We went 2-0 on the road. Josh Allen is showing enough progress to prove he can win games for us as long as we have a steady O line and a run threat. Gore is a legend, but he is no longer a game breaker. Singletary was the perfect fit for us, but if he is going to be out, we make the move now... Call the Chargers and offer a 2nd round pick. His ability to assess the gambles better are beginning to show: throwing at guys feet when the screen isnʻt there vs throwing the ball out of bounds vs chucking the ball to someone open to complete the first down. 1st half: I loved that the Giants came down and scored right away. It allowed Josh to enter a game knowing that he needed to get momentum back, and that he did. He ended the half with 200+ yards passing and I was so excited to see them come out of the half and just deliver the knockout punch. Well... 2nd half: I blame the majority on play calling but jeez that was a let down. Still though, Allen did what needed to be done and made the throws necessary to seal the deal. It wasn't sexy, or the "fantasy football" QB1 game for the ages, but he did better than last week... and most importantly got us 2 road wins to start the season. love it... I think the tape of Singletary now shows opposing defensive coordinators that you have to respect our run game, which will allow Josh Allen to sit in his now safe pocket (thanks new O-line) and throw to his new WRʻs... aka - the perfect storm for a revamped offense. If the defense can continue to do what they do, I agree that our offense can take the next step and we can hit that 10 win mark.

FUN FACT: Today Josh Allen threw for 254 yards with a 65% completion rate (including those 2 picks which one could argue were not his fault) Last year, he has never thrown for that many yards in a game - also his average was 172 yards per game with a 52% completion rate So has he shown improvement? Of the 4 turnovers, one INT was batted at the line, the other INT was bounced of Beasleyʻs knee (which he should have caught, one fumble on a bad exchange on a 4th and 1 which I doubt he and Morse had much practice doing, and the last was a strip sack - which I put the total blame on him. Josh Allen did two important things today: he led a team, and he won a game AWAY against a DIVISION RIVAL when nothing was going our way and they were even down 0-16. GO BILLS!

Run vs Pass doesnʻt really matter to me ratio wise... we just canʻt be running on every single first down like we did in his last pre season game We just need to eliminate predictability, because I think he is smart enough and talented enough to make the right read based on what the defense is giving him
