, we better move up in the late first and grab one... similar to us grabbing Tremaine Edmunds last year, and according to his 4.0 draft from that year roughly around the same spot
keep 9 - draft best defensive player or o lineman on the board
trade whatever is needed to grab either the best TE or WR we have on our board in the late teens/20's
BOOM
or
keep 9 - draft best offensive player on the board (o line, TE or WR)
trade whatever is needed for Frank Clark
BOOM
you are at the store and you have a gift card that expires that day... do you spend the money left on it? or just buy what you want and let the rest of the money go to waste?
